When trains run over a snow-covered track at high speed, the snow accereted under car bodies may drop during train running. The dropped snow/ice lumps scatter the ballast on the track damaging the car body and the environment along the track in snowy regions. In this study, the snow-fall condition in winter around the Seoul-Busan high-speed line has been investigated to yield the countermeasure for the high-speed line. The climate near Japanese and French high-speed line as well as the relationship between the climate and countermeasure has also been investigated and the direction of countermeasure for Seoul-Busan high-speed line has been deduced. Consequently, the amount and frequency of snow-fall near Seoul-Busan high-speed line is less than that of Japan and France, so the speed restriction could be the fundamental countermeasure for Seoul-Busan high-speed line, and additional measure on rolling stock and infrastructure should be followed.

Novel photoluminescent graphene, graphene/europium/picolinate, was made from the reaction of the graphene carboxylate, europium(III) and $\alpha$-pyridoin anion in methanol solution. There was evidence on IR spectroscopic data that europium metal was coordinated by graphene carboxylate. The graphene/europium/picolinate materials emitted the red luminescence with main peaks at 609 and 695 nm, when solid sample was excited by an UV light at the wavelength of 254 nm. The surface morphology and physical properties of the graphene/europium/picolinate product have been investigated by IR, PL, SEM, TEM and TGA measurements.

Malocclusion can be often found after improper reduction of facial bone fractures, especially by the plastic surgeon or other medical doctor. This causes lots of problem in esthetics, mastication, or facial symmetry. We present four cases which are related above problems. These were well treated by orthognathic surgery or orthodontic treatment.

We are in an era of global business called one world market. These environments require Korean firms to face an unlimited competition and to resolve their dispute by ADR. Few study, however, on the ways of dispute settlement under the changed international business environment has been done. Thus the major purposes of this study are to investigate Busan's trading companies' preference on the dispute resolution ways. Based on the results of my study, I suggest Busan's trading companies the following guidelines. First, Busan's trading companies should improve their negotiating power by using internet trade and problem solving ability through the establishment of claim information system. Second, They should write contract. Lastly, they should investigate their counterparty's credit.

This study investigates the concentration sudden rise in fine particle according to resuspended dust from paved roads after sudden heavy rain in Busan on August 25, 2015. The localized torrential rainfall in Busan area occurred as tropical airmass flow from the south and polar airmass flow from north merged. Orographic effect of Mt. Geumjeong enforced rainfall and it amounted to maximum 80 mm/hr at Dongrae and Geumjeong region in Busan. This heavy rain induced flood and landslide in Busan and the nearby areas. The sudden heavy rain moved soil and gravel from mountainous region, which deposited on paved roads and near roadside. These matters on road suspended by an automobile transit, and increased fine particle concentration of air. In addition outdoor fine particle of high concentration flowed in indoor by shoes, cloths and air circulation.

This paper discusses the strategies for the future qf the Hong Kong Port and Buasn Port. We assess whether they prepare the ports for the position of being the logistics hub, and as such could assist the ports to maintain their position in the world's container port. We reviewed both the current situation qf the Hong Kong Port and the strategy of the port for the future (Master Plan 2020) to keep the status of logistics hub. With the case study on the Port of Hong Kong, this study attempts to examine what the strategic planning is needed for the Busan Port. We debate the Port of Busan could be seen as a logistics chain for the future. In our discussion, the strategic planning on "Port Vision 2020" for Port of Busan does not address the issues regarding this part, nor does it make any recommendations in terms of the requirement of the logistics private sector.

Microtube-like porous carbon (MPC) and tube-like porous carbon-sulfur (MPC-S) composites were synthesized by carbonizing milkweed pappus with sulfur, and they were used as cathodes for lithium-sulfur batteries. The morphology and uniformity of these materials were characterized using X-ray powder diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy with an energy-dispersive X-ray analyzer, thermogravimetric analysis, and X-ray photoelectron spectrometry. The electrochemical performance of the MPC-S cathodes was measured using the charge/discharge cycling performance, C rate, and AC impedance. The composite cathodes with 93.8 wt.% sulfur exhibited a stable specific capacity of 743 mAh g^-1 after 200 cycles at a 0.5 C.

Hemangioma of the heart, presenting as a primary cardiac tumor is extremely rare; it accounts for approximately 2% of all primary resected heart tumors. In our patient, the tumor was located in the orifice of the right lower pulmonary vein. Few cases of cardiac hemangiomas have been reported to arise from the left atrial (LA) wall. Left atrial hemangiomas, especially those attached to the LA wall, may be erroneously diagnosed as myxomas. Cardiac hemangioma is a rare disease; furthermore, a tumor arising from the LA wall and misconceived as a myxoma is extremely rare. We removed a mass misdiagnosed as a myxoma; it was pathologically confirmed to be a cardiac capillary hemangioma. Therefore, we report a rare case of a cardiac hemangioma misconceived as a myxoma; the tumor was removed successfully.

Recently, we encountered a man with isolated bilateral sixth nerve palsies and areflexia whose titer of anti-GQ1b IgG antibody was elevated. We propose that bilateral sixth nerve palsies can be the sole manifestation of "anti-GQ1b antibody syndromes" and that patients with isolated bilateral sixth nerve palsies should be administered an anti-GQ1b antibody test for the diagnosis of acute immune-related neuropathy.
