핸드폰용 스테레오 카메라에서의 입체시 인지 요소에 대한 연구 (Research of the human factors required to the stereoscopic camera system in cellular phone)

  • 최근, 핸드폰은 일상생활의 필수품이 되었다. 특히 카메라가 장착된 핸드폰은 개인홍보와 오락요소로의 대표적인 도구로 사용된다. 나아가 양안카메라가 적용된 핸드폰은 사용자에게 입체감을 전달할 것이며, 입체감은 보다 효과적인 개인홍보 및 오락성을 제공할 것이다. 핸드폰은 휴대가 용이하지만 제한된 표시소자의 크기 및 해상도로 인하여 입체시 구현 시 사용자에게 손실된 정보 및 낮은 임장감을 제공한다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 입체시 구현에 대한 구속조건들을 분석하고 핵심 요인을 산출하여, 핸드폰 환경에서의 최적의 입체시 구현을 위한 새로운 구속조건의 범위를 정량화하였다. 대표적인 구속조건으로는 수평, 수직 시차량이 고려되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 핸드폰용 양안카메라의 제작공차 및 효과적인 시차영상 제작을 위한 기준을 제시한다. 연구에 사용된 제품으로는 QVGA해상도(320*240) 및 2.8' 크기의 표시소자인 PDA폰이며, 입체시에 대한 구속조건을 정량화하기 위하여 수직, 수평이동이 가능한 지그를 사용하여 실험의 정확성을 높였다. 피실험자는 10명이며 남자 7명, 여자 3명으로 구성되었다.

  • As the various manufacturing technology of optical glass is developed, the aspherical lenses are applied to many fields. However, It is still very difficult to manufacture glass lens because of the high cost and the short life of core. In recent years, the demands of the aspherical glass lenses increase since it is difficult to obtain the desirable performance in the plastic lens. In the glass mold lens, it has merits of high productivity and reproductivity since lens is manufactured by the only forming with high precision mold. The fabricating conditions for glass mold lens are glass surface that does not cause fusion, viscosity of 108-1013 poise for the $0.2{\mu}m$ accuracy, and viscoelasticity for the roughness less than 100 angstrom. In this thesis, ultra-precision grinding characteristics of tungsten carbide for forming the aspherical glass lens core were studied and the result of it is applied to manufacture the tungsten carbide-base core of the glass lens used to the laser scanning unit and the camera phone.

스테인레스 강판의 가공특성과 성형성에 관한 고찰 (Review of Formability and Forming Property for Stainless Steel)

  • Because of its rustproof property, stainless steel is widely used in kitchen appliances, building materials, electronics, chemical plants and automobile exhausts. In addition, the utilization of stainless steel for fuel cell application is growing. As the demand for this material increases, it is necessary to study the basic properties of stainless steel such as corrosion resistance, heat transfer, formability, cutting or shearing ability and weldability. In this article, the mechanical properties, formability and press forming performance of stainless steel are reviewed. Since temperature and strain rate affect the press forming performance of STS304(austenitic) stainless steel, the influence of these parameters on the plastic behavior should be investigated. Moreover, measures for the prevention of ridging of STS430(ferritic) and delayed fracture of STS430, which respectively appear during and after press forming, should be considered. Recently, stainless steel sheets with a thickness lower than 0.2 mm have been widely used in applications for mobile phone, digital camera and fuel cell separator. Therefore, there is a growing interest of studying the grain size effect and plasticity at the crystal scale in order to understand the anisotropic behavior and micro forming ability of thin sheets. This review paper was written with the objective of helping engineers and researchers to understand the forming characteristics of stainless steel and to establish standards in plastic forming techniques.

카메라폰용 슬림형 액츄에이터 설계 (Design of a slim piezoelectric actuator for mobile phone camera)

  • In this paper, a slim type actuator is proposed rising a bimorph PZT and a circular rotor link. The bimorph contacts the circular rotor, and its displacement generates the rotational motion of the rotor. The rotor causes the linear motion of AF and zoom lens through gear and a motion guide. The proposed model enables the actuations of many lens groups for zoom module by extending the single lens model. The important design parameter is the contact force determined by the frictional coefficient and preload between the rotor and PZT bimorph. A prototype of the single actuator model is manufactured and experiments results using LDV and tachometer are compared to the theoretical and numerical predictions. Experiments show the linear bimorph actuator model meets the performance criteria of the lens actuation, and it can be applicable to various slim type actuators for AF and zoom motions in mobile cameras.

  • In this paper, the pattern of extracting the same expression is proposed by using the Android intelligent device to identify the facial expression. The understanding and expression of expression are very important to human computer interaction, and the technology to identify human expressions is very popular. Instead of searching for the emoticons that users often use, you can identify facial expressions with acamera, which is a useful technique that can be used now. This thesis puts forward the technology of the third data is available on the website of the set, use the content to improve the infrastructure of the facial expression recognition accuracy, in order to improve the synthesis of neural network algorithm, making the facial expression recognition model, the user's facial expressions and similar e xpressions, reached 66%.It doesn't need to search for emoticons. If you use the camera to recognize the expression, itwill appear emoticons immediately. So this service is the emoticons used when people send messages to others, and it can feel a lot of convenience. In countless emoticons, there is no need to find emoticons, which is an increasing trend in deep learning. So we need to use more suitable algorithm for expression recognition, and then improve accuracy.

  • 최근 LED 어레이와 카메라간의 통신 (일명, 'Visual-MIMO') 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 차량 및 스마트폰 등으로의 응용이 극대화될 것으로 기대된다. 본 논문에서는 수신 영상의 휘도 정보를 이용하여 Visual-MIMO 시스템의 BER(Bit Error Rate) 성능을 개선하고자 한다. 특히 심벌간간섭 (ISI: Inter-Symbol-Interference)에 의한 오류를 최소화하고자 오류정정 방법을 제안한다. 잡음과 거리의 변화에 따른 성능 분석은 시뮬레이션과 하드웨어 실험을 통해 타당성을 검증한다.

  • This paper describes the development of a small lens molding system for manufacturing the small lens like lens of a cellular phone, a small digital camera and so on. In order to manufacture a small lens, firstly, the raw material for lens with spherical shape should be manufactured by processing a glass, secondly, the mold inserted the raw material for lens should be heated till its molding temperature in the electric furnace, finally, the small lens is manufactured by applying the force using pressuring control system. In this paper, the small lens molding system with the function of force control and velocity control was developed. It is composed of a electric furnace and its temperature control system, a pressuring control system, a body, and so on. The temperature characteristic test of the electric furnace, and the force and velocity characteristic test of the pressuring control system were carried out. It was confirmed that the developed system had good functions for manufacturing a small lens.

스마트폰 가속도계를 이용한 점프동작 자동인식 촬영 (Taking a Jump Motion Picture Automatically by using Accelerometer of Smart Phones)

  • 본 논문에서는 자동으로 점프 동작을 인식하여 촬영하기 위한 점프 동작 인식 알고리즘을 제안하고, 가속도계가 장착된 스마트폰을 이용하여 촬영 시스템을 구현한다. 점프 동작은 개인의 신체적, 성별, 연령별 특성에 따라 다르기 때문에, 이들 특성에 비 의존적인 공통점을 감지할 수 있는 방법이 중요하다. 또한 점프 동작의 지속시간을 고려할 때 감지 알고리즘의 실시간 동작 가능성도 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 고려한 두 가지 알고리즘을 제안하며, 이들을 스마트폰 어플리케이션으로 구현하여 촬영 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과 점프 동작 감지와 도약 동작을 포착한 사진 촬영이 가능하였다.
