양송이 통조림 공장의 미생물 오염도 변화 추적 (Monitoring of Microbial Contaminants in Processing Line of Some Mushromm Canneries)

  • 대표적 야채 가공제품의 하나인 양송이 통조림을 제조하는 공장을 규모별로 선정하여 용수와 원료의 오염도를 측정하고 세척, 자숙 및 경과시간별 총균수의 증감을 관찰하여 야채류 가공 시 공정설정에 필요한 미생물학적 기초자료를 얻었다. 이들 공장에서 사용하는 용수의 총균수는 10ml당 $10^{2}CFU$ 정도였으며 세척 탱크에 받아놓는 세척용수에는 이미 총균수가 10-100배 증가하는 현상을 보였다. 원료 양송이 중 총균수는 $10^{5}-10^{6}CFU/g$ 이었고 이를 세척하는 경우 양송이 1톤당 세척수를 2.3톤까지 사용하는 경우 세척효과가 있으나 1.8톤 이하 사용시는 오히려 미생물 오염도를 높이는 결과를 초래하였다. 자숙에 의하여 균수는 50-5000 CFU/ml으로 감소하였고 자숙 후 $16^{\circ}C$ 물에 3시간 정도 방치하는 것은 미생물 증식에 큰 영향을 주지 않았으나 액즙(8$0^{\circ}C$)을 주입후 살균개시 전까지 방치함에 따라 균수는 초기 $84{\times}10^{4}CFU/ml$에서 3시간 후 $20{\times}10^{7}CFU/ml$로 증가하였다.

발효 포도부산물의 단백질 분해물 매염제를 활용한 염색 최적조건에 관한 연구 (Optimum Dyeing Condition of Cotton by Fermented Grape By-products with Degraded Protein Mordant)

  • Many of the natural dyes used for natural dyeing are difficult to maintain colorfastness due to their complex structure and specific properties. Therefore, there is a need for developing of color sustainable ability for use as an advanced coloring agent for fabrics, which would eco benign or not. In this study, the natural dye extracted from the waste of grape fruits was used to dye cotton fabric. Thus, the present study aims at extraction of color from grape seeds, skin, and stem through fermentation and then employing the same in dyeing and mordanting of cotton. Dyeing experiments were done under different conditions of fermentation and protein type mordants which were treated before and after dyeing. Experimental fabrics were used with cotton after scouring. Color value of dyed fabrics and color fastness of cotton dyed fabrics to washing and light were measured. The fastness of dyed experimental fabrics was increased by mordanting of protein fermentation and the color of dyed cotton was light red purple. The color of dyed fabric found with the optimum mordant treatment when treated with pre milk-mordant at $40^{\circ}C$ for 30min and 3% grape seed extract. On the whole, reddish tone very slightly increased with the milk pre-mordant. The color fastness of dyed cotton fabrics to light and washing was increased after fermentation.

수용성 약물인 세파클러를 함유하는 젤라틴 마이크로캅셀의 제조 및 약물 방출특성 (Preparation of Cefaclor-Containing Gelatin Microcapsules and Their Drug Release Characteristics)

  • In order to formulate a controlled release system for oral drug delivery, the microcapsules were prepared in w/o emulsion containing cefaclor as a water-soluble model drug by th e method of interfacial polycondensation. Gelatin wis selected as a suitable polymer for interfacial polycondensation. Gelatin solution containing drug was emulsified in an organic phase under mechanical stirring. After emulsification, terephthaloyl chloride was added as cross linking agent, followed by mechanical stirring, washing and drying. Physical characteristics of microcapsules were investigated by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and particle size analysis. Mean particle sizes of gelatin microcapsules were, in the range, of about 20~50 ${\mu}$m. The microcapsules were in good apperance with spherical shapes before washing, but were destroyed partially after washing and drying, even though some microcapsules were still maintained in their shapes. Contents of cefaclor in the microcapsules were calculated by UV spectrophotometry after 3 days extraction with pH 4 carbonate buffer solution. The effects of cross linking time. pH. concentration of cross-linking agent, and temperature on drug release kinetics have been discussed extensively.

인산/구연산 복합 산촉매 및 이산화티타늄을 적용한 면섬유의 난연 특성 (Flame Retardant Properties of Cotton Fiber with Phosphoric/citric Acid Catalysts and TiO2)

  • In this study, the effect on flame retardancy and various physical properties when TiO2 was added with a citric acid/phosphate complex acid catalyst together with Pyrovatex CP new (N-methylol dimethylphosphonopropionamide), a phosphorus-based flame retardant, was studied on cotton fibers. SEM-EDS analysis was performed to confirm the surface characteristics and surface element analysis of the flame-retardant treated cotton fibers, and a vertical carbonization test was performed to confirm the char formation capability and flame retardancy according to the phosphoric acid ratio. By comparing the LOI index before and after washing 10 times, the washing durability of the flame retardant solution containing the phosphoric acid catalyst and TiO2 was tested by LOI index after ten washing cycles. In addition, the influence of the flame-retardant processing on the physical properties were compared including thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), tear strength and whiteness.

식초절임 무의 HACCP 시스템 적용을 위한 미생물학적 위해 분석 (Microbiological Hazard Analysis for HACCP System Application to Vinegared Pickle Radishes)

  • 본 연구는 식초절임 무의 HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)시스템 구축을 위하여 생물학적 위해요소분석을 위한 목적으로 2012년 2월 1일~6월 31일까지 약 150일 동안 수행하였다. 일반적인 식초절임 무 제조업체의 제조공정을 참고로 하여 공정도를 작성하였으며, 식초절임 무의 원료 농산물(무), 용수, 첨가물과 포장재료에 입고, 보관, 정선, 세척, 표피제거, 절단, 선별, 충진, 내포장, 금속검출, 외포장, 보관 및 출하공정에 대하여 작성하였다. 원료 무의 세척 전, 세척 후의 Coliform group, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella spp., Bacillus cereus, Listeria Monocytogenes, E. coli O157:H7, Clostridium perfringens, Yeast 와 Mold를 측정한 결과 Bacillus cereus는 세척 전 $5.00{\times}10$ CFU/g이었으나, 세척 후 검출되지 않았으며, Yeast 와 Mold 는 세척 전 $3.80{\times}10^2$ CFU/g, 세척 후 10 CFU/g로 감소되었으며 나머지 병원성균은 검출되지 않았다. 조미액의 pH(2~5)별 미생물의 변화를 시험한 결과 모든 균이 검출되지 않은 pH 3~4를 조미액의 pH로 결정하였다. 작업장별 공중낙하균 (일반세균수, 대장균, 진균수) 시험결과 내포장실, 조미액가공실, 세척실, 보관실의 미생물수는 10 CFU/Plate, 2 CFU/Plate, 60 CFU/Plate 그리고 20 CFU/Plate 가 검출되었다. 종사자 손바닥 시험결과 일반세균수 346 $CFU/Cm^2$, 대장균군 23 $CFU/Cm^2$로 높게 나타나 개인위생관리에 대한 교육 및 훈련이 요구 되었다. 제조설비 및 기구의 표면오염도를 검사한 결과 모든 시료에서 대장균군은 검출되지 않았고, 일반세균은 PP Packing machin과 Siuping machine (PE Bulk)에서 가장 많은 $4.2{\times}10^3CFU/Cm^2$, $2.6{\times}10^3CFU/Cm^2$ 검출되었다. 위의 위해분석 결과 병원성미생물을 예방, 감소 또는 제거할 수 있는 조미액 가공 공정이 CCP-B (Biological)로 관리되어야 하고, 한계기준은 pH 3~4로 결정하였다. 따라서 전통한과생산에의 HACCP 모델 적용을 위한 미생물학적 위해도 평가에서와 같이 조미액 가공 공정의 관리기준 및 이탈시 조치방법, 검증방법, 교육 훈련과 기록관리 등 철저한 HACCP 관리계획이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

Characterization of Spray-Dried Yttrium Aluminum Garnet Powder

  • Yttrium aluminum garnet(YAG) powders were synthesized by spray-drying of the hydroxides coprecipitated from a mixture of aqueous solutions of $Al(NO_3)_3.9H_2O \;and\; Y(NO_3)_3.6H_2O$ Phase formation in the powders during heat treatments and their sintering charactristics were investigated. In the powder obtained by washing the hydroxides before spray-drying, a metastable yttrium aluminum hexagonal (YAH) phase was first crystallized and then transformed into YAG as temperature was increased. The formation of YAH was attributed to a deviation in compositions of the particles from the starting composition of YAG. However, the powder prepared without washing step contained a stable yttrium aluminum monoclinic(YAM) phase in addition to YAG due to a large deviation from the starting composition. A powder compact of a single phase YAG was pressureless-sintered for 4 hrs at $1700^{\circ}C$ and the density was 93% of the theoretical density.

단체급식소에서 이용되는 일부 생채소의 소독방법 및 저장에 따른 품질연구 (A study for the Quality Depending on Sanitization and Storage Method of Raw Vegetables in Foodservice Operation)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate the microbial and physicochemical quality of some raw vegetables and suggest safer methods of sanitization and storage for foodservice operations. Three sanitization methods were utilized during pre-preparation (tap water, chlorine water and electrolyzed water). Leek and Chicory were monitored as ingredient, with different storage temperatures $(3,\;10^{\circ}C)$ and periods (1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 days). The largest reduction in the microbial counts was shown with the electrolyzed water and for the case before immersion in chlorine water, performing a first washing was more effective in reducing the microbial counts than with no washing. The results showed that the storage temperature, pH, moisture content and microbial loads were important factors affecting the quality of vegetables.

  • The objectives of this study are to investigate the suitability of various coal fly ashes and incineration ashes for zeolite synthesis. Zeolite P and hydroxysodalite are produced from coal fly ash and paper sludge incineration ash. When soluble and acid-soluble materials in incineration fly ash are removed by the water washing or acid washing before hydrothermal synthesis, hydroxysodalite can be produced. The factors to make solid-liquid separation difficult are the calcium component and the unburned carbon in ash.

  • 5L laboratory-scale anaerobic digester was used to study the effects of food size and washing rate of food waste on the mixed digestion with sewage sludge. Food waste was crushed with particle diameters of 4mm and 2mm and washed two to three times, and seven to eight times before feeding the batch digester. The digester with crushed of washed food waste showed better performance than that with uncrushed of unwashed to produce methane gas of reduce volatile solids. The digester with 2mm food waste showed 17.4% higher VS/TS reduction rate and 18ml higher methane production rate per gram VS input than that with uncrushed food waste, where VS and TS are volatile solid and total solids in the liquid effluent, respectively. Also food waste crushed eight times gave 8% higher VS/TS reduction rate and 11ml higher methane production rate per gram VS input than unwashed food waste.

트리팔미틴 오구포의 세척성에 미치는 리파제의 효과 (The Effect of Lipase on the Removal of Tripalmitin Soiled Fabric)

  • This study was carried out to examine the effect of lipase on the removal of tripalmitin in the various conditions of washing. The soiled fabric was prepared by spotting of tripalmitin solution evenly on the polyster fabric and was baked in the oven and was aged for a week. The soiled fabric was washed by using Terg-O-Tometer at various conditions. The detergency was evaluated by analysing the tripalmitin tagged with $C^{14}$ on the fiber before and after washing by means of liquid scintillation counting.g.
