International book fairs are business enterprise to promote and facilitate international trade of copyright. National reading improvement policies, on the other hand, are supposed to be made to maximize the role of national and regional libraries, not just to boost publication industry. However, Korean government authorities of the reading improvement policies and the Organizing Committee of the Seoul International Book Fair have mapped out and, in effect, carried out their plans as if reading improvement policies are closely related to hosting international book fairs. It is important to realize that hosting book fair has pecuniary motives while making policies for reading improvement must be feared toward the betterment of the general public by reading. In this respect, this study has attempted to point out the problems of the Seoul International Book Fair that are regarded as to relate to reading improvement.

1. Objectives This study is written to investigate the biblographical facts on the book ${\ulcorner}$ Geumge Bibang${\lrcorner}$(Secret Prescriptions of Sasang (Golden Box). 2. Methods The Biblographical study through chronological research of several books concerning Sasang Constitutional Medicine including ${\ulcorner}$Dongyisusebowon${\lrcorner}$,${\ulcorner}$Dongyisasangjintyoeuijeon${\lrcorner}$after Dr. Lee Je-Ma's death was accomplished. 3. Results and Conclusions There are so many herb medicines using just one herb drug not several herb drugs according to many diseases in this book. Accrording to the writer of this book, Lee Min- Bong, JUSt one herb drug to each disease was a useful way to treat that disease in a poor countryside life. There are 85 adult's diseases, 8 women's diseases, 47 children's disease, 11 smallpox's diseases and 30 grotesque diseases. This book of ${\ulcorner}$Geumgebibang${\lrcorner}$ was written by Lee Minbong not by Cheondeoksanin in 1935 and published in 1936 and it was the first book covering the herb drug and diets to treat diseases according to Sasang Constitutional Types. It was first found in this book that Sasang could be explained with Yin- Yang relationship and Sasang Constitutional Types could be explained with characters like dragon, cow, donkey and horse, and with classrncatibn of faces and behaviors.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of picture book reading intervention activities on language development of low-income children. The subjects were 60 children in low-income families, aged 5, selected from 24 child care centers located in three cities nearby Seoul, South Korea. The experimental group had received intervention program for 8 weeks, two days a week, and three teachers conducted the intervention program for 30 to 40 minutes for each session. The intervention program was administered to the children with picture book reading activities in the first session, followed by providing more extensive activities in the second session. Afterwards, the study allowed the children to take one picture book to read at home. To evaluate the effect of the picture book reading intervention program, this study utilized instruments called the Preschool Receptive-Expressive Language Scale and the Concepts about Print. Significant differences found between the two groups. The experimental group showed higher scores compared with the control group in the post-test of expressive language development. Also, children in the experimental group showed a significant increase in the concepts about print after the intervention program was administered. In conclusion, findings indicate several changes in positive outcomes after implementation of the picture book reading intervention program.

Though the foodservice industry in Korea has developed in the aspect of quantity, it has left behind in the aspect of quality compared with other foreign countries. Previous researches has just indicated that the menu should be built through mutual consent between a menu planner and a menu-book designer without defining the concept of menu. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a theoretical basis about the menu-book, showing quality of the foodservice industry in Korea. First of all, a menu planner's understanding to the menu-book should be changed and also a menu designer should understand positively the foodservice industry. Therefore the utility of menu-book can be maximized as a communication and marketing method breaking from simplicity and aesthetic. Both food items and design have a common feature to explain emotion, history and culture of a people. Menu planner and menu-book designer should undertake a role of solving one of the most important human desire by distinction and creativity. And they should play a role as a cultural creator through designing the menu-book which can spread out traditional food culture to the world.

본 연구에서는 온라인 다중 사용자 환경의 eBook 어노테이션 시스템 개발에서 데이터를 의미 기반으로 관리하고, 데이터에 대하여 상호 공통적인 이해를 표현하며, 그리고 데이터에 대한 무결성 검사 등을 지원하기 위해서 eBook 어노테이션 온톨로지를 구축하였다. eBook 어노테이션 테이터에 대한 상호 공통적인 이해의 표현을 위해서 한국 전자책 문서 표준인 EBKS(Electronic Book of Korea Standard)를 기반으로 구축 하였으며 구축된 온톨로지는 Conceptual Graph(CG)를 사용하여 표현하였다. 의미 기반의 처리를 위해서 본 온톨로지에서는 다국어(Multilingua) 관계를 고려하였으며 또한 오노테이션 데이터 생성 시 중요도를 표현하기 위해서 중요성 axiom을 고려했고, $NF^2$(Non-First Normal Form)에 입각하여 온톨로지를 설계함으로서 어노테이션 데이터의 검색에 활용도를 높였다. 제안된 온톨로지는 어노테이션 데이터의 재사용성을 높일 수 있고 의미 정보를 활용함으로써 eLearning, cyberclass과 같은 다중 사용자 환경에서 효과적인 협업을 가능하게 한다. 본 연구에서는 구현한 eBook annotation 시스템은 구축한 온톨로지를 사용함으로써 의미 기반의 데이터 관리가 가능하다. 또한 어노테이션 생성 시 온톨로지 구조를 모르더라도 어노테이션을 생성할 수 있는 인터페이스를 구현하였다.

We propose a collaborative social tagging for eBook using external DSL approach. The goal of this paper is (1) to provide DSL by which authors can write HTML5 rich contents ebook and tag resources, (2) to make users enhance book by tagging resources easily, (3) to make readers read rich book easily regardless of their devices types, (4) to provide ebook resources of RESTful address style by which other system can identify self-descriptive resources of book. To achieve the goal, we provide Bukle DSL language by which author and users can author and enhance ebook with ease. As a domainspecific language Bukle provides a simple yet expressive language for authoring and tagging books that would otherwise be more difficult to express with a general purpose language. Further work includes visual DSL approach and tools by using that the unskilled users could tag book easily. In order that future work also includes text-to-visual DSL transform engine. UX research is also required to tag and to author book. To tackle the above questions we are looking at using visual notation focusing visual syntax.

발전하는 IT 기술은 사회, 문화, 교육 등 전 산업 분야에 많은 영향을 미치고 있으며, e-book 및 콘텐츠 시장은 여러 산업분야에서 주목받고 있는 중요한 기술개발분야 중에 한 부분이라고 할 수 있다. 하지만 현재까지 e-book의 경우 비 표준화 확장, 단 방향성 비 상호작용, 2차원적인 콘텐츠 사용 등 여러가지 한계적 사용에 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 WebGL 3D 콘텐츠를 이용한 인터렉티브 가상 시뮬레이션 e-book 협업 저작도구를 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 연구에서는 표준화된 HTML5 기술과 IDPF에서 제안된 EPUB3를 통해 기존의 e-book 활용의 한계점들을 극복하고, WebGL 웹 표준 기술을 적용하여 인터렉티브 가상 시뮬레이션 사용이 가능한 전자책 그래픽 요소를 구현 하였다. 향후 본 연구를 통해 표준화된 e-book 콘텐츠 시장의 활성화와 효율적인 교육 도구의 발전을 기대한다.

Three important books in the oriental medicine are Huangjenaekyung (medical book), Sanghanron (pharmacological book) and Shinnongbonchokyung (herbal book). Chang, joong-kyung who is the writer of Sanghanron would be recommended as a saint physician and his book, Sanghanron is granted for a best book in this field by Chinese people. Also, Japanese physicians would estimate Sanghanron as the most magnificent book ever written by a human being. Sanghanron contains a lot of confirmations (證) of diseases, their progressing courses and exact therapeutic ways. Therefore modern physicians and pharmacists who are interested in the oriental medicine might study and practice more scientific approach of therapy for patients. The aim of this bibliographical study on Sanghanron is to explain systematically theories of this book and harmonize them with the modern medicinal study: In this study we have acquired three main results, the first is that we could get the coincidence between western & oriental way on the five therapeutic principles-sweating, vomiting, harmonizing, excreting and bleeding : the second, notice the exclusion of the Five Element Theory(the fundamental one in oriental medicine) and the third, found out the possibility of the immunological and neuroscientific explanation for pharmacological application to the oriental medicine.

This study aims to investigate factors affecting eBook acceptance and learning outcomes among students experiencing online distance learning. As conventional textbooks are now switched into eBooks, the effects of contextual factors including lecturer, student computer competency, content and design of the course, access ability, infrastructure, and university support on eBook acceptance and learning outcome needs to be evaluated. The sample of this study is represented by students at the Universiti Teknologi MARA, City Campus Melaka, undertaking 'strategic management course'. Non-probability random sampling was selected as the sampling technique and a purposive sampling method was chosen to select the samples. The samples comprised 171 students randomly selected through Google Form. The questionnaire data was analyzed by using PLS-SEM. The results indicated that these factors contributed 62.3% variations in the eBook acceptance and 67.1% variations in the learning outcomes. The strongest factor affecting both dependent variables was content and design of course. Managerial implication suggested that the content for all courses taught through the eBook platform needs to be revisited and improved in accordance with the mode of online deliverance. Tutorial on how to navigate the eBook platform is important to all users as this would enhance acceptance and produce better learning outcomes among students.

The research of combining virtual reality technology with the design elements of children's picture book education is a relatively new topic in virtual reality technology in recent years. Based on the combination of picture book design elements with virtual reality technology and the development of a children's picture book teaching game, this article analyzes the effectiveness of the application of virtual reality technology in children's teaching, and explores the usability of picture book design elements in teaching [1]. Through literature research methods, practical research methods and investigation research methods, this paper lucubrates the application of virtual reality technology in the design elements of children's picture book education so as to provide adequate theoretical and practical support for the research theme. The spatial positioning, vision, sound, and functional requirements of children's picture book games play a leading role in teaching. Practical statistics have proved that it is easier to promote children's mastery of teaching knowledge in a virtual environment. Moreover, use VR's game management function and setting function to solve the boringness of traditional education methods and the limitations of the teaching environment. The feasibility of game operation provides a virtual teaching platform system for children's education, and the teaching effect is remarkable.
