  • The Chinese cellular phone markets growth has the character which is two-sided gives the chance and threat in Korean mobile communication industry. This also demands the localization of the international marketing strategies which establishes in grasp of consumer consuming propensity and purchase intention. It is the goal that provides a strategic current point to the Korean enterprise which enter to China. To observe a test of hypothesis results concretely from empirical analysis with after words is same. The hypothesis 1, 'corporate image really will plus affect(+) in purchase intention' the hypothesis was adopted. The hypothesis 2, 'brand image really will plus affect(+) in purchase intention' also the hypothesis was adopted. The hypothesis 3, 'product attributes really will plus affect(+) in purchase intention' also the hypothesis was adopted. The other research hypothesis which sex and age were rejected, school was adopted partially, others was adopted. When about the consumer who is used from empirical analysis measurement items in the center application presents the strategies which is possible in fact.

  • Telematics, which is a compound word of a telecommunication and informatics, provides drivers with useful driving information such as driving path guidance, accident or robbery detection, traffic conditions and other valuable data at real time. This paper proposes and implements how to build a telematics terminal equipped with CDMA and GPS running embedded Linux, to check a vehicle's state through communication between telematics server and vehicle terminals using a cellular phone and to control a vehicle using SMS as shown in Figure 1. In order to do this, we use the SK-VM platform which is mobile terminal platform based on JAVA to design, implement and evaluate it.

  • Recent generation of wireless computing has focus on the integrating of exisitng technologies to enhance the mobile capabilities and developing a new approaches to meet the needs of the growing pool of applications. This paper describes an integrated IEEE802.15.4 wireless CDMA based healthcare system that interacts and received the data wirelessly from wireless medical devices of patient and forward to medical center by using the cellular network. Mobile application had been developed not only as the middle ware to handle the receive and transmit of medical data between wireless sensor network and cellular network but also provides the interface for monitoring and analyzing the health condition of patients continuously at cellular phone regardless of its physical location. This system thus enables the remote healthcare monitoring and supports medical data seamlessly roams between IEEE802.15.4 wireless network and CDMA network beyond and outside the hospital environment.

  • In this paper, design and fabrication of miniature voltage-controlled oscillator(VCO) is discussed . Based on the two-port circuit analysis technique, VCO for 900MHz cellular mobile phone is designed and circuit parameters are optimized using the circuit simulator. Using the optimized design parameters, miniature VCO with 6${\times}$6${\times}$1.8 mm$^3$(0.065cc) dimensions is fabricated and experimented. Experimental results show that implemented VCO has -3.5 dBm output power level and 45MHz tunung range, respectively, and has -101.5dB/Hz Phase noise performance at 10 KHz frequency offset.

  • Recently, the interest of Wireless Power Transmission(WPT) has been increased for Mobile device application. It is necessary to analyze interference between wireless devices for the efficient use of frequency resource. The Minimum Coupling Loss(MCL) method and the Monte Carlo(MC) method were used for the interference analysis. In this paper, the impact of the 3rd order harmonics of the wireless charger for Cellular Phone on the existing Radio Modem was analyzed. As a result, the separation distance and the allowable number of interferer on the basis of service radius were obtained to protect the Radio Modem from the wireless charger for Cellular Phone.

  • This paper analyzes the local specific absorption rates (SAR's) averaged over 1 g and 10 g in a human head model in contact with a mobile phone operating at 835 MHz. The used numerical method is a total field finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) technique. The phone was simulated with a conducting box, a plastic case, and a whip antennal composed of a monopole and a helix. The discrete human model of the spatial resolution 3 mm is based on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), computerized tomography (CT) and anatomical images. The near field and far field and far field patterns were analyzed for extended and retracted phone. The two methods to take the volumes of the weights, 1 g or 10 g in tissue are proposed and compared to offer a reproductive technique for SAR estimations.

  • Objectives : There has been gradually increasing concern about the adverse health effects of electromagnetic radiation originating from cell phones which are widely used in modern life. Cell phone radiation may affect human health by increasing free radicals of human blood cells. This study has been designed to identify DNA damage of blood cells by electromagnetic radiation caused by cell phone use. Methods : This study investigated the health effect of acute exposure to commercially available cell phones on certain parameters such as an indicator of DNA damage for 14 healthy adult volunteers. Each volunteer during the experiment talked over the cell phone with the keypad facing the right side of the face for 4 hours. The single cell gel electrophoresis assay (Comet assay), which is very sensitive in detecting the presence of DNA strand-breaks and alkali-labile damage in individual cells, was used to assess peripheral blood cells (T-cells, B-cells, granulocytes) from volunteers before and after exposure to cell phone radiation. The parameters of Comet assay measured were Olive Tail Moment and Tail DNA %. Results : The Olive Tail Moment of B-cells and granulocytes and Tail DNA % of B-cells and granulocytes were increased by a statistically significant extent after 4-hour use of a cell phone compared with controls. Conclusion : It is concluded that cell phone radiation caused the DNA damage during the 4 hours of experimental condition. Nonetheless, this study suggested that cell phone use may increase DNA damage by electromagnetic radiation and other contributing factors.

  • The computer system is gradually complicated because of explosive growth of computer system and IT technology. For efficient management of complicated system, system load monitoring technology is essential. In this paper, we is implemented the real-time load monitoring system based mobile than the traditional methods that are used load-related commands in system manager or specific load application programs based connected wire. Advantage of implemented load monitoring system in this paper is freely saw load information in time and space though mobile method like as PDA, cellular phone, more than traditional methods intime and space.

  • 전자상거래의 탄생과 성장의 가장 큰 당위성은 고객의 만족도 제고와 효용성의 증대라 할 수 있다. 이러한 측면에서 살펴볼 때, 이동성, 위치성, 접근성 및 개인성을 고루 갖춘 M-Commerce에 대한 수요는 매우 폭발적일 것으로 판단된다. 그럼에도 불구하고 기존의 유선 인터넷 망을 이용하는 전자상거래에 비해 기술 규격이 표준화되지 못하고 있는 점, 보안 및 인중이 취약하다는 점, 불편한 인터페이스 등의 문제로 아직까지는 대중화되지 못하는 태동기라고 볼 수 있다. 현재, M-Commerce의 주요 수단으로 사용되는 Cellular Phone과 PCS의 차기 모델로서 대두되고 있는 IMT 2000과 기존의 단말기를 대체하는 PDA 사용자의 급증 동 제반 불만족 요인의 상당 부분을 극복 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 또한, M-Commerce의 Business Model은 기존은 기존의 전자상거래가 B2B 시장이 가장 폭넓은 시장인데 비해 B2C 시장으로 특화될 수 있을 것으로 전망된다.

An Effective Pre-refresh Mechanism for Mobile Handhold Device′s Embedded Web Browser

  • Mobile handhold devices such as PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) and Cellular Phone are more and more popular for personal web surfing. But today, most mobile handheld devices have relatively poor web browsing capability because of the small bandwidth of wireless connection, the small speed of CPU, the small capacity of RAM and Flash ROM, the small display size of LCD and the short lifecycle of battery. Users have to endure bigger communication latency than Desk PC's one because of these factors. In this paper, we propose an effective pre-refresh mechanism for handheld device's embedded web browser so as to make user's web surfing faster. The experiment was done using the simulator designed by ourselves and the experiment result demonstrates the proposed mechanism has a good performance to make web surfing faster.
