화학증착법에 의해 제조된 PbTiO$_3$ 박막의 AES와 XPS에 의한 조성분석 (The Chemical COmposition Analysis by AES and XPS of PbTiO$_3$ Thin Films Fabricated by CVD)

  • Lead titanate thin films with a perovskite structure were successfully structure were successfully fabricated on titanium substrate by Chemical Vapour Deposition(CVD). Analyses of Auger Electron Spectroscopy(AES) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) have been performed in order to find a chemical composition of lead titanate films. The analysis of chemical composition by AES and XPS was investigated for variations of deposition temperature and Ti(C$_2$H$_{5}$O)$_4$ fractions. The chemical composition of PbTiO$_3$by XPS analysis was almost constant regardless of deposition parameters and the comparison of chemical composition by AES and XPS was performed.d.

삼계탕 재료 및 각종 식품의 사상의학적 분류와 화학조성과의 상관관계 (Relationship between Classification of Sa-Sang Constitutional Medicine and Chemical Composition of Samgye-Tang Ingredients and Other Food)

  • The characteristic fitness of food to each Sa-sang constitution and the relationship between Han-Yeoul characteristics and chemical composition after classifying Samgye-tang ingredients and other food into Ohn-Yeoul-Ryang-Han characteristic were assessed. When the suitable constitution to the each characteristic was investigated after classifying Samgye-tang ingredients and other food into Han, Ryang, Pyound, Ohn and Yeoul of which fitness case for Soeumin was 44∼63% but fitness case for Soyangin and Taeyangin was only 0∼18%. When the relationship between Samgye-tang ingredients and other food classified into Ohn-Yeoul-Ryang-Han and chemical composition of fatty acid, amino acid, vitamin and mineral was investigated, the value of correlation coefficient was extremely low. There was not the relationship between chemical composition and Han-Yeoul classification. Therefore it should be further investigated the relationship between characteristic and chemical composition by additional analysis index.

강의 화학조성이 경화능에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Chemical Composition on a Hardenability of Steel)

  • The hardenability of steel is related to its chemical composition. About this relationship, multiple regression analysis of hardenability data was proposed to explain the effect of chemical composition on a hardenability of steel. To establish the formula for calculation hardenability, given hardenability curve(U.S.S. Atlas) were quantitatively analyzed by multiple regression analysis program of computer. The established hardenability model was applied to predict the hardenability of commercial steel fair well. The effect of chemical composition was also expressed quantitatively.

  • In woody waste separated from municipal solid waste, medium density fiberboard was major contributors with particleboard, paper, plywood and log, with different composition based on collected period. In chemical compositional analysis of woody waste, it was similar to softwood based on carbohydrate composition analysis. Based on the carbohydrate composition, saccharified solution from MWW could be good resource for biorefinery.

  • 에폭시 수지는 우수한 열적, 기계적, 화학적 성질로 인해 다양한 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있으며, 에폭시 수지의 기계적 물성을 향상시키기 위한 많은 소재와 함께 혼합하여 사용하고 있다. 에폭시 조성물의 경화 후 기계적 물성의 향상을 위해서 에폭시 수지에 다양한 소재를 혼합하는데, 나노소재중에서는 CNT가 가장 많이 사용되고 있다. 하지만 CNT는 제조 공정 및 제조 비용적인 측면에서 한계점이 있기 때문에 천연적으로 산출되는 HNT에 대한 관심이 모아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 두 종류의 실란으로 각각 처리된 HNT가 함유된 에폭시 조성물의 열적 기계적 물성에 대해서 조사하였다. 실란처리 된 HNT를 다양한 함량으로 제조하여 에폭시 조성물에 첨가한 후 금형몰드에서 경화시키고 만능재료시험기를 이용하여 기계적 물성을 측정하였으며, differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) thermomechanical Analysis (TMA) 등의 장비를 이용하여 다양한 열적 특성을 측정하였다. 위의 실험 결과, 두 종류의 실란 화합물 중 아민으로 HNT를 표면 처리하였을 경우, 이를 포함하는 에폭시 조성물의 인장강도가 에폭시 실란으로 처리된 HNT를 포함하는 에폭시 조성물 보다 높은 것을 보였다. 또한 치수 안정성 비교를 위한 thermomechanical analysis 실험에서 얻은 선형 열팽창계수는 아민계 실란으로 처리한 HNT 조성물이 65 ppm으로 처리하지 않은 HNT 보다 낮은 값을 갖는 것을 보였다.

Chemical Characterization of Industrial Hemp (Cannabis sativa) Biomass as Biorefinery Feedstock

  • Chemical composition and enzymatic saccharification characteristics of hemp woody core were investigated by their chemical composition analysis and enzymatic saccharification with commercially available cellulases (Celluclast 1.5L and Novozym 342). Hemp woody core have higher xylan and lower lignin contents than its bast fiber. Based on hemicelluloses and lignin composition, hemp woody core is similar with hardwood biomass. However, cellulose was more easily converted to glucose than xylan to xylose and this trend was confirmed both hemp woody core and yellow poplar. Hemp woody core biomass shows higher saccharification than yellow poplar (hardwood biomass) based on cellulose and xylan hydrolysis. With easier enzymatic saccharification in cellulose and xylan, and similar chemical composition, hemp woody core have better biorefinery feedstock characteristics than hardwood biomass.

  • One-dimensional coordination polymer of cadmium(II) complex, $[Cd(SCN)_2(C_4H_6N_2]_n$, has been prepared and characterized by X-ray single crystallography. Structure analysis reveals that each cadmium(II) atom is six-coordinated in distorted octahedral fashion with $CdS_2N_4$ composition. $CdS_2N_4$ composition contains two S and two N atoms from four thiocyanates and tow N atoms from two 4-methylimidazole ligands. Central cadmium(II) atoms are run in parallel to the a-axis and are doubly bridged with neighboring cadmium(II) atoms by the thiocyanate and isothiocyanate ligands. Thus, this complex has a one-dimensional polymer structure in which the 4-methylimidazole is in the trans conformation.

물리정수법에 의한 형광 X선분석과 만장굴석주의 연대측정

  • Cheju island is situated at about 90km south of southern most tip of the Korean peninsula. Its shape is an ellips with size of 80$\times$40$km^2$, and it is characterized by a symmetrical form whose peak is Mt. Halla (1950m). Major chemical composition of the rock samples from Manjang gul cave is determined by XRF using the fundamental parameter method consisting of fully auto quantitative analysis, semi quantitative analysis (order estimation) and group quantitative analysis. Judging from chemical composition ($SiO_2 = 53.07Wt% Fe_2 O_3=11.34Wt%, MgO=6.48Wt%, Na_2 O=3.07Wt%, K_2 O=1.05Wt%$), this rocks may belong to non alkalic basalt. K-Ar ages of two rocks samples from the Manjang gul cave are also determined. The discrepancy of K-Ar ages is found. They are 0.03Ma and 0.42Ma, respectively. This paper describes some problems experienced in dating young volcanic rocks and then discusses chemical composition, X-ray fluorescence analysis and the age of the formation of a lava tunnel such as Manjang gul cave in cheju Island.
