The structures built carelessly become the origin of a serious environmental problem caused from the urbanization. To solve this problem, I have considered the characteristics of Atrium as an environment-friendly factor to the office environment. The result is that Atrium protects the insiders health and contributes to the energy saving as it enables the use of natural lights and solar heat first. Second, it gives the office environment liveliness, makes a clean environment and helps the insiders health for introduction of green field. Third, it plays a role of a place for rest, a place for meeting, and a small park by attracting people to the organic space where the inside and outside are connected with a huge glass. On the basis of these characteristics, we should try to prepare the complementary relationship between human beings and nature mutually through its active introduction in the space.

This study was examined to analyze of the characteristics analysis of purchasing behavior for environment-friendly agri-products on consumers in Gwangju. The 310 subjects formatted questionnaires were analyzed to frequency, percentage, crosstabulation, chi-square test and logistic regression by SPSS WIN 10.0. The main results of this study were as followings (1) It was analyzed that consumers have had the reason to purchase, purchase places, purchase number of times, purchase background, optimum price and purchase item for environment-friendly agri-products. (2) It was tended that consumer showed degree of satisfaction, point to improve and purchase intention continuously for environment-friendly agri-products. (3) It was proved that age, income, medium contact level, cognitive level, valuation basis, producer and the direct deal, the consumer organization's co-op, large-sized discount hoarded goods for purchase places and price reduction for promotion of purchase for environment-friendly agri-products was of the characteristics analysis.

Purpose: This study is to propose direction for healing environment design in hospital architecture considering the characteristics of elderly patients. The primary goal of a public hospital is providing cheap health care and quality service chance to the underprivileged and elderly in the dead zone. Compared to the rapid increase of the aged population and chronic diseases, Ministry of Health & Welfare is currently planning model of health promotion hospital in development plans of local based public hospital. Due to the increased elderly medical expenses, elderly patients' high utilization is considered. Methods: The literature on the design factors of healing environments were investigated. based on this, analyzed drawings of surveyed hospitals ward in architectural characteristics and observe and evaluate directly healing environment design through field surveys. Results: The design of hospital environment affects patient's therapeutic effect. There is no any official formula for hospital design but environment that architect create could be a big part of the healing process. To increase the quality of the environment, apply the characteristic factors and harmonize well as a human-centered healing environment. Implications: Healing environment design for the elderly is first necessary condition due to high proportion of elderly patients.

The purpose of this study was to analyze in-depth the nurses' experience of hospital work and the factors affecting career interruption of nurses. For this purpose, 20 inactive nurses aged 26-55 participated in interviews about their experience as nurses, characteristics of nursing work, and reasons for retirement, and applied the analysis method of Colaizzi among phenomenological research methods. The analysis resulted in 104 significant statements, 17 formulated meanings, 6 clusters of theme, and 2 categories. The two categories are nursing work characteristics and work environment characteristics. In the characteristics of nursing work, there are four clusters of theme of 'time pressure', 'lack of autonomy', 'physical and emotional labor', 'low wage increase', and in the characteristics of nursing work environment, there are two clusters of theme of 'physical environment' and 'human environment'. Therefore, in order to improve the nurse career interruption, efforts should be made to alleviate excessive work intensity, raise the appropriate level of pay and provide a safe working environment.

To improve the driving performance and work efficiency of the multi-purpose agricultural robot, this paper conducted a study on the turning and steering characteristics of the robot platform according to the characteristics of the working machine coupled to the multi-purpose agricultural robot considering the agricultural environment. First, the size and characteristics of the developed multi-purpose agricultural robot platform and working machine, and the targeted field farming work environment are analyzed. And based on this analysis, the problems that arise in multi-purpose robots with conventional turning methods are quantitatively presented. And to overcome this problem, an improved turning and steering method for multi-purpose agricultural robots is proposed considering the characteristics of various workstations and the agricultural working environment. Finally, by applying the proposed method, the turning characteristics of the multi-purpose agricultural robot according to the working machine are analyzed and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.

This study identified online information characteristics and investigated the effects of information characteristics on word of mouth performance in online environment. And the comsumer knowledge was found to be a moderator of the relationship between information characteristics and WOM performance in online environment. The implication of this work to both researchers and practitioners were discussed.

In this study, electrochemical characteristics variation and removal efficiency with initial pH and mineral compositions during electrokinetic remediation of lead contaminated soils were investigated. Test results showed that heavy metal transportation affected by soil characteristics and electrochemical characteristics varied during electrokinetic remediation. Therefore, in the application of enhanced electrokinetic remediation technique to increase removal efficiency, discrete selection of enhanced technique with characteristics of targeted soil were needed.

Children in elementary school spend most of their time in their rooms in the housing environment. Children need to be provided with a new children's room environment that fits to their growth and development. Thus, the purpose of this research is to find out environmental characteristics of elementary school children's room. The samples are 633 children in their fourth or higher year grades. The results were analyzed using frequency, percentage, 1-test and F-test. For the research, used also were a developed measurement instrument in this study for environmental characteristics of children's room. The characteristics of children's room environment were categorized into ten items; convenience accessibility, order, ability to express, originality, safety, comfortability, privacy, territoriality, and social interaction. Children's rooms are designed to provide convenience and accessibility to children, but do not provide the creativity in them.

This study used path analysis to investigate causal effects of creative home environment and emotional and cognitive variables on children's creative thinking and characteristics. the subjects were 233 5- and 6-year-old children, their mothers and teachers in the City of Taegu and Kyungpook Province. Major results were that (1) creative home environment directly affected children's creative thinking, creative characteristics and motivation. (2) Children's motivation directly affected children's creative characteristics. (3) Children's temperament directly affected motivation and indirectly affected children's creative characteristics through motivation. (4) Children's intelligence directly affected knowledge, and indirectly affected children's creative thinking through knowledge.

This study was to investigate the impact of environment characteristics on perceived value and visit intention in franchise coffee shops. And, the study was to examine the mediating role of perceived value in the relationship between environment characteristics and visit intention. The data were collected from 212 coffee shop users and analyzed with SPSS and AMOS.. The findings are as follows. First, price, service, and atmosphere have a significant effect on the defined hedonic value but menu does not. Second, price and service have a significant effect on utilitarian value but menu and atmosphere do not. Finally, both hedonic value and utilitarian value have a significant effect on visit intention.
