  • Our lives are more convenient by development of smart phones recently, and users want to use it also increased rapidly. But being released by a variety of such applications, the smart phones features include built-in limitations, so appcessories that combines mobile handsets and accessory is attracting attention. In this paper, we design and implement Remote Control Appcessories using Bluetooth communication, and by applying it to the infant car system, we verify the robustness of mobile terminals and system hardware, and ease of use.

  • As interest in IoT has increased recently, services using IoT devices and smart phones have been applied to various industries. Among them, the electronic attendance system has been built and serviced by various institutions, but There is a problem that the user recognition is not accurate yet. In this paper, we propose a context recognition based user recognition method that can improve the accuracy of user recognition part in a system based on BLE beacon among existing electronic attendance systems.

  • 본 논문에서 제안하는 시각장애인용 스마트장갑은 시각장애인들이 지팡이를 사용할 때 발생하는 불필요한 접촉을 방지하고, 초음파센서를 이용해 전방의 장애물을 탐지하여 서보모터를 이용해 손등을 두드려 장애물의 유무를 알려준다. 또한 손가락에 있는 정전식 근접 터치 모듈은 손가락끼리 접촉하였을 때 블루투스로 연결된 스마트폰의 특정 어플리케이션을 실행하여 길을 잃거나 긴급 상황이 발생 했을 때 시각장애인도 불편함 없이 문자나 전화를 이용할 수 있도록 고안하였다.

  • 4차 산업혁명 시대의 도래에 따라 다양한 사물들과 연결되어 새로운 서비스를 제공하는 사물인터넷 기술이 각광받고 있으며, 실생활에 적용하기 위한 연구들이 지속적으로 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 도서관의 좌석과 좌석에 설치된 조명을 자동으로 관리 및 제어하기 위한 사물인터넷 기술 기반의 스마트 도서관 자동화 모델을 제시한다. 제시된 모델은 좌석과 조명을 자동으로 관리하기 위한 아두이노 보드, 사용자 인터페이스 제공을 위한 모바일 웹 서버, 좌석 상태 관리를 위한 데이터베이스 서버, 그리고 구성요소 간 연동을 위한 게이트웨이로 구성된다. 좌석에 부착된 압력 센서로부터 압력을 감지하여 좌석의 점유 및 비점유 상태를 판단하고, 판단 결과에 따라 조명을 제어하며 사용자에게 잔여 좌석 정보를 제공한다. 이를 통해 사용자에게는 편리함을 제공해주는 것과 동시에 에너지 효율을 극대화하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, smart door-lock system to access public facilities will be proposed. An existed door-lock system using physical door-lock, NFC Tag, and RFID could be replaced by our proposed system. Automatic access control management system with security authentication module enables the worker to access public facilities efficiently.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 OMR 시스템에서 검침원의 이동에 따른 검침방법의 비효율성과 PDA를 이용한 비용적, 시간적 문제를 해결하고자 새로운 OMR 시스템을 제안하고 RF Modem 과 Bluetooth Module을 접목한 Smart OMR Device를 구현하였다. 시스템의 효율성을 검증하기 위하여 기존의 OMR 시스템과 비교하여 Response Time 및 Energy Consumption에 대해 제안시스템의 성능 및 우수성을 입증하였다.

  • Due to technological developments and the joint effect of both new social and economic needs and constraints, telemedicine is expanding rapidly through a variety of applications. Especially, owing to the rapid aging of society and increasing the wish for well being life, we take interest in health care services for people with special needs who wish to remain independent and living in their own home. We have focused on tole-monitoring to real-time medical signal and environment factor which is an influence on medical signal. We monitor the six signal(medical signal and environment factor), and transmit that signal to computer on bluetooth network. We get the information after using the some digital signal processing system, and display that information on the real-time monitoring system. We developed the measurer as portable type in older to non-restrained monitor.

  • In recent years, internet of things (IoT) technology has developed rapidly and has been applied in many fields. IoT devices collect and analyze information in various environments and provide useful information to users. Due to the recent increase in IoT devices, many open source platforms based on hardware and software that are cheap and easy to use have been developed and provided. In this paper, we have studied the IoT system based on Arduino which can communicate Bluetooth wireless data with smart phone in real time. And we have developed a wireless system control app based on App Invertor 2 for communication with Android smart phone. Also, we propose an IoT system based on Arduino which can control the devices and implement the function of connectivity between devices.

  • Recently increasing usage of smartphones makes the Internet of Things (IoT) a leading technology that can collect and share data through sensor networks and wireless communication such as low-power Bluetooth (BLE). BLE-based application can provide operators more precise information on Automatic Door system by remotely diagnosing the system faults through wireless sensor networks and sensors around the Automatic Door. In this paper, a smart device with extended BLE module is implemented which can monitor and Control the system states and faults remotely without on-site diagnostic. while maintaining system integrity so that increase efficiency of time and costs for system management. We can use the results of this research as a basis in evaluating reliability of data between devices, extending communication module in Controller of obsolete Door systems, and establishing centralized monitoring systems in near future with multi-channel Door Controls.

A Subway Arrival Notification System Using iBeacon (iBeacon을 이용한 지하철 도착 알림 시스템)

  • Concurrent with the more widespread usage of smart devices, mobile users' desires are becoming much more complex. Most IT experts insist that smart devices should have additional functions to satisfy these requirements. In particular, research has concentrated on LBS (Locationbased Service), because it is considered one of the most common mobile service types. Generally, Wi-Fi has a critical limitation for use for LBS services, because it requires new network connection points whenever its location (Network Zone) changes. Unfortunately, GPS also has a systematic problem in providing LBS service in the indoor environment, because of its inaccuracy in processing data. So, to redress these limitations, iBeacon technology has been designed, and is currently used for LBS service instead of Wi-Fi or GPS. By using iBeacon, which is based on Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology, we propose a M-SAS (Mobile-Subway-Alarm-Service System) that could accurately and timely provide its users with various mLBS (micro LBS) services, such as current user location, and subway arrival time.
