This paper designs and implements wire/wireless web service system based on SOAP for price comparison dynamically using web service technoloies in real time. This web service system composes web service client module including functions of product search, product sort, product order and UDDI retrieval browser, and server module including functions of remote procedure call for product search/order and functions of UDDI publish browser, and mobile client module supporting functions for product search/order in wireless environments. This web service system can exchange product information based on SOAP messages and support independence of platform and flexible portability in environment conforming to SOAP, WSDL and UDDI standards.

Performance of a video browser greatly depends on the performance of scene change detection for the efficient retrieval and storage of the video contents which are major data in a current contents management system. In this paper we propose a new scene change detection method using Mean Difference Histogram of each frame section which improves accuracy of scene change detection as well as reduces the frequency of miss detection and fault detection of gradual scene change which is one of critical problem of the conventional histogram-based techniques.

Since simple and convenient user interface, the Web is diffused widely. For integrating Web as a view of user interface and CORBA, CORBA object is made in applet, which is sent to Web browser in Client and executes by Web browser. To use CORBA Event Service in Web without violating a security constrains of applet, we need a interoperability of Event Service. This paper investigates interoperability of event channels of the event service of CORBA. We present three different methods that make one event channel. Pros and cons of each method are described. All mentioned approaches have been implemented in Java. An experimental performance evaluation has been carried out and evaluation results are also given.

In this paper, we propose modeling method for video data that represents structural and semantic contents of video data efficiently. Also, a browsing method that helps users easily understand and play the contents of video data is presented. The proposed modeling scheme consists of three layers such as raw data layer, content layer and key frame layer The content layer represents logical hierarchy and semantic contents of video data. We implement two kinds of browsers for playing video data and providing video contents. The playing browser plays video data and Presents the information of currently playing shot. The content browser allows users to browse raw data, structural information and semantic contents of video data.

This paper presents an integrated solution for the content-based news video indexing and the retrieval. Currently, it is impossible to automatically index a general video, but we can index a specific structural video such as news videos. Our proposed model extracts automatically the key frames by using the structured knowledge of news and consists of the news item segmentation, caption recognition and search browser modules. We present above three modules in the following: the news event segmentation module recognizes an anchor-person shot based on face recognition, and then its news event are divided by the anchor-person's frame information. The caption recognition module detects the caption-frames with the caption characteristics, extracts their character region by the using split-merge method, and then recognizes characters with OCR software. Finally, the search browser module could make a various of searching mechanism possible.

컴퓨터를 이용한 협동작업은 공간적으로 분산되어 있는 여러 작업자들이 동기적 EH는 비동기적으로 협력할 수 있게 함으로써 보다 신속하고 정확하게 작업을 진행할 수 있게 한다. 최근의 협동작업 분야의 급속한 발전은 이제 더 이상 웹 상에서의 협동작업 도구를 메일, 채팅, 화이트보드, 화상회의 등에 한정하지 않고 웹 응용 프로그램들을 협동작업 도구에 포함시키기에 이르렀다. 본 논문에서는 공간적으로 분산되어 있는 여러 작업자들이 상용 웹 브라우저를 이용하여 웹 문서와 웹 데이터베이스 내용을 공유함으로써 보다 효율적인 협동작업을 할 수 있는 시스템을 소개한다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 시스템은 주소 동기화(URL Synchronization), 스크롤 동기화(Scroll Synchronization) 및 윈도우 크기 동기화(Window Size Synchronization) 기능을 제공하여 사용자들이 서로 다른 터미널에서 웹 브라우저를 동기적으로 이용할 수 있게 한다. 주소 동기화는 인터넷 브라우징의 이동과 방향을 동기적으로 제어해주고, 폼 동기화는 웹 페이지 입력을 실시간으로 보여준다. 스크롤 동기화는 웹 페이지의 스크롤을 동기적으로 제어하여 웹 브라우저의 출력 내용이 길어질 경우에도 문서 안의 같은 부분을 공유 할 수 있게 하며 윈도우 크기 동기화는 윈도우의 길이와 넓이를 맞춰준다.

Recently, distribution of malicious codes using the Internet has been one of the most serious cyber threats. Technology of malicious code distribution with detection bypass techniques has been also developing and the research has focused on how to detect and analyze them. However, obfuscated malicious JavaScript is almost impossible to detect, because the existing malicious code distributed web page detection system is based on signature and another limitation is that it requires constant updates of the detection patterns. We propose to overcome these limitations by means of an intelligent malicious code distributed web page detection system using a real browser that can analyze and detect intelligent malicious code distributed web sites effectively.

In this paper, we have developed the application of a remote multi-lingual video guide that allows interaction with Set Top Box of a thin client by using the WebRTC, an web browser-based communication method. A server accesses a web camera in conjunction with digital information display of a thin client connected remotely and is exchanged guide information with user. This server can be played in thin client STB using virtualization based the high-quality video compression technology. Further, it is not dependent on the performance of the STB and provides a video guide remotely.

Nowadays, all over the world's banks use internet banking through various authentication methods. Although there are strong authentication methods using OTP (One Time Password), there still has vulnerability from sophisticated attacks such as MITM (Man In The Middle). This letter proposes signing-based authentication protocol that copes with attacks, such as MITB (Man In The Browser), and provides non-repudiation function. The protocol shows generic method to prevent the sophisticated attacks through connecting advantages from OTP and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificate, and that can be deployed to various extended form in internet banking.

The aim of this research was performance of Web-based real time DGPS using MS visual basic 6.0 Active X control. This system supported the navigation of rover by transmitting the DGPS correction information of base station via internet and monitored the moving of rover by displaying the corrected results received from rover as well as permitting Web users monitoring for rover. The Web-based DGPS server and the client system using MS visual basic 6.0 Active X control for DGPS displayed on Web-browser with the pre analysis was constructed and the system loading test via Web-browser was performed after debugging this system through the static GPS test and publishing it on Web. Also, the wireless internet DGPS test on Web by changing the distance between a base station and a rover was carried out. As the result of the test, the real time DGPS could be performed by transmitting the correction message which calculated from the server system to the client system continually. The rover could be managed by displaying the location information which received from the client system. Other users also could monitor the rover by connecting with this system via internet in real time.
