Design Planning of Group-Home for the elderly in Rural Area (농촌형 고령자 그룹홈의 사례와 제안)

  • The elderly rate in South Korea in 2015 is over 13.1%. Especially, the elderly rate in rural area is high. Senior community project in rural that is being promoted by the government. This study's purpose is to provide the reserch group-home for the elderly in Japan rural area. And this paper provided planning of group-home for the elderly in Korea rural area. For this study, respective 5senior housing of Korea and Japan were chosen as respresenting two nations, and every manager was interviewed on housing pattern. This study suggests the planning material as following. First, the effectiveness of the group-home are big. Especially, the elderly was far healthier. Design point is public space(living room, small living room, etc). Maybe, healthy group-home concept is that would be design by Korean traditional housing. Also important public space design is that would be inner courtyard-house, wood floor, Deachong, etc. Two group-homes will construct elderly welfare facilities in between. Otherwise that is need layout of a big public space. In the case of vacant house can used by considering of scale, structure, site condition. Closed school can used through so easy remodeling too. More often than not complex type(hospital, community heath center) was appeared in Japan rural area. In the case of Korea, recommend complex type in community health center and public building. In this case, considering communication, access, contact, group-home keeps on ground floor. In this paper, we hope to take a lesson from group-home planning source for the elderly in Korea rural area.

Thermal Decomposition Characteristics of Azo compounds (아조(Azo)화합물 열분해특성)

  • This study was investigated the thermal decomposition characteristics of azo type sponge blowing agent azodicarbonamide(ADCA) using differential scanning calorimeter(DSC). The experimental results showed that the exothermic onset $temperatures(T_{o})$ for ADCA were about $201{\sim}206^{\circ}C$ and evolution heats(Q) were about $144{\sim}150cal/g$. The exothermic onset $temperatures(T_{o})$, exothermic maximum $temperature(T_{m})$ and exothermic final $temperature(T_{f})$ were decreased by decreasing particle size of ADCA and evolution heats(Q) were increased with it. $T_{o}$ and Q for $6.1{\sim}7.2{\mu}m$ ADCA were increased by increasing heating rate at constant sample weight and activation energy was about 37.29kcal/mol. A positive gas pressure was employed in the elucidation of the decomposition behavior of ADCA because it sublimes during linear heating at atmospheric pressure. $T_{o}$ and Q of ADCA tended to increase with a pressure in air or nitrogen. In the case of azo dye, experimental results showed that $T_{o}$ were about $280{\sim}420^{\circ}C$ and Q were about $2{\sim}30cal/g$.

Development of Farm Management Diagnostic Checklist Reflecting Crop Characteristics (작물 특성을 반영한 농가경영진단표 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a farm management diagnostic checklist form, which can be applied to any crops. First, upper indexes and subordinate indexes were identified through survey with expert, and weighted values for each subordinate index were calculated through AHP analysis. Second, as a reuslt of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis, marketing management (0.276) was found to be the most important index of all upper indexes. In the case of subordinate indexes, reflecting management evaluation (0.252) of management consciousness, quality enhancement efforts (0.332) of production management, locating new sales outlets (0.323) of marketing management, agriculture accounting (0.300) of finance management, and adjusting shipping dates (0.274) of risk management were found to be the highest. Third, the interval division using weight of farm receiving prices was higher discrimination in comparison to equal interval division of weighted values for each index. The newly developed farm management diagnostic checklist can be applied to any crops, as it utilizes indexes such as management consciousness, production management, marketing management, financial management, risk management, etc. based on professional opinions. In addition, it allows an objective evaluation of farm management situations by utilizing the weighted value of farm receiving prices.

Statistical Study on Risk Factor of Cerebral Infarction by Case-Control Study (환자-대조군 연구를 통한 뇌경색 위험인자에 대한 통계적 고찰)

  • The purpose of this case-control study was done to examine the relationship among the cerebral infarction, blood lipids and homocysteine. We compared the components of blood lipids and homocysteine between cerebral infarction patients group (n=127) and controls group (n=158). We performed Pearson's chi-square test and Student's t-test for univariate analysis, Binary logistic regression for multivariate analysis to evaluate risk factors of cerebral infarction and Pearson's correlation analysis to investigate correlation between blood lipids and homocysteine. The results were as follows. The blood levels of High density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-Chol) and Low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-Chol) were significantly lower in patients group, while age, the blood levels of Triglyceride(TG) and homocysteine were significantly higher in patients group. Hypertension had a 4.62 odds ratio, $TG{\geq}150\;mg/d{\ell}$ had a 2.33 odds ratio, HDL-Chol ${\leq}40\;mg/d{\ell}$ had a 6.85 odds ratio, but sex, DM, T-Chol, LDL-Chol had no direct relationship with odds ratio(non significant). In addition, among T-Chol and TG , HDL-Chol, LDL-Chol, they had positive correlation each other. Between TG and HDL-Chol had negative correlation each other. Homocysteine was not correlated with blood lipids adjusted for age and sex. These results suggest that low HDL-Chol and high TG may be risk factor of cerebral infarction. The correlation between homocysteine and blood lipids was not proven.y urther reserch on the subject is needed.

  • The consumer's feelings toward products is each evaluated and appears in different way that is to say there are various types of motives for deciding a purchase for example, there might be an interesting function and emotional reaction. How is the product image that induces motives like this metaphorized and evaluated to be existing in the mental image. This study inquired into, it by presenting problems conscious of both sides indicated above, the major points associated with image of the product, characteristic positions of product elements and evaluation of the product. To draw out a clear conclusion, first three hypotheses were established and case a study was performed as part of conclusive research for verification of this. The collected data was made, by simple tabulation to represent the overall flow, and based on this, concrete analysis was conducted on the three reserch items. The analysis method weighted on quantitative analysis with consideration to consumer's psychological aspect. As the result, three important conclusions could be drawn out or ratiocination for evaluation of mental image formation.

A Study on the Evaluation of Biotope Preservation Value in District Unit - Case Study in Sinseo-Dong, Daegu - (지구단위 차원에서의 비오톱 보전가치평가 연구 - 대구광역시 신서동 택지개발 사업지구를 사례로 -)

  • This research has a meaning to provide basic data for eco-friendly way of district unit plans and ecological landscape planning by evaluation of biotope preservation value at the level of district unit and designating land development of the site, the whole area of Sinseo-dong (Dong-gu, Daegu metropolitan city) for research site. The summary of analysis result is as follows. As a result of classification of biotope types on the research site, it is divided into 11 biotope groups such as a residential biotope group and 51 specific biotope types which is subordinate to the groups. As a result of the first value assessment on classified biotope types, there are 16 types of natural rivers which is full of vegetation as a I class. Also it is analysed as 9 types of IIclass, 14 of IIIclass, 8 of IVclass, and 4 of Vclass. In particular, in light of a wildlife habitat, EB, in case of broad-leaved tree of mixed forest assessed as a II class, was classified into Iclass which is one-step upgraded as a final class with the analysis as there is a structural characteristic (more than 71% of low density, 50 years of age-class). As a result of second assessment, it is analysed that there are 17 special sites (1a,1b) and 33 special sites (2a, 2b, 2c) respectively for preservation of species and biotope. Particularly, in case of the No. 27 space, it was assessed that it has the value of about medium (IIIclass) level, but its value was upgraded with the on-spot detailed investigation that most of Aristolochia contorta, designated as a rare plant by Ministry of Environment, is growing. It is regarded that the above-mentioned research result on evaluation of biotope preservation value is expected to provide very important basic materials for future district unit plans and smooth integration with landscape ecology plans and eco-friendly space development.

  • One of properties which X-ray and Neutron can be applied nondestructive test is penetration into the object with interaction leads to decrease in intensity. X-ray interaction with the matter caused by electrons, Neutron caused by atoms. They share applications in nondestructive test area because of their similarities of interaction mechanism. Grating interferometer is the one of applications produces phase contrast image and dark field image. It is defined by Talbot interferometer and Talbot-Lau interferometer according to Talbot effect and Talbot-Lau effect respectively. Talbot interferometer works with coherence beam like X-ray, and Talbot-Lau has an effect with incoherence beam like Neutron. It is important to expect the interference in grating interferometer compared normal nondestructive system. In this paper, simulation works are conducted according to Talbot and Talbot-Lau interferometer in case of X-ray and Neutron. Variation of interference intensity with X-ray and Neutron based on wave theory is constructed and calculate elements consist the system. Additionally, Talbot and Talbot-Lau interferometer is simulated in different kinds of conditions.

A Study for Influence of Salt on Stabilized Marin Clay with Lime and Cement (해성점토의 석회 및 시멘트 안정처리에 미치는 염분의 영향)

  • Abstract The stabilization by lime or Portland cement has long been the most commonly used methods for clay soil. But it wart the purpose of this reserch to define the effectiveness malt content on unconfined compressive strength of limeflay mixture and cementrlay mixture. From result of a laboratary investigation, saInt content in sample soil was not concernd with variation of PH value. PH value of lime 10% mixture and of cement 10% mixture were near 12.4, 11.6 respectively. In case of more than 7 curing days, PH value and Ca++ion concentration were decreased with increasing curing time. Also the result of X-ray difflection analysib for stabilized soil by admixture 10% in 90 curing days showed that the diffrection intensity of Tobermorite and Ettringite and other reaction products was smaller in the case of addition of salt 8% than malt 0% in stabilized soil. When lime-soil mixture and cement-boil mixture were cured in 2$0^{\circ}C$ and 5$^{\circ}C$, 2$0^{\circ}C$ cured mizture produced significantly higher compressive strength than 5t cured mixture and air dry curing sample produced higher than cured sample in water. The addition of salt 2~4% in conjuntion with lime or cement may accelerate strenth gain or not prevent front However, the addition of salt 8% prevent from strength gams.

A study on the Cooking Vessel of Baekje Hanseong Period (백제 한성기 취사용기에 대한 검토 - 심발형토기와 장란형토기를 중심으로 -)

  • This paper was written to understand, through the types and production techniques, how cooking vessels of Baekje Hanseong period had evolved, - the cooking vessels that were excavated from the historic sites of Baekje Hanseong Period such as Mongchontoseong and Pungnaptoseong of Seoul, the ancient tomb group of Seokchon-dong, and Misari historic site of Hanam. First, the results produced through the analysis of types of these cooking vessels are as followings: as for deep bowls, the maximum body diameter is found on the top of pottery, while as for an egg-shaped pottery, the maximum body diameter is found on the middle height of pottery. However, as for the rim diameter ratio to the neck diameter ratio of pottery, the said two typed potteries were shown to have smaller ones. In consideration of each historic site, as for deep bowls, the ancient tomb group of Seokchon-dong had potteries that had less volumes, were deeper, and had higher maximum body diameters. When it comes to an egg-shaped pottery, Pungnaptoseong had the potteries that were deeper than those of Misari historic site, and their potteries also had the maximum body diameter found on the middle height of pottery, and larger rim diameter ratio to the neck diameter of the pottery. The results produced though the analysis of the production techniques of these cooking vessels are as followings: in the case of deep bowls, as the width of a volume category gets larger, the pottery stamping with an anvil including patterns was more frequently used for pottery production. In this case, simultaneously braid patterns were frequently found on the outer sides of these potteries. In addition, it was found the basal walls of these potteries were thinnest in all typed potteries. This shows there occurred technique transitions according to the time flow. When it comes to an egg-shaped pottery as well, the pottery produced by using an anvil had the thinnest basal wall and its rim diameter ratio to its neck diameter ratio was smaller. Also around the mouth of this pottery, traces were found on its front, the traces formed by the strong rotating power. It is determined these two typed potteries were all produced by using an anvil to have thinner walls. Then, how these potteries were used? In the case of deep bowls, liquid food was put on a hearth or ground to be cooked whereas in the case of an egg-shaped pottery, the pottery was put on a puttumak(kitchen stove) mainly for boiling water. The deep bowls and egg-shaped potteries excavated from the center areas of Baekje Hanseong Period were not clearly determined about when their pastes or firing times were, but as for their production techniques, it was possible to check how they had developed. Moreover, it was determined that in the changing aspects of their production techniques, temporalite is also reflected.

The Origin of Changseung and Ongjung Stone (장승의 기원과 옹중석)

  • There is the need to make a sharp distinction as regards JANGSEUNGs (Korean traditional totem poles) that are different in origin, history and function. This study is to identify the functions of the figures, as well as to trace stone JANGSEUNGs to their origins. In this regard, researched were conducted into the origins of JANGSEUNGs and their changes in history. There was a tradition in the GORYEO Dynasty (an ancient dynasty in the Korean Peninsula) that it erected JANGSAENGs (the archaic name of JANGSEUNGs) or allied stone figures within temples; especially, 'TONGDOSA GUKJANGSAENG SEOKPYO (a stone JANGSAENG that was erected by the royal command and is at the entrance of TONGDO Temple located in YANGSAN, South GYEONGSANG Province, South Korea)' functions as a stone monument rather than as a stone sign. In the engraved inscription, it is written that it should be erected in the form of PANA as before. 'PANA' refers to 'ZHONGKUI', a god in Chinese Taoism believed to exorcise devils that spread diseases. The inscription is to define the territory of TONGDO Temple. The article on HAN JUN GYEOM in a book 'WORAKGI (a travelogue on WORAK Mountain in North CHUNGCHEONG Province, South Korea)' written by HEO MOK makes it possible to guess the scale of GUKJANGSAENGs erected in DOGAP Temple. The stones, on which 'GUKJANGSAENG' or 'HWANGJANGSAENG' were engraved, are not JANGSAENGs but are demarcation posts. In the JOSEON Dynasty (the last dynasty in the Korean Peninsula) JANGSAENGs functioned as signposts. Unlike JANGSAENGs in temples, they were made of wood. At first, the word 'JANGSAENG' was written '長生' in Chinese characters, but in the JOSEON Dynasty another character '木 (wood)' was added to them, and thus the orthography was likely to change into 'JANGSEUNG.' In the JOSEON Dynasty, in addition, optative or geomantic figures were not called 'JANGSEUNG.' Historically, for instance, there has been no case where 'DOL HARBANGs (stone figures found only in JEJU ISLAND, South Korea)' are called 'JANGSEUNG.' In a book 'TAMRA GINYEON (a historical record on JEJU Island, South Korea)' it is written that KIM MONG GYU, JEJU governor, erected ONGJUNG Stones outside the fortress gate. ONGJUNG Stones usually refer to stone statues erected in front of ancient kings or dignitaries' mausoleums. Moreover, they were geomantic figures erected to suppress miasma. A magazine 'GWANGJUEUPJI (a journal on old GWANGJU, South Korea, 1899)' shows that two two ONGJUNG Stones were so erected that they might look at each other to suppress miasma from a pathway through which lucks lose. On the two stone figures located in BUAN-EUP, North JEOLLA Province, South Korea, inscriptions 'SANGWON JUJANGGUN' and 'HAWON DANGJANGGUN' were engraved. The words are to identify the figures' sexes. They are a kind of optative geomantic figures, and therefore there is no reason to call them 'JANGSAENG' or 'JANGSEUNG' or 'DANGSAN.' The words 'SANGWON' and 'HAWON' are closely associated with Taoism. Since then, the words have been widely used as inscriptions on stone figures in temples, and subsequently are used for JANGSEUNGs. A hatted ONGJUNG Stone, found in BUKANSAN Fortress, disappeared and other ones may be being buried somewhere. Meanwhile, ONGJUNG Stones in JEJU Island and stone figures in BUAN-EUP have hardly been displaced and thus have properly functioned. Stone figures, made in those days, seem to be most similar in function to JANGSAENGs made during the GORYEO Dynasty. Specifically, like earlier JANGSAENGs, stone figures made during the early to mid-18th century were likely to function not only as optative figures but as boundary stones. Most of stone figures in temples were made whenever the land use survey was conducted throughout the nation, but given that at the same period of time, the commonalty filed many lawsuits against grave sites, temples might erect many stone figures to mark their territories. Currently, wooden or stone figures are commonly called 'JANGSEUNG', but they were erected in different epochs and for different reasons. Their origins are to be sought in stone figures that functioned not only as optative figures in temples but as boundary stones during the GORYEO Dynasty.
