정서조절 양식과 부모 애착이 청소년의 생활만족에 미치는 영향 (Emotion Regulation Style and Parent Attachment : Effects on Adolescents' Satisfaction with Life)

  • Subjects were 2192 middle and high school students of Seoul and Kyonggi Province. Data, consisting of a self-report questionnaire, were analyzed by two-way ANOVA, univariate F-test and stepwise multiple regression. Findings were that boys showed more avoidance/distraction and active problem solving styles but less support seeking than girls. Older adolescents reported less parent attachment than younger adolescents; girls reported more mother attachment than boys. Older adolescents reported more life satisfaction than younger adolescents; girls reported more life satisfaction than boys. A higher degree of life satisfaction was reported by subjects with more parent attachment, more active problem solving and less avoidance/distraction styles, by younger adolescents, and by girls. Degree of parent attachment was the most powerful predictor of adolescents' satisfaction with life.

정서행동문제아의 부모 및 또래에 대한 애착과 두려움, 스트레스 대처행동 간의 관계 (The Relationships between Children's Emotional and Behavioral Problems, Attachment, Fears and Coping Behaviors)

  • The present study systematically analyzed the relationships between children's emotional and behavioral problems, attachment, fears and coping behaviors. The subjects of this study were 63 school-aged children residing in Seoul, Gwangiu and South Jeolla province. The findings indicated that emotional and behavioral problems were negatively correlated to children's attachments to their fathers and peers. The children's attachment to peers had a significant correlation as well as behavioral problems and coping strategies used by children in stressful situations. Emotional problems were explained by fears of realistic objects, the seeking out of social support, mother and father attachment, and fears of imaginary objects. In addition, behavioral problems were explained by aggressive coping behaviors and child-father attachment.

Factors associated with Maternal Attachment of Breastfeeding Mothers

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors associated with maternal attachment of breastfeeding mothers, with a focus on the mothers' breastfeeding characteristics. Methods: Data were collected from 217 mothers who breastfed their healthy baby for 1 month after childbirth and had no postpartum complications. The data were analyzed by hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The factors significantly associated with maternal attachment were an emotional exchange with one's baby (${\beta}=.41$, p<.001), breastfeeding confidence (${\beta}=.20$, p=.022), depression ('quite a bit or more', ${\beta}=-.18$, p=.005), and depression ('a little', ${\beta}=-.14$, p=.024). The model explained 38.4% of variance in maternal attachment. Conclusion: In order to improve attachment, nurses should be actively supported in helping mothers in the first month postpartum adapt to breastfeeding. Interventions to prevent postpartum depression should also be conducted.

어머니애착이 중학생의 적응에 미치는 영향: 아버지애착의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Influence of Maternal Attachment on Adolescents' Adjustment as Perceived by Middle School Students: The Moderation Effect of Paternal Attachment)

  • Objective: This study examined the influence of maternal attachment on adjustment in adolescence and investigated whether paternal attachment had any moderating effects on the relationship between maternal attachment and adjustment in adolescence. Methods: The participants of this study were 300 second graders from two middle schools in Seoul. We measured paternal and maternal attachment as perceived by the participants, adjustment in adolescence through school life adjustment, depression, and relational aggression. The study applied correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis suggested by Baron and Kenny (1986). Results: First, participants with high parental attachment showed high levels of school life adjustment, low level of depression, and low levels of relational aggression, demonstrating healthy psycho-social adjustment in adolescence. Second, paternal attachment played a facilitating role in the process of high maternal attachment's positive influence on school life adjustment. Third, paternal attachment mitigated the process of low maternal attachment's negative influence on depression. Conclusion: Our findings highlight the importance of emotional communication, support, and intimacy between parents and children in middle school. Furthermore, it emphasized the importance of the paternal role and involvement in the mother-child relationship.

어머니 애착유형과 결혼갈등, 자녀양육행동 및 아동행동문제와의 관계 (Relationships between Maternal Attachment Style, Marital Conflict, Caring Behavior and Child Behavior Problems)

  • This study examined how the attachment styles of married mothers influence their marital conflicts and caring behavior and the behavior problems of their children. Subjects were 60 mothers and their 60 elementary school children. Data were analyzed with correlation, multiple analysis of variance and path analysis. Mothers with unstable attachment styles had more children with behavior problems and they had more serious marital conflicts. Mother's with preoccupied attachment styles experienced more marital conflict than all other styles. Seriousness of marital conflict was related to negative caring behavior and negative caring behavior was related to behavior problems in children. There were direct paths between the attachment style of mothers and both externalized and internalized behavior problems of children in the clinical group.

어머니 대모애착, 양육효능감, 경제적 수준과 영유아기 애착 발달과의 관계 (The Relationship Between Maternal Attachment, Parenting Efficacy, Mother's Economic Level and Infant-child's Attachment Development)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 대모애착과 양육효능감 및 경제적 수준이 영유아 애착에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구는 대전시 5개구에 위치한 8개소에 재원중인 12개월에서 36개월 사이의 영아와 48개월에서 60개월 사이의 유아 총 60명, 그리고 그들의 어머니를 대상으로 하였다. 영아와 유아의 애착 측정을 위하여 영아 Q-set검사와 Slough와 Greenberg의 유아용 SAT 면접을 실시하였다. 또한 어머니 대모애착은 성인애착 척도(AAS)를 번안한 질문지를 사용하여 측정하였고 어머니 양육효능감은 이윤진의 척도를 이용하여 평정하였다. 수집된 자료는 평균과 표준편차를 구하였고 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 어머니의 대모애착이 영유아 애착에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였고, 경제적 수준이 영아 애착형성에 관계가 있음을 밝혔다.

분만중 시행한 전신마사지가 신생아 아프가 점수, 분만경험 및 모아애착 반응에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Full Body Massage on Apgar Score, Postparturm Mother′s Childbirth Experience and Mother-Infant Attachment)

  • Purpose: This study is designed to test the effects of a full body massage on Apgar score, postpartum mother's childbirth experience, and mother-infant attachment for primipara during labor. Method: Data were collected using a quasi-experiment method (nonequivalent control group, pre-post test design) from November 1, 2001 to July 31, 2002. The subjects for this experiment consist of 28 women in the experimental group and 29 in the control group, out of 57 primipara hospitalized at the U OB & GYN hospital in Inchon. A 20 minute full body massage was given to the experimental group on each of three delivery phases (latent, active, and transition), and a conventional delivery care to the control group. The experimental tools for the study are Apgar score scale developed by Apgar(1958), postpartum mother's childbirth experience scale developed by Marut and Mercer(1979), and mother-infant attachment scale developed by Cropley et al(1981). The data collected were analyzed using t-test, χ2 test, and ANCOVA on the SPSS program. Result: The results of the experiment are as follows: One minute(t=6.756, p=.000; F=9.181, p=.004), and five minute(t=6.129, p=.000; F=7.918, p=.007) Apgar score are increased significantly. Postpartum mother's childbirth experience is significantly increased(t=11.691, p=.000; F=11.741, p=.001). Verbal touch score(t=5.256, p=.000; F=7.169, p=.010), skin touch score(t=11.332, p=.000; F=27.073, p=.000), and total score(t=12.105, p=.000; F=30.104, p=.000) of postpartum mother's childbirth experience are significantly increased, but not for eye touch score(t=3.236, p=.002; F=.800, p=.375). Conclusion: This study shows that a full body massage has a significant positive effect on Apgar score, postpartum mother's childbirth experience. and mother-infant attachment. Therefore, it is suggested that the full body massage might be used clinically to help primipara during labor.

유치원 유아의 모-자간 애착유형분류와 애착에 대한 유아기질의 영향 (Classifications of Attachment to Mother at Age 5 and 6 and the Relationship between Temperament and Attachment)

  • The purpose of the present study was to classify the attachment to mothers of kindergarten children based on a system for classifying attachment organization developed by Main and Cassidy(1988) and to examine the relationship of children's temperament with attachment. 32 children and their mothers were observed and videotaped in the strange situation. Mothers were administered the children's temperament questionnaire revised by Chun (1992). The data were analysed by t-test. The results showed similarity between the attachment classifications of Main and Cassidy (1988) and those of Korean children. These results can be considered partial validation of Main and Cassidy's classification system for the measurement of the attachment of 5-to 6-year-old Korean children. Children's temperament has significant correlation to the security of attachment.

애착문제 유아 가족을 위한 인형을 이용한 가족놀이치료 프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (The Development and Effectiveness of a Family Play Therapy Program Using Puppets for Families with Children Having Attachment Problems)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a "Family Play Therapy Program" using puppets to decrease attachment problems for families with children having attachment problems and to examine its effectiveness. The participants were an experimental group of 16 individuals(8 children with attachment problems whose ages ranged from 4 to 5 and 8 mothers) and a control group of 16 individuals (8 children with attachment problems whose ages ranged from 4 to 5 and 8 mothers). The experimental group was treated through the Family Play Therapy Program, which involved the use of puppets and was held for twelve sessions twice a week. The changes in the participants were measured in order to examine the effects of the program. The researcher measured children's emotional and behavioral expression(TBP), the mothers' sense of self(Self-Differentiation Scale), personal relationships(ECR-R), and the perception of family functions(ICPS-FFS) both before and after the FPT program and compared their differences. The MIM Rating Scale and Marschak Behavior Rating Scale were administered to examine the interactions between mothers and children, and 1:1 interviews were also conducted. The data thus gathered were used for non-parametric analysis(Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon rank sum test)using SPSS WIN 17.0. The results of this study were as follows: First, the program had a positive effect on children's emotional expression. After the problem were over, negative emotional and behavioral expression in the experimental group decreased. Second, the program had a positive effect on mothers' self-differentiation and personal relationships. Third, the program had a positive effect on changes in the interaction behaviors between the mother and child. Fourth, the program had a partially positive effect on the responses from their group developmental stages, especially on the subscale of both a program for the reinforcement of mothers' emotions and family play program utilizing puppets.

아동기 애착에 관한 일 연구 (A Study of Children's Attachment to Their Mothers in middle Childhood)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the children's attachment patterns and the effects of the family-related variables. The interview method was used to know the children's attachment patterns and the questionnaire was used to collect the family-related variables. The subjects were 272 elementary school children ranged 1st grade to 3rd grade in Kwangju. The results were as follows: 1. In the contexts of separation from mother, two major patterns of children's attachment appeared : patterns showed much anxious feeling but accepted the separation; patterns showed much anxious feeling and they rejected the separation. These two patterns were consisted in anxious feeling but inconsisted in responses. 2. Children showed significant differences in their attachment patterns to their mother's early attachment patterns to their mothers, maternal employment, SES of the family, and sex of the child were not found.
