  • Urban transit is system that offer target Performance and function because various lower part system such as vehicles, signaling, power supply, rail track is consisted as complex. It is important first of all that describe correctly system requirement until configuration of system, design, manufacture, installation and test verification so that the complicated urban transit system is to act safety and reliable and to display target Performance and function properly. The system requirement assist the system developer to comprehensive the performance and function of system in basic design.   • The basic concept and preliminary performance results of a miniaturized electroosmotic (EO) pump with diaphragms were included in the present study. The separation of an electroosmotic pumping liquid from a drug using diaphragms is mainly to have a freedom in choosing an electroosmotic pumping liquid and to achieve the optimal drug delivery, and, preferably its precise control. We performed maximum flow rate, maximum pressure, and maximum current measurements with and without diaphragm designs. As a result, the effect of diaphragms on pump performance at the maximum condition is small. However, the presence of diaphragms does not allow indefinite continuous pumping.

  • Tire labeling is an important issue to reduce $CO_2$ and to secure the safety of tire/vehicle on wet road. A basic study on the effects of tire basic stiffness design on tire labeling performance has been done through experimental test. The pass-by noise is affected by tire structural design. The tire with lower side part stiffness and lower tread part stiffness has the lowest PBN level and the best wet grip. And the tire with higher tread part stiffness and higher side part stiffness has the better RR performance. Also it is observed that the trade-off between RR and wet grip exists for various tire stiffness design.

  • In this study, samples of sea anchor canopy cloth mainly used in Korean jigging fishing vessels were collected and tested for performance evaluation. The canopy cloth of sea anchor is a basic element of form composition that is known to have the greatest influence on anchor performance. In order to evaluate the performance of sea anchor canopy cloth, five types of samples were tested for new metric count, tensile strength, water vapour transmission rate and drying speed according to the national standard (KS), and some correlations were identified. As a result of the test, the new metric count of cloths was 335.5-443.4 denier in warp and 217-447.6 denier in weft, and the minimum tensile strength was 860 N in warp direction and 430 N in weft direction. The apparent number and tensile strength of cloth were proportional, the water vapour transmission rate of the sample was 206.8 g/m2h, and the drying speed was 90-100 min. This study partially confirmed the performance evaluation based on speculation by the standard test method, and further research is needed on the clear relationship between the research results and the performance of the sea anchor.

  • Automatic tool changers(ATCs) store tools used in a machining center to its magazine and changes the tools automatically. Tools of machine centers are changed and then precisely equipped to spindle system by the ATC. Therefore, the stability and reliability of the ATC is very important. But, there is lack of development and evaluation on basic performance and vibration of the ATCs. So, in this study, a BT40 ATC test bench was developed to verify stability and reliability of BT40 ATCs.

  • Test evaluation field of railroad system that safety and reliability are important is to verify basic performances of unit products and system that were producted according to the specifications. Also, it is important works that verify finally in respect to commercialize verifying reliability and safety. As one part of system technology, this field is to construct database based on know-how of accumulated technology till now than high technical idea and, is to construct test evaluation system of railroad system that can utilize the constructed database. According to the necessity, our researchers investigated good measuring system of foreign country and performed research on performance test and evaluation technology of high-speed tilting vehicle that suits to domestic state.

  • This research presents a modeling and a manufacturing method of screw flow meter. This paper introduces the efficient design and manufacturing method of screw type flow meter using reverse engineering and test technology. The methods introduced this paper utilize the reverse engineering that is increasing accuracy of modeling and manufacturing of reverse model. And then it can be used in performance test with hydraulic test equipment. Hence this can be used in the basic document for development of the quite accurate flowmeter.

  • After-treatment apparatus ceramic DPF (diesel particulate filter) have been applied to reduce harmful particulate matters(PM) among emissions from diesel engines so far, but they are easy to be fragile and weak in thermal shock. This research aims to investigate a metal type filter which is superior in mechanical strength and heat conduction rate and is beneficial economically in manufacturing. Basic performance of metal DPF such asloading test, temperature gradient test, thermal shock test, heat resistant test and back pressure was carried out. And then their experimental data provided key informations in designing and manufacturing such as detailed structures of metal mesh filter. Also diesel engine and vehicle of 2957cc displacement was tested under lug-down 3 mode and CVS-75 mode. PM reduction efficiency was 54.5% using metal DPF without loss of performance and fuel consumption.

  • The purpose of this study to find the mixture of concrete for Top-Down method. Throughout test of elapsed time change and L-type flow, it was proposed basic performance and level of top-down method concrete. When change as to elapsed time is considered, so series of F10 added 10% S.P satisfied slump and demanded flow (60$\pm$5cm), and L-type slump, L-type flow satisfied liquidity, it can be considered basic mixture of designed actual frame later.

  • Recently, interest on the performance of the construction temporary equipment have been greatly increased. Since the application of the 'Performance Test Code' for the equipment in 1992 according to the Industrial Safety and Health Act, a basic study of Steel Pipe Supports have been carried out for the last 2 years based on the Performance Test Results. The present code specification for the Steel Pipe Supports and research status are introduced. So far, total 849 specimen have been examined on their outer and inner pipe's length, thickness, their overlapping length, and their load carrying capacities. The test was conducted separately into two groups - used and new equipment, and it was found that the used ones revealed a decrease on their load carrying capacity, almost $10\%$ compared to the new ones. Considering this fact, it is strongly recommended to ensure the quality of the equipment before use at the jobsite. First of all, based on this basic investigation, the statistical values on the Steel Pipe Supports are suggested and further analysis on the effect of each component is in progress. It is, however, expected that this report can be used as a basic information on the Steel Pipe Supports.
