The purpose of the present study is to develop and validate an instrument to assess STEM career motivation. We developed 32 items for 7 constructs (i.e. education experience, career value, academic self-efficacy, career self-efficacy, career interest, parents' support, and career motivation) on STEM career motivation based on Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT; Lent et al.,1994). 767 first year high school students participated in this study. The items were validated by Messick's framework (1995). In this study, we examined the validity of items in four aspects (i.e. content, substantive, structural and generalizability of validity). Methodologically, we used Rasch analysis, Exploratory factor analysis, confirmative factor analysis based on structural equation modelling. We confirmed that our instrument with 32 items as valid and reliable for measuring the STEM career motivation. In addition, we tested the STEM career motivation model based on SCCT. Our model explained the data well, suggesting that external factors (education experience and parents' support) and cognitive factors (perception of value, self-efficacy and interest) were significantly related to STEM career motivation.

The data of 787 college students subjects were collected for the study. The measuring tools were Career Decision Status, Outer Career Barriers, Inner Career Barriers, Career Aspiration, and Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy. The collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling(SEM). The findings of the study were as follows. Results showed that only inner career barriers affect career decision status through the mediating variables of career decision making self-efficacy and career aspiration among outer and inner career barriers anticipated to give negative impact on level of career decision making. Inner career barriers affect career decision making self-efficacy negatively, and career decision making self-efficacy gives positive impact on career aspiration, and career aspiration affects career decision status negatively. In other words, the more aware of inner career barriers, the lower career decision making self-efficacy.
This study aimed to confirm the conditional effect of goal difficulty on the relationship between self-efficacy, career identity, and career commitment of workers in domestic companies. A survey targeting 500 employees of domestic companies was conducted to measure self-efficacy, career identity, career commitment, and goal difficulty. Data were analyzed using MPlus and SPSS PROCESS Macro. The results are as follows. First, self-efficacy was found to have a significant positive effect on career identity and career commitment. Additionally, career identity was found to have a significantly positive effect on career commitment. Second, the mediating effect of career identity on the relationship between self-efficacy and career commitment was significant and moderated by the level of goal difficulty. Based on the above research results, the academic and practical implications are presented.
Medical students' career choices hold significant importance at both individual and national levels. Therefore, Chungnam National University College of Medicine aimed to systematize its revised career fair in 2022, basing its efforts on a career planning process model. Chungnam National University College of Medicine sought to formalize the design process by utilizing the ADDIE model (analysis design, development, implementation, evaluation model) in developing programs for the career fair program. Throughout the entire process, the student support center and student council actively collaborated, striving to incorporate students' requests and opinions. They designed and developed a program for all stages of the career planning process. However, a new stage ("review & ref lection") was added to the existing 4-phase model, creating a transformed framework where this stage interacts with the original 4 phases. Each stage involved portfolios, career aptitude tests, career-related lectures, posters with introductory information about majors, and booths for each major. The revised career fair attracted double the expected participants (N=589). The program evaluation survey showed overall positive responses (N=135). Additionally, some factors in the Specialty Indecision Scale showed significant differences between before and after the career fair. The success of the newly developed career fair at Chungnam National University College of Medicine can be attributed to its systematic framework and the active involvement of students throughout the process. However, for aspects with long-term implications, such as "understand yourself " and "choose your specialty," there may be a need for supplementary programs.

This study aimed at examining the career decision level of Clothing and Textile major college students in Seoul area. With the increasing rates of youth unemployment, preparing college students for their future career and guiding them in making career decision is imperative. Students' satisfaction with their major and motivation orientation were considered as influencing factors, as well as their demographic characteristics. A survey was conducted to 282 students majoring Clothing and Textiles at seven universities and 277 completed questionnaires were used for analysis. The questionnaire measured respondents' major satisfaction, motivational orientation, career decision level, and demographics (gender, age, school and department names, class standing, expected graduation date, subjective social status, and GPA). Descriptive statistics, K-means cluster analysis, one-way analysis of variance followed by Duncan multiple comparisons were conducted. The results indicated that Clothing and Textiles majors were overall satisfied with their major, but the satisfaction level was higher for female than male students. Those who were satisfied with their major were less likely to feel anxious about career decision-making. The High-Motivation group and the Intrinsic-Motivation group showed lower anxiety over career decision-making compared to Low-Motivation and Extrinsic-Motivation groups. The purpose of this study is to show how much career management systems of hospital affect the psychological states of hospital employees. The research was dealing the issues about hospital's career management systems which affect exhaustion, cynicism, and job engagement. We found that job rotation has a negative significant effect on exhaustion. In addition, job rotation also negatively influence cynicism. On the other hand, career education and training has a positive effect on job engagement. Career management support systems and evaluation of career development, however, do not have significant effect on dependent variables. Thus, effective career management systems for hospital organizations are job rotation and career education and training programs. Finally, based on the analyzed results, this study has provide useful information for hospital management to establish efficient and productive human resources-management systems in order to increase in job engagement and reduce exhaustion and cynicism of employees as well.

With the growth of international society, the cultivation of global human resources now includes the cultivation of future human resources and the educations related with the career development program. However, the programs that colleges are operating for the cultivation of global human resources have been limited only to supporting the participation in international training program, operating camp and conferences, etc. On the contrary, to give many learners chances of experiencing courses for global empowerment and employment capability, We are operating the Internet of Everything online education program with Cisco Networking Academy Korea. Based on the management cases of Internet of Everything online education program, this thesis is suggesting a career program on global empowerment that many learners can experience, different from the limitation of the existing program.
