Thermal System Analysis for Optimization of Torch Position in The Core Making Machine. (중자조형기의 토치위치 최적화를 위한 열계해석)

  • The new core making method economized on core sand requested. The new method is heating core box until it reaches reasonable temperature and then spraying core sand with core binder into core box. Inner temperature distribution have to uniform in order to form core of uniform thickness. Therefore, in this study we treat of inner temperature distribution of core box in priority. First, determine proper torch number. Next, optimize the torch position to minimize the average of absolute deviation(AVEDEV) of inner temperature. The results are as followed : 1. The torch number that makes inner temperature distribution about $300^\circ{C}$ uniformly is 25. 2. When $S_H$ and $S_V$ is 0.7, the torch position is optimized and AVEDEV is 5.85.

  • The purpose of this study was to establish the accuracy of the industral photogrammetry system constructed with INCA2 metric camera and V-STARS system on steel box girder measurement under industrial measurement condition. The objective of the measurement was to determine the distances of plane to plane or plane to libs, precise positions of the bolt holes and angles of the plane to plane on the steel box girder using coded targets, tape targets, edge targets and target adapters. The measurement undertaken has shown that industrial photogrammetry method were a very accurate and more importantly were produced quietly to measure the steel box girder.

  • 본 논문은 마그네틱 센서 기반의 오브젝트 추적 기술을 이용한 혼합현실 선거 방송 시스템을 제안한다. 마커 기반의 증강현실 기술은 방송환경에서는 강한 조명으로 인하여 마커의 특징점 추출의 간섭 및 소실로 추적이 끊기는 문제가 있다. 특히, 선거방송와 같은 생방송 중에 그래픽이 튀거나 사라지는 것은 방송 사고와 다름없다. 따라서, 우리는 조명이나 가림의 영향 없이 추적 성능을 강인하게 하기 위해서, 무선의 마그네틱 센서를 내장한 별도로 제작한 투표함 모형을 추적하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 마그네틱 센서를 내장한 실물 투표함을 실시간으로 추적하게 하고, 그 정보를 증강현실 방송 시스템과 통합한 시스템 구성 및 그것을 이용한 증강현실 선거 방송 어플리케이션을 보여준다. 그 결과, 연기자가 선거정보그래픽과 연동하는 투표함을 자유롭고 직관적으로 움직일 수 있었으며, 자연스러운 증강현실 합성 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • The reuse of software components from existing software system enhances productivity and reliability, decreases the cost of production in software development. The extraction of software components with high reusability from existing software system is very important in software reuse. The reuse of a class is classified into white-box reuse to reuse with modification and black-box reuse to reuse without modification. A class has the property of procedural language and object-oriented language. Therefore, it must measure reusability in consideration of two properties. In black-box reuse, independence of class is important quality. It can quantify through information hiding, coupling between objects, cohesion, etc. In white-box reuse, modification is the best important quality. It can quality through class complexity, coupling, cohesion, documentation, etc. We propose a new model for measurement of class reusability and the measure criteria in object-oriented program. A class that is measured by proposed model can judge whether the reuse with modification has the advantage or the reuse without modification has the advantage.

  • Planetary gear box is a power transmitter having very high gear ratio in compact volume. The planetary step-down gear box converts high speed and low torque into low speed and high torque, which is widely used in constructional and industrial machinery field. And, the planetary step-up gear box does vice versa working, which is used as main gear box of large sized wind mill system. The large sized planetary gear box must be performed the normal-opposite rotation test as a its durability test for achieving the reliability. The large sized planetary gear box is composed by triple gear trains of sun gear, carrier, and ring gear. If input power is supplied into one of them and the other is fixed, and then another becomes the output part. In this paper, we designed a new test equipment which can do rapid normal and opposite rotational change with only small displacement by supplying test power using the above rotation (driving) characteristics and hydraulic cylinder and link, and also compared and analyzed with existing method through various experiments.

An Investigation of Environmental Performance on Shaft Box Type Balcony Adopted to Apartment Building (공동주택에 적용된 Shaft Box형 발코니의 환경성능 검토)

  • This study focus on shaft box facade, special form of box window construction. It consists of a system of box window with continuous vertical shafts that extend over a number of stories to create a stack effect. The subject building was decided by analyzing various types of exiting apartments. Shaft box type balcony was devised by setting up shaft space at a part of balcony. Air flow and indoor air temperature were simulated, performance of shaft box type balcony was compared with existing types using VE computer simulation program. Research consequence can be summarized as follow: 1) In the case of existing types, the change of window opening rate has only a little effect on the improvement of indoor temperature. But, air flow rate increased two times in the case that changed opening rate 20% to 40% 2) In the case of existing types, the growth of air flow rate has little effect on the improvement of indoor temperature. But, shaft box type represented the remarkable effect on the improvement of indoor temperature as well as the growth of air flow rate.

Changes of the Physical Properties of Corrugated Fiberboard Boxes for Fruit and Vegetable Packaging by Preservation Temperature and Relative Humidity (과채류 포장용 골판지 상자의 저장온도와 습도에 따른 물리적 특성 변화)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the effects of preservation temperature and relative humidity to the physical properties of corrugated fiberboard boxes for fruit and vegetable packaging. The preservation temperature did not affect severely to physical properties of corrugated fiber-board. Relative humidity was a major cause of corrugated fiberboard box quality deterioration. The burst and compressive strengths of experimental boxes measured with Mullen high pressure tester and tong crush tester were decreased gradually as relative humidity increased from 55% to 75%. But, the strength properties slightly decreased relative humidity at 75% or higher. This tendency was the greater for single wall (SW) corrugated fiberboard box than that for double wall (DW). It is suggested that development of the water-resistant corrugated fiberboard and box be needed that can be used under the condition of low temperature and high moisture content, which are being employed in the cold chain system.

Strength Changes of Corrugated Fiberboard Boxes for Fruits Packaging by Relative Humidity Temperature (과실포장용 골판지 상자의 온습도에 따른 강도 변화)

  • This study was carried out to analyze changes of the physical properties of corrugated fiberboard boxes for fruits packaging by various moisture and temperature changes. There were significant decrease in burst strength with increased relative humidity. And also compressive strength(ring crush test) of corrugated fiberboard and box were reduced with moisture content. The decreasing amounts of single wall(SW) corrugated fiberboard was bigger than that of double wall(DW). The physical properties reductions of corrugated fiberboard and box were mainly affected by relative humidity. Therefore, it is suggested that development of the water-resistant corrugated fiberboard and box be useful under the condition of low temperature and high relative humidity such as the cold chain system.

  • In this study, the secure Internet phone system using digital signature and data encryption with DES algorithm and EDE algorithm was implemented. And new key distribution algorithm was suggested utilizing the Diffie-bellman algorithm. For reducing processing time, a table combined with S-BOX and P-BOX of the DES was used. The proposed system was implemented with Java and the results showed the processing time using DES algorithm for encryption was 1.46 seconds and that of EDE algorithm was 3.25 seconds respectively. This system can be applied to Protect the copyright of sound products and data using internet.

  • It is still difficult to share and utilize the information generated at each phase of a steel box girder production process due to the spatial gap and different level of management information. The physical distance results in the inefficiency of the information transmission, the accidental omission and typos of the relative information, and so on. Various levels of management information make it difficult to embody a new management system. Eventually, these factors incur the loss of cost and schedule and interrupt development of a new management system. This paper analyzes a current process and presents graphical process flow by using IDEF0. Based this analysis, the research for new production process and work breakdown structure (WBS) is conducted. At the end of this paper, the conceptual design of this system is suggested. Through new management system, it is expected that the model proposed in this study will improve the management process in the steel box production, and the improved process will reduce the redundant cost and schedule information, transmission and deposit generated by manual paper.
