Red pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) is one of the most consumed vegetable worldwide. In this study, we tried to suggest the possibility of Cheongyang pepper as a functional cosmetic material by identifying the physiological activity, especially antioxidant and whitening effects of Cheongyang pepper through bibliometric analysis and experimental studies. A bibliometric analysis was performed through co-word analysis of 8,892 papers retrieved from SCOPUS. 4 research fields were obtained by cluster mapping from VOSviewer software, among which we noted the antioxidant activity of extracts from Capsicum annum L.. Phenol as a useful ingredient of Cheongyang pepper was analyzed using HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography). Antioxidant and whitening effects were evaluated by measuring DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging activity, hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity, and tyrosinase inhibitory activity. Cheongyang pepper extract showed contents of 0.106 ± 0.01 and 0.105 ± 0.02 mg/g, respectively, in the order of gallic acid and protocatechuic acid. The extract exhibited 56.95% DPPH scavenging activity and 43.97% hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity at a concentration of 1,000 ㎍/ml. In addition, 1,000 ㎍/ml of the extract inhibited tyrosinase activity by 52.44% and 42.61%, respectively in a whitening efficacy test using L-tyrosine and L-DOPA (L-3,4- dihydroxyphenylalanine) as substrates. These results suggest that Cheongyang pepper extract and its active ingredients have antioxidant and whitening effects, and the possibility of future development as a whitening functional cosmetic material.

Purpose : This study aimed to analyze research trends in the field of integrative medicine through a bibliometric analysis of articles published in Integrative Medicine Research (IMR) journal from 2017 to 2022. Methods : Articles published in IMR journal between 2017 and 2022 were searched using the Web of Science database on August 22, 2023. The analysis was performed using the Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny tools in R (version 4.3.1) and VOSviewer (version 1.6.19). Results : The key findings were as follows: average citations per article (9.41), total authors (1,142), single-authored articles (12), average articles per author (0.27), average co-authors per article (5.27), and rate of international co-authorships (15.69 %). The most-cited article was on the cryopreservation of cells or tissues and their clinical applications. The top keyword analysis by author keywords showed that "acupuncture" was the most frequently used keyword (33 times). Co-occurrence network analysis showed 85 high-frequency keywords that appeared five or more times, and the top five keywords by total link strength were "acupuncture," "herbal medicine," "prevalence," "alternative medicine," and "complementary." The study found that, contrary to the trend in complementary and alternative medicine research in Korea, the IMR journal actively conducts intervention studies to provide clinical evidence. Conclusion : In the IMR journal, "acupuncture" was the most frequent of author keywords. The analysis of keyword trend topics over time showed that the keyword "systematic review" continued to appear from 2020 to 2022, and the keyword "clinical practice guideline" appeared for the first time in 2021. In particular, the co-occurrence network analysis highlighted keywords related to intervention research, in contrast to domestic research trends. While this study analyzed only one journal, future studies expanding the category of integrative medicine and increasing the number of journals analyzed may provide further insights.

본 논문은 정보과학 분야를 중심으로 학술대회 논문에서 참고자료를 인용하는 패턴을 분석하고 피인용된 참고자료의 다양한 특성이 추후 그 자료를 참고한 학술대회 논문의 인용수에 어떤 영향을 끼치는지 분석하였다. 참고자료의 인용패턴에 관한 계량서지학 연구는 학술지 논문을 중심으로 활발히 이루어졌다. 하지만 점점 커지는 중요성에도 학술대회 논문을 대상으로 한 계량서지학 연구는 그 자체가 아직 초기 단계이다. 특히, 학술대회 논문에서 참고자료를 인용한 패턴이나 학술대회 논문의 인용수와 관련이 깊은 피인용 자료의 특성들을 조사하는 연구는 미비하다. 따라서 본 연구는 1,900여편의 정보과학 관련 학술대회 논문을 표본논문으로 삼고 그 표본 논문에서 참고자료가 어떻게 인용되었는지 패턴을 살펴보았다. 또, 참고자료의 다양한 특성들(참고자료의 유형 및 개수, 피인용 당시 참고자료의 인용수, 피인용 당시 참고자료의 나이, 저자의 자기인용 비율)이 표본논문과 추후 얻게 될 인용수와 어떤 연관이 있는지 조사하였다. 그 결과, 피인용 참고자료의 53%가 학술대회 논문이었고, 29%가 학술지 논문이었다. 특히, 참고자료의 14%가 학술지 논문이나 단행본이 아닌 비전형적인 참고자료의 유형이었다. 그리고 참고자료의 60% 이상이 5년 이내에 발표된 자료이고, 최신자료일수록 학술대회 논문, 웹 페이지, 기타자료의 비중이 높았다. 참고자료 중 자기 인용비율은 1.7%로 미비했다. 마지막으로 표본논문의 인용수에 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 참고자료의 특성은 참고자료로 쓰인 학술대회 논문의 수, 기타 자료의 수, 그리고 참고자료의 평균나이였다. 즉, 학술대회 논문과 기타자료를 참고자료로 많이 사용하고 최신의 자료를 많이 참조한 표본논문일수록 많이 인용되었다.

출처기억은 사물에 대한 일화기억 경험의 맥락을 표상하는 중요 인지기제이다. 출처기억에 대한 그 동안의 연구는 일상의 일화기억과 밀접한 뇌신경, 행동학적 중요 연구들의 기초가 되어 왔고, 특히 집행기능이나 연합기제와 같은 인지기제를 강조하여 왔다. 본 연구에서는 계량서지학적 방법론을 통해 1989년에서 2020년 사이 출간된 출처기억 연구논문들을 분석하였고 핵심어 공동출현 연결네트워크와 저자 인용 연결망을 기반으로 출처기억 연구의 발전 흐름에 대한 깊이 있는 개관을 제시한다. 계량서지학적 분석을 통해 출처기억 연구의 추세를 확인한 결과, 2010년을 기준으로 이전 연구들에서는 출처기억의 인지적 기제와 관련한 개별 특성을 살핀 반면, 최근의 연구들은 뇌신경영역 간 연결성 특징 분석을 통한 임상적 특징연구를 비롯해 사회신경과학적 주제에 이르는 영향을 탐색하였다. 핵심어 연결성 분석을 통해 노화, 집행기능이 주요 핵심 주제어로서 연구되었음을 확인하였고, 최근 아동발달심리학과 메타기억 등의 관점에서 연구되는 추세로 나아가고 있음을 보았다. 관련된 출처기억의 이론과 연구모델을 기반으로 심리과학분야 내외에서 인지적 향상의 발달과 관련된 연구가 지속될 가능성을 제안하였다.

Objectives : A bibliometric approach using network analysis was applied to explore the global trends of research on herbal medicine for atopic treatment. Methods : Articles related to herbal medicine on atopic treatment from 2003 to 2022 were retrieved from Web of Science Core Collection. Extracted records were analyzed according to the publication year, research area, journal title, country, organization, author and keyword. The VOSviewer program was used to visualize the trends and the research hotspots in herbal medicine for atopy. Results : Analysis of 406 articles indicated the consistent increase of using herbal medicine for atopic treatment over the last 20 years. The most productive country and research organization in issuing articles were South Korea and Kyunghee university. Many articles have been published in research areas such as 'integrative complementary medicine' and 'pharmacology pharmacy'. By evaluating the total link strength, the average publication year and the average citations of countries and authors, the influential countries and authors were identified. A network analysis based on the co-occurrence and the publication year of keywords revealed the relevant characteristics and trends of herbal medicine for atopy. The most up-to-date keywords were 'topical application', 'skin barrier' and 'care'. Conclusions : This bibliometric study examined the overall trends and the time-based development of herbal medicine for atopic treatment. The current study would be useful not only for grasping the global network hub of research on herbal medicine for atopic treatment, but also to explore the new directions for future research.

최근 인공습지(Constructed Wetlands, CWs)를 이용한 탄소격리에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으나 인공습지는 미생물, 식생, 여재 등 소규모 생태계로 탄소흡수원과 탄소 공급원 두가지 기능을 수행하기에 탄소중립을 위한 인공습지의 기능이 확실하지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인공습지의 탄소격리에 대한 기능을 파악하고자 계량서지학 분석(Bibliometric analysis)을 통해 다양한 논문 및 보고서를 기반으로 다양하고 포괄적으로 검토를 수행하였다. 계량서지학 분석(Bibliometric analysis) 결과 인공습지의 기능은 질소를 초점에 두어 영양염류 제거 효과가 높은것으로 분석 되었으며, 인공습지는 토양 내 탄소함유량 및 탄소 격리는 토양 내 조성된 식생, 조성연도 및 유입수 내 유기물 함량에 따라 다른것으로 나타났다. 인공습지 내 적용되어진 식생 중 부들과(Typha)가 많이 적용되었으며, 탄소격리율에 기여도가 높은것으로 분석되었다. 목본류는 관목류에 비해 상대적으로 탄소격리율이 높아 인공습지 설계시 단일식생보다는 목본류와 관목류의 복합적으로 조성하여 인공습지 내 탄소격리율과 기후변화를 완화하는데 기여할 것으로 분석되었다.

본 연구는 계량서지학적 분석 방법을 통해 여러 영역으로 나누어진 국내 건강정보 관련 연구를 통합적인 시각으로 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국학술지인용색인 데이터베이스를 통해 2002년부터 2023년까지의 국내 '건강정보' 관련 논문 1,193편을 수집하여 시기별 동향, 학문분야, 지적구조, 키워드 변화 시기를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 건강정보 관련 논문 수는 지속적으로 증가하였으며, 2021년 이후 감소하고 있다. 건강정보 관련 연구의 주요 학문분야는 '의공학', '예방의학/직업환경의학', '법학', '간호학', '문헌정보학', '학제간연구'로 볼 수 있다. 건강정보 관련 연구의 지적구조를 파악하기 위해 단어동시출현분석을 시행하였다. 이후 도출된 네트워크의 구조와 군집파악을 위해 병렬최근접이웃클러스터링 알고리즘을 적용한 결과 '건강정보에 대한 의료공학적 관점'과 '건강정보에 대한 사회과학적 관점'이라는 2개의 대군집을 중심으로 그에 속한 4개의 중군집, 17개의 소군집을 파악할 수 있었다. 학문분야와 키워드의 변화 시기를 추적하기 위해 변곡점 분석을 시도하였으며 공통적으로 2010년과 2011년 사이에 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 평균 출판년도와 단어출현빈도를 통해 전략 다이어그램을 도출하였으며 고빈도 키워드를 '유망', '성장', '성숙' 영역으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 본 연구는 주로 내용분석 중심의 선행연구들과 다르게 여러 가지 계량서지학적 방법을 통해 건강정보 관련 연구영역을 통합적인 시각으로 바라보았다는 데 의의가 있다.
