럼블링 음질 인덱스와 음질요소 관계 규명 (Development of Rumbling Index and its Identification)

  • Rumbling sound is one of the most important interior sound of a passenger car. The conventional rumbling noise research was focused on the reduction of the A-weighted sound pressure level. However A-weighted sound pressure level can not give the whole story about the rumbling sound of a passenger car. In this paper, we employed sound metric which is the subjective parameter used in psycoacoustics. According to recent research results, the relation between sound metrics and subjective evaluation is very complex and has nonlinear characteristics. In order to estimate this nonlinear relationship, artificial neural network theory has been applied to derivation of sound quality index for rumbling sound of a passenger car.

  • 특징점들 사이의 간격과 크기의 비례식으로 자동차의 차종을 식별하는 방법을 제시한다. 자동차 영상은 기본 RGB모델에서 Gray색상 모델로 변환시켜 사용한다. Canny Edge Direction을 통하여 자동차의 배경 제거를 수행한다. 윤곽선 검출을 통하여 원하는 특징 점을 얻는다.

차량탑재용 A/Y 시스템의 소음원 규명 (Noise Source Identification of a Car A/V System)

  • This paper presents the noise source identification of a car A/V system. There are two different kinds of noise sources noise generated by loading mechanism and rattle noise by externally forced vibration. A dynamometer has been made to produce stationary inertia to the loading mechanism of A/V system. Sound pressure spectra and sound intensity were measured by operating the dynamometer setup as various motor speeds, and the results were analyzed. A dominant rattle noise source about A/V system's components has been found by multi-dimensional spectral analysis. Residual spectrum method was applied for eliminating coherence between the vibration sources. In result, the dominant rattle noise source was identified by partial coherent output spectrum of individual vibration component.

  • A Suspension system of a car is composed of dampers and springs. The dampers and springs usually have nonlinear characteristics. However, the nonlinear characteristics of the springs and dampers through analytical model cannot agree with the experimental results. Therefore, the nonlinearity of the suing and damper should be known from the experimental results. In this study, the methods of system identification for nonlinear dynamic system in time domain are discussed and the nonlinear parameter estimation lot experimental data of an EF-SONATA car was done. The results show that a cubic and a coupled term should be considered to model the suspension system.

자동차 오디오용 서브우퍼 개발 (Development of Subwoofer for Car Audio System)

  • In this paper, computational analysis and experiments of subwoofer for car audio speaker system were performed and discussed to analyze acoustical phenomena for subwoofer. Ported enclosure system with subwoofer were manufactured and provided for test and simulation purposes. Subwoofer with single voice coil and double voice coil were identified by linear and nonlinear parameter identification method for loudspeaker parameters. For high power inputs to subwoofer, sound pressure levels were compared according to input powers with linear and nonlinear loudspeaker models. For subwoofer system with high power nonlinear speaker model was showed to be adequate to describe the behaviour of loudspeaker.

Functional Characterization of cAMP-Regulated Gene, CAR1, in Cryptococcus neoformans

  • The cyclic AMP (cAMP) pathway plays a major role in growth, sexual differentiation, and virulence factor synthesis of pathogenic fungi. In Cryptococcus neoformans, perturbation of the cAMP pathway, such as a deletion in the gene encoding adenylyl cyclase (CAC1), causes defects in the production of virulence factors, including capsule and melanin production, as well as mating. Previously, we performed a comparative transcriptome analysis of the Ras- and cAMP- pathway mutants, which revealed 163 potential cAMP-regulated genes (38 genes at a 2-fold cutoff). The present study characterized the role of one of the cAMP pathway-dependent genes (serotype A identification number CNAG_ 06576.2). The expression patterns were confirmed by Northern blot analysis and the gene was designated cAMP-regulated gene 1 (CAR1). Interestingly, deletion of CAR1 did not affect biosynthesis of any virulence factors and the mating process, unlike the cAMP-signaling deficient cac1$\Delta$ mutant. Furthermore, the car1$\Delta$ mutant exhibited wild-type levels of the stress-response phenotype against diverse environmental cues, indicating that Car1, albeit regulated by the cAMP-pathway, is not essential to confer a cAMP-dependent phenotype in C. neoformans.

자동차 번호판 인식 및 스마트폰을 활용한 객체지향 설계 기반의 효율적인 차량 관리 시스템 (An Efficient Car Management System based on an Object-Oriented Modeling using Car Number Recognition and Smart Phone)

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차 번호판 인식 및 스마트폰을 활용한 객체 지향 설계 기반의 효율적인 차량 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 수리 차량 입고 시 IP카메라를 이용하여 실시간으로 자동차 번호판을 인식하고 인식된 차량의 기존 수리 이력 정보를 DID에 출력한다. 또한 차량 정비사가 수리 차량을 정비하는 동안 IP 카메라를 통해 수리 과정을 동영상으로 촬영하며, 촬영된 동영상 중에 프레임을 추출하여 사용자의 스마트폰에 이미지를 전송함으로써 고객 차량 확인 및 수리 이력 관리 기능을 제공한다. 사용자의 편의성을 제공하기 위해 웹 및 모바일 기반의 사용자 인터페이스를 제공한다. 제안하는 시스템의 설계는 구현 후 재사용성과 확장성을 고려하여 모듈을 세분화한 객체 지향 기반의 소프트웨어 설계 모델링을 적용한다. 제안하는 시스템을 통해 차량 수리 센터 및 정비업체는 업무의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 아울러 차량 수리를 요청한 고객의 신뢰도를 높일 수 있다.

차세대 실감 내비게이션을 위한 실시간 신호등 및 표지판 객체 인식 (Real-time Identification of Traffic Light and Road Sign for the Next Generation Video-Based Navigation System)

  • 차세대 실감 내비게이션 시스템은 2D 기반 내비게이션 시스템의 단점을 보완하고 보다 안전한 운전을 할 수 있도록 다양한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 연구되고 있다. 실감 내비게이션 시스템 차선인식과 도로시설물 객체 DB, 교차로 인식 모듈등의 기능 블록들로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 실감내비게이션의 중요 요소 중 하나인 교차로 인식을 위한 신호등과 표지판 인식 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 알고리듬은 색상 정보를 이용해 인식 대상을 검출하고 객체의 특징을 이용하여 신호등과 표지판을 객체별로 인식할 수 있도록 하였으며 실험을 통해 검증하였다. 실험결과 신호등의 경우 60-30m의 거리에서 평균90%의 인식률을 보였으며, 표지판의 경우 90-40m의 거리에서 평균 97%의 인식률을 보였고, 프레임 당 평균 처리시간이 46msec로서 실시간 처리가 가능함을 보였다.

SPME에 의한 꽃향유의 휘발성 향기성분 분석 (Analysis of Volatile Compounds in Elsholtzia splendens by Solid Phase Microextraction)

  • Volatile compounds in Elsholtzia splendens were extracted by solid phase microextraction (SPME). Two kinds of SPME fiber, carboxen/polydimethylsiloxane (CAR/PDMS) and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) were used to determine the selectivity of the fibers to the different flavor compounds present in the Elsholtzia splendens. Identification of volatile compounds was based on the linear retention indices (RI) and the comparison of their mass spectra with those of on-computer library. Thirty compounds were identified in the volatile compounds extracted by CAR/PDMS fiber, including 1 aldehyde, 5 alcohols, 3 hydrocarbons, 17 terpene hydrocarbons, 3 ketones and 1 miscellaneous. And 5 alcohols, 3 hydrocarbons, 18 terpene hydrocarbons, 3 ketones and 2 miscellaneouses were identified in PDMS fiber. These results suggested that the selectivity of PDMS fiber was similar to that of CAR/PDMS fiber in Elsholtzia splendens. The major volatile compounds were naginataketone and elsholtziaketone in Elsholtzia splendens.

부분구조 기반 민감도 해석을 이용한 볼트겹합 구조물의 결합강성 추정 (Identification of Connection Stiffnesses of Bolted Structures Using a Substructural Sensitvitity Analysis)

  • The identification of connection stiffnesses of bolted structures is presented using FRT-based substructural sensitivity analysis. The substructural design sensitivity formula is derived and plugged into the optimization module of MATLAB to identify connection stiffnesses of an air-conditioner compressor or passenger Car. The air-conditioner composed of a compressor and a bracket, is analysed by using the FRT-based substructural(FBS) method to obtain FTRs an FE model is generated for the bracket, and the impact hammer test is performed for the compressor, Obtained FRTs are combined to calculate the reaction force at the connection point and the system response. By minimizing the difference between a target FRT and calculated one the connection element properties of the air-conditioner syste are identified It is shown that the proposed identification method is effective for a real problem.
