This article aims at bibliographical analysis of the . The summary of this study is as follows: 1) Through the investigation of the related historical records. The author was found as No YiJeom who lived in Kongju at the King JeongJo period. 2) was written about the same traveling of China at same time with Park JeeWon's (YeolHaIlki>. The format of this materials was recorded everyday from leaving to arriving in Hanyang. 3) The result of comparison these two writings, the was described better on the view of traditional Confucianism more than the . 4) According to the study, is a new material to provide in the Korean Studies as Korean literature, history, bibliography etc.

The aim of this thesis is to attempt a bibliographical analysis of mathematical materials that were published during Yi-Dynasty. In this study, matters that were treated concretely are the same as follows: 1. Formulation of a system about mathematical materials that were published from Three Kingdoms to Yi-Dynasty. 2. Background of each period about compilation and publication of mathematical materials. 3. Investigation to transition, block book and domain of subject of mathematical materials through analysis on each period of publication. But it was not easy to contrast materials on each catalogue with existed books one by one. In further, we must a new chance for better a n.0, ppreciation about Yi-Dynasty's mathematical materials through continuous studies to this field.

This study tries to analyze the problems of rules for cataloging currently used n Korea such as KCR 3rd ed., KORMARC Description Rules, and KORMARC format, and to propose the methods solving the non-standardization of Korean cataloging records as follows: 1) No-main heading principles should be established so as to be applied to MARC format. 2) Description rules of cataloging currently used in Korea should be coordinated in accordance with MARC system and principles of bibliographical description. 3) Description rules of cataloging currently used in Korea should be coordinated in accordance with MARC system and principles of bibliographical description. 4) Unifying the format for CRT screen to display online catalog records are needed. 5) Conventional cataloging rules and MARC format should be coordinated.

1. Purpose: This study was intended to consider through a bibliographical comparison between the system of Kabo-Bon ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$ and that of Shinehook-Pan ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$. 2. Method: This study was based on the ${\ulcorner}$Hamsansachon Dongyi Soose Bowon old Kabo-Bon${\lrcorner}$, which was compared with a bibliographical data from Shinchook-Pan ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$ and the collection of manuscripts left unpublished in Lee Je-ma's lifetime. 3. Result & Conclusion: Exterior-Interior Pathological system was found in the system of Kabo-Bon ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$, and it might be referred to that of Jang Joong-kyung's ${\ulcorner}$Shanghan Ron${\lrcorner}$. There were no 'the Discourse on the Origin of oriental Medicine' and 'the Discourse on the General Health Maintenance' in the Kabo-Bon ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$. And it was supposed to be many changes of contents on 'the Discourse on Nature and Order', 'the Discourse on the Four Principles', 'the Discourse on the Establishment and Supplement' and 'the Discourse on Viscera and Bowels' in the Shinchook-Pan ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$ compared with those in the Kabo-Bon ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Soose Bowon${\lrcorner}$.

Design of experiments (DOE) is a method that has been applied in the industry to improve value for many decades. This study provides an overview of 115 cases of statistical DOE applications in the field of chemical engineering. All cases were published in important scientific journals for the last ten years. The applied design type, the experiment size, the number of factors and levels affecting the response variable, and the area of application for the design were all analyzed. Obviously, the number of publications related with statistical DOE increased over time.

The rainbow has been considered as a perfect representative of color harmony in nature. In this study rainbow's colors include seven spectral colors and changeable colors according to observational angle. This study performed a bibliographical inquiry into rainbow colors and the survey research for classification of rainbow color images in fashion design. First, a bibliographical inquiry includes the definition of rainbow colors, physical formation principles of the rainbow, and its aesthetical attributes and symbolism. Second, this survey classifies rainbow color images in fashion design. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The rainbow was the religious and symbolic object before 17th century, and after that period, the rainbow became an aesthetical object. The main symbolic meanings are similar in eastern and western culture: temporary bridge between two world, divine nature, hope/beauty/richness, war/ death/flood/drought. 2. This survey shows that 6 main factors of rainbow color images in fashion design are 'vigorous', 'colorful'. 'fairy', 'fresh', 'mysterious', 'brilliant'. Rainbow color image in fashion design shows past and futuristic image at the same time. The purpose of this study is to systematized the images theoretical bases which are applied to color expression and of rainbow colors and to find out the development about rainbow theme by designers.

For the purpose of wide application of Korea Ginseng Radix (KGR) as a tonic and medicinal drug, bibliographical study on Ginseng Radix (GR) was done about its herbal and pharmacological effects known so far. Herbal effect of GR was studied in 28 classical books including Shennongbencaojing(신농본초경), the oldest herbal book in oriental medicine and also its pharmacological effects was compared with its herbal effect. In bibliographical study 38 kinds of efficacies of GR were referred in those books, for example, in fields of gastrointestinal tract, heart, psychology, body fluid, hormone and respiratory tract in order from statistical analysis. GR was chiefly used for supplementing Qi, vital energy in oriental medicine. However, experimental study on respiratory diseases was not reported except lung cancer yet, while GR was used for the treatment of asthma mostly mixed with other herb in oriental medicine. So far research with GR was performed chiefly for isolation of constituents as saponins and evaluation of its efficacy experimentally by KGTR (Korea Ginseng Tobacco Research Institute). From the above studies, to make KGR used widely than before, I suggest study with KGR should be done according to oriental principles such as Qi and tasters and combination theory between herbs excepting typical analytical research with saponins.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the textual and physical bibliography of these books that were printed from Koryo to Chosun Dynasty and written by the Kukyul system. This study is concerned with the Kukyul written in the transformed Chinese characters which representing their sino-Korean sound values only. The Kukyul is the Korean function word inserted to a written Chinese sentence for an easier understanding of the meaning by the Koreans. Until the present, most of these studies on the Kukyul are mainly concerned with the Korean linguistic characters. But this mentions to present the basic bibliographical information in order to presume the written period of the Kukyul system. 2The analysis of each book is made in the respect of: 1) historical aspect of the book 2) physical form and publishing date 3) transcription period of the Kukyul 4) the category of presenting Kukyul 5) historical change of transcribing Kukyul system The results of the study are as follows : First, the Kukyul system was divided into Sokdok and Sundok Kukyul according to the translation and recording format. Second, the Sokdok Kukyul is a kind of writing system for translated Chinese into Korean. Third, the Sundok Kukyul was frequently used Buddhist publications from later Koryo Dynasty to Middle Chosun period. Fourth, through the analysis of physical bibliography for that books, we rearrange the chronological oder of Sokdok Kukyul system as Hwaum-kyung, Hwaum-kyungSo, Kumkwngmyu ngkyung, Kuyeukinwang-kyung, Yukasajiron. Fifth, the characters of Sundok Kukyul systems were gradually decreased from eighty numbers to fifty numbers. This change is caused by the unification trends of sound value in morphological aspect.

Today, if a work is created and published, new items concerned with it gets expended extremely. There are bibliographic relationships between the original work and new items as it is translations, revisions, reproductions, critiques etc. Bibliographic relationships refer to the connections and associations between two or more than two bibliographic items. Tillett's study with taxonomy, as well as other studies of the bibliographic relationships is used as the foundation for analysis of the work types. The current study examines the work types based upon the bibliographic relationships of Korean publications. KORMARC records of the Korean collection of the Chonnam National University Library is used to draw a sample for analysis. The research results of the study are provided for future studies on the KORMARC format and organization of Korean collections.
