With advances in QR code, mobile is becoming one of important channels in the fashion retail industries. This study attempts to understand the importance of QR code utilization in creating multi-channel business model. Study objectives are to classify types of multi-channel retailing by QR code utilization and to explore the role of QR code technology in strategic marketing elements for types of multichannel retailer. As an exploratory approach, a total of 78 news articles regarding QR code issues were reviewed and analyzed by focusing on 48retailers seleted in this study. The results found seven dimensions of QR code marketing strategies: abundant product information, additional information contents, transaction accessibility, connectedness to channels, location based service, loyalty program and multimedia advertising. Based a combination of channels and level of mobile apps' activation, multichannel retailers utilizing QR code technology were classified into four types; bricks-click-active mobile model, bricks-click-inactive mobile model, bricks-click model, and click-active mobile model. There were differences of using QR code marketing strategies among multichannel models. According to results, for bricks-and-mortar retailers, QR code was critical to integrate shopping experience with merchandise or sales promotions across channels. In addition, for non-store retailers, the QR code utilization was successful in expanding mobile channels, which can promote retail sales by a two-way interaction with customers via the mobile apps.

Recent studies on the Constant Bit Rate and Variable Bit Rate transmissions have mainly focused on the frame by frame encoder rate control based on the quantization parameter. With the existing approaches it is difficult to guarantee a consistent video quality. Also, the rate control overhead is too high for the real-time video sources. In this paper, a channel rate allocation scheme based on the control period is proposed to transmit a real-time video, in which the control period is defined by a pre-specified number of frames or group of pictures. At each control period, video traffic information is collected to determine the channel rate at the next control period. The channel rate is allocated to satisfy various channel rate constraints such that the buffer occupancy at the decoder is maintained at a target level. If the allocated channel rate approaches the level at which the negotiated traffic descriptions may be violated, the encoder rate is decreased through adjusting quantization parameters in the MPEG encoder. In the experimental results, the video quality and the overflow and underflow probabilities at the buffer are compared at different control periods. Experiments show that the video quality and the utilization of network bandwidth resources can be optimized through the suitable selection of the control period.

With the limited frequency spectrum and an increasing demand for cellular communication services, the problem of channel assignment becomes increasingly important. However, finding a conflict free channel assignment with the minimum channel span is NP hard. As demand for services has expanded in the cellular segment, sever innovations have been made in order to increase the utilization of bandwidth. The innovations are cellular concept, dynamic channel assignment and hierarchical network design. Hierarchical network design holds the public eye because of increasing demand and quality of service to mobile users. We consider the frequency assignment problem and the base station placement simultaneously. Our model takes the candidate locations emanating from this process and the cost of assigning a frequency, operating and maintaining equipment as an input. In addition, we know the avenue and demand as an assumption. We propose the network about the profit maximization. This study can apply to GSM(Global System for Mobile Communication) which has 70% portion in the world. Hierarchical network design using GA(Genetic Algorithm) is the first three-tier (Macro, Micro, Pico) model, We increase the reality through applying to EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility Constraints). Computational experiments on 72 problem instances which have 15${\sim}$40 candidate locations demonstrate the computational viability of our procedure. The result of experiments increases the reality and covers more than 90% of the demand.

This paper analyzed the characteristics of the Lossy JPEG of the meteorological satellite image, and analyzed the quality of the Lossy JPEG compression, which is proper for the LRIT(Low Rate Information Transmission) to be serviced to the SDUS(Small-scale Data Utilization Station) system of the COMS(Communication, Oceans, Meteorological Satellite). Since COMS is to start running after 2008, we collected the data of the MTSAT-1R(Multi-functional Transport Satellite -1R) for analysis, and after forming the original image to be used to LRIT by each channel and time zone of the satellite image data, we set the different quality with the Lossy JPEG compression, and compressed the original data. For the characteristic analysis of the Lossy JPEG, we measured PSNR(Peak Signal to Noise Rate), compression rate and the time spent in compression following each quality of Lossy JPEG compression. As a result of the analysis of the satellite image data of the MTSAT-1R, the ideal quality of the Lossy JPEG compression was found to be 90% in the VIS Channel, 85% in the IR1 Channel, 80% in the IR2 Channel, 90% in the IR3 Channel and 90% in the IR4 Channel.

A spread spectrum(ss) communication system has a lot of advantage, such as realzation of asynchronous code division multiplexing(CDM), robutness to narrow-band interference, impulse noise, privacy function, and so on. We have considered utilization of these advantage to develop a local area network(LAN) using such a transmission channel as power-line. In a power-line, however, restricted bandwidth under the law makes it difficult to carry out CDM, and in a radio channel the sysstem has a near-far problem. These problems originate in co-channel interference, which is due to cross-correlation among pseudo-noise sequences of every channel in CDM. In this paper, we propose a new scheme of easily cancelling co-channel interference and investigate its performance by constructing a LAN using SS technique.

Applying an appropriate received signal processing algorithm based on the channel characteristics is important to improve the receiver performance. Wireless channels in general exhibit various time-delay characteristics depending on their power delay profile. When the estimated channel power summation is used to determine the amount of time delay, a channel adaptive receiver structure can be implemented. In this paper, we derive a closed-form expression for the error probability of the channel classification when the estimated channel power summation is used to classify channel groups having different time delay characteristics, and present the performance gain utilizing multiple estimation results.

In cognitive radio (CR) network, the channels are generally classified into either the unavailable channels that are occupied by incumbent users or the available channels that are not occupied. The conventional channel classification scheme may result in poor utilization of spectrum holes since it does not take the spatial relationship between CR node and incumbent users into consideration. In this paper, we propose an efficient channel management scheme for the centralized CR network to maximize the spectrum holes by overcoming the shortcomings of conventional scheme. In addition, we mathematically analyze the effectiveness of proposed scheme. Based on the proposed channel management scheme, we also propose the rendezvous algorithm, which can establish the control channels between base station and CR node under the dynamically changing spectrum environment.

Cognitive Radio system can guarantee available channel whenever, wherever by sensing surrounding channel condition. Therefore, there is a strict rule that have to use allocated channel efficiently without any interference from incumbent User. In this paper, to avoid interference which can occur during uplink transmission in CR system, we propose reporter using scheme which informs incumbent user's situation to adjacent cell to limit channel usage. Therefore, we can use more channel in each cell without interference. With this scheme we can expect better throughput using more channel in a large space with same resource.
Purpose: Due to COVID-19, the rapidly changing untact culture from offline to online has spread rapidly, increasing the utilization of omni-channel. However, among the studies on consumers in the online market, there are not many studies that analyze Shopping Values and attitudes toward omnichannel Acceptance. Research design, data, and methodology: This study investigated through empirical analysis how Shopping Values and innovation propensity of consumers using omni channels affect omni channel Acceptance attitudes. The analysis results based on a total of 268 questionnaires using SPSS v.23 and AMOS v.23 statistical programs are as follows. Results: First, it was found that the perceived Value of omnichannel use had a positive effect on the innovation tendency, and the pleasure Value had a greater effect than the actual Value. Second, it was found that the practical and hedonic Value of the omnichannel had a positive effect on the attitude of service Acceptance. Third, it was found that Omni Channel's consumer innovation tendency had a positive effect on service Acceptance attitude. Conclusion: This study proved that Shopping Value perception and individual innovation propensity for omnichannel services have a positive effect on Acceptance attitude, and it is of academic significance in that it expanded understanding of what factors are needed to increase Acceptance attitude of Omni Channel services.

A Block-Time-Bounded Time Division Multiple Access (BTB-TDMA) medium access control protocol, which estimates the propagation delay of nodes according to their location and moving velocity information, has been proposed for underwater acoustic networks. BTB-TDMA provides nodes with their transmission schedules by a time block that is a time unit, newly designed for BTB-TDMA. In this paper, we investigate how the receiver collision, that is induced by the asymmetry between node's uplink and downlink propagation delay due to its mobility, affects the performance of BTB-TDMA. To do this, we analytically obtain the collision rate, the channel access delay, and the channel utilization by considering the asymmetry of propagation delay. Then, simulations are extensively performed with respect to the length of a time block by varying the number of nodes, the network range, and the node's velocity. Thus, the simulation results can suggest performance criteria to determine the optimal length of a time block which minimizes the collision rate and concurrently maximizes the channel access delay and the channel utilization.
