A Study on Inner Zone Trip Estimation Method in Gravity Model (중력모형에서 존내 분포통행 예측방법에 관한 연구)

  • Gravity Model estimates target year's distributed trips using three variables like as origin zone's trip production, destination zone's trip attraction and traffic impedance between origin zone centroid and destination zone centroid. Estimating inner zone trip by gravity model is impossible because traffic impedance of inner zone has "0" value. So till today, for estimating inner zone trips, other methods like growth factor model are used. This study proposed inner zone trip estimation method that calculates inner zone's traffic impedance using established gravity model and estimates inner zone trips by putting calculated traffic impedance into the gravity model. 1988 year's surveyed O-D as basic year's O-D, proposed method's and existing methods(growth factor method and regression model)'s estimated results of 1992 year's and 2004 year's were compared with each year's real O-D by $x^2$, RMSE, Correlation coefficient. And resulted that the proposed method is superior than other existing methods.

  • This paper suggests an evaluation of risk level for damage of marine accidents in SRRs. Qualitative analyses in words is sometimes priorior to quantative analyses in numeric symbols. This paper intoduces a concept of fuzzy theory with the plenty of related literature riview and AHP in the Korean SRRs of RCC and RSC. The methodology of this paper is maxㆍmin composition of fuzzy extensive principle, defuzzifiation is centroid of gravity methods. At the result, the evaluation of risk level is especially over Serous for smarine accident of Taean, Gunsan, Mokpo, Yosu, Tongyoung, Busan SRR. This paper recommends that many Resale Vessels and Equipments need to the reduction of risk level about those.

  • This article compares the weighted geometric median with the centroid, from the question why they use the centroid when they would find the single facility location(the weighted geometric median) which minimize the sum of weighted Euclidean distances in some text books and papers. Firstly, we show that the demand point whose volume of demand exceeds the half of total demand is the weighted geometric median differently from the centroid, and we examine the weighed geometric median when every demand point is located on a line. Meanwhile, we could simply see that the geometric median and the centroid are coincident in the special case when every demand point is located at a vertex of a regular polygon, and every volume of demand is equal. Furthermore, the geometric medians of convex tetragons could be simply attained unlike triangles.

  • In this study, the risk of SRRs was assessed upon the scale of the damage of marine accidents. For the risk assessment, inner-outer dependence methods and special knowledge-based fuzzy logic were introduced. Also, in order to calculate the importance of assessment value in this study, a max-min composition method was used for fuzzy logic based on the principle of fuzzy extension and the centroid of gravity method was used for non-fuzzy formation. In order to produce the importance of assessment items, the inner-outer dependence methods were used for assessment items, and markov analysis method was used for the importance of the final comprehensive assessment. As a result, the risk of SRR of Tongyoung, Mokpo and Yeosu was proven relatively higher, thus, it needs to have more rescue ships and rescue devices for relieving the risk in the future.

Image Watermarking Robust to Geometrical Attacks based on Normalization using Invariant Centroid (불변의 무게중심을 이용한 영상 정규화에 기반한 기하학적 공격에 강인한 워터마킹)

  • This paper proposes a digital image watermarking scheme, which is robust to geometrical attacks. The method improves image normalization-based watermarking (INW) technique that doesn't effectively deal with geometrical attacks with cropping. Image normalization is based on the moments of the image, however, in general, geometrical attacks bring the image boundary cropping and the moments are not preserved original ones. Thereafter the normalized images of before and after are not same form, i.e., the synchronization is lost. To solve the cropping problem of INW, Invariant Centroid (IC) is proposed in this paper. IC is a gravity center of a central area on a gray scale image that is invariant although an image is geometrically attacked and the only central area, which has less cropping possibility by geometrical attacks, is used for normalization. Experimental results show that the IC-based method is especially robust to geometrical attack with cropping.

Log-Polar Image Watermarking based on Invariant Centroid as Template (불변의 무게중심을 템플릿으로 이용한 대수-극 좌표계 영상 워터마킹 기법)

  • Digital image watermarking is the method that can protect the copyright of the image by embedding copyright information, which is called watermark. Watermarking must have robustness to intentional or unintentional data changing, called attack. The conventional watermarking schemes are robust to waveform attacks such as image compression, filtering etc. However, they are vulnerable to geometrical attacks such as rotation, scaling, translation, and cropping. Accordingly, this paper proposes new watermarking scheme that is robust to geometrical attacks by using invariant centroid. Invariant centroid is the gravity center of a central area in a gray scale image that remains unchanged even when the image is attacked by RST including cropping and proposed scheme uses invariant centroids of original and inverted image as the template. To make geometrically invariant domain, template and angle compensated Log -Polar Map(LPM) is used. Then Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) is performed and the watermark is embedded into the DCT coefficients. Futhermore, to prevent a watermarked image from degrading due to interpolation during coordinate system conversion, only the image of the watermark signal is extracted and added to the original image. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is especially robust to RST attacks including cropping.
