3차원 절삭가공에서의 2자유도 채터안정성 해석

  • Three dimensional dynamic cutting can be postulated as an equivalent orthogonal dynamic cutting through the plane containing both the cutting vector and the chip flow velocity vector in cutting process. An analytical expression of dynamic cutting force is obtained from the cutting parameters determined by the static three dimensional cutting experiments. Particular attention is paid to the energy supplied to the vibration of the tool behind the vertical vibration and the direction. The phase lag of the horizontal vibration of the tool behind the vertical vibration and the direction angel of the fluctuating cutting force must be regarded in point of stability limits. Chatter vibration can effectively be suppressed by enlarging the dynamic rigidity of the cutting system in the vertical cutting force direction. A good agreement is found between the stability limits predicted by theory and the critical width of cut determined by experiments.

지상무기체계에서의 외란측정을 이용한 정밀 지향성 향상 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Aiming Ability using Disturbance Measurement in the Ground Military Vehicle)

  • The aiming ability is a key to improve the accuracy performance of the gun pointing system in the ground military vehicle. This paper describes the new detection method of chatter vibration using disturbance acceleration in the pointing structure. In order to analysis the vibration trends of the pointing system occurred while the vehicle driving, acceleration data obtained from vehicle was processed by using data processing algorithm with moving average and Hilbert transform. The specific mode constants of acceleration were obtained from various disturbances. Vehicle velocity, road condition and property of pointing structure were considered as factors which make the change of vibration trend in vehicle dynamics. Finally, back propagation neural networks have been applied to the pattern recognition of the classification of vibration signal in various driving conditions. Results of signal processing were compared with other condition result and analysed.

  • In grinding operations, one of the most important problems is to increase efficiency of process. In order to achieve this purpose, it is necessary to administer the tool lift of grinding wheel and to optimize grinding conditions. Frequently dressing result in lowering the process efficiency remarkably and makes production cost high. On the other hand, grinding with a worn wheel causes the workpiece surface roughness to increase and often results in the occurrence of such troubles as chatter vibration and homing.

  • 연소가공은 가공에 관계하는 변수가 많기 때문에 트라블 요인을 쉽게 파악하기 힘들다. 트라블의 원인을 탐색해서 처리하는 경우에도 정량적으로 정확한 값을 User에게 제공하기는 어렵다. 따라서 대부분 생산시스템에 활용할때 숙련자가 행하는 것 같이하기 위한 유용한 수단이 엑스퍼트 시스템( Expert System)이다. 본 연구는 연삭가공의 Burning과 Chatter vibration의 진단 . 처리에 대하여 폴트 진단모델 과 계층분석법을 이용하여 Prototype적인 시스템을 구축하였다. 또한, 각 노드에 대한 데이타 분석에 있어, 계층분석법을 이용함으로써 정량적이고 애매한 지식을 객관적으로 처리 하였으며, 각각의 노드에 대하여 중요도를 부여함으로써 데이타 베이스와 추론시간의 성력화를 도모하였다.

  • 압연기 채터 진동은 압연기 구성 메카니즘상의 요인으로 다양하고 복잡하여 원인을 추적하기가 대단히 어렵다. 이러한 압연기 채터 진동은 압연기 구성기기들을 조기 마모시켜 설비의 수명을 저하시키고, 설비전체의 불안정성을 가중시켜 제품 품질 문제를 야기하기 때문에 꼭 해결해야 할 과제이다. 최근 더욱 고속화, 연속 압연화되고 있는 압연 공정의 진동 발생 문제는 본론에서 언 급한 것 외에도 전기 제어계에 의한 문제, 판의 두께 정도의 향상을 위해 사용하는 AGC(automatic gage contrlo) 시스템의 유압 변동에 의한 문제 등을 포함하여 압연 메파니즘을 보다 다각도로 연구 검토하여 해결해 가야 할것으로 생각된다.

  • A new cutting force estimating approach and machining state monitoring examples are presented which uses a cylindrical displacement sensor built into the spindle. To identify the tool-spindle system dynamics with frequency up to 2 kHz, a home-built electro-magnetic exciter is used. The result is used to build an algorithm to extract the dynamic cutting force signal from the spindle error motion; because the built-in spindle sensor signal contains both spindle-tool dynamics and tool-workpiece interactions. This sensor is very sensitive and can measure broadband signal without affecting the system dynamics. The main characteristic is that it is designed so that the measurement is irrelevant to the geometric errors by covering the entire circumferential area between the target and sensor. It is also very simple to be installed. Usually the spindle front cover part is copied and replaced with a new one with this sensor added. It gives valuable information about the operating condition of the spindle at any time. It can be used to monitor cutting force and chatter vibration, to predict roughness and to compensate the form error by overriding spindle speed or feed rate. This approach is particularly useful in monitoring a high speed machining process.

  • 지향성능은 발사차량의 정확성에 있어서 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구는 외란 가속도를 이용하여 지향구조물의 진동을 감지하는 방안과 실험 결과에 대하여 기술하였다. 주행 중 발생하는 진동 경향을 분석하기 위하여 가속도 자료를 이동평균과 힐버트 변환을 이용하여 신호 처리하였다. 다양한 외란에 대하여 가속도의 모드 계수를 얻었으며, 차량속도, 노면조건, 지향구조물의 특성을 차량 동특성의 진동을 변화시키는 요소로 간주하였다. 마지막으로 다양한 주행 조건의 진동 신호를 분류하기 위한 패턴인식에 역전파 신경망 이론을 이용하였다. 각 조건에 대하여 실험 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • This paper describes a case study on dynamic characteristics analysis of a 5-axis multi-tasking machine tool of ram-head typed. Natural frequency and corresponding vibration modes of the machine tool structure were obtained by using both FEM modal analysis and an experimental modal test(impulse hammer test). Both the theoretical and experiment analysis results showed good agreement with each other. Finally, some discussion and review, from the view point of resonance vibration and/or mode coupled chatter, were made based on the analysis results.
