Development of the Railroad Geotechnical Information Management System Using Web GIS (웹 GIS 기반 철도 지반정보 관리프로그램의 개발)

  • Railroad geotechnical information management system was developed by using Web GIS and DB in this study. The standardization of railroad geotechnical information is progressed by classifying three groups as like basic informations, vibration informations along railway lines and design drawings. The basic informations consisted of basic and dynamic properties of soils, geophysical exploration and seismic survey/exploration. And the specification for 'human exposure to whole-body vibration' was adopted to construct the vibration informations along railway lines. The informations as like drawings and photographs were saved by changing to graphic files in the standardization of design drawings. In the case of standardization of geographical information, the topographical maps(NGIS, 1:5000) were primarily used as digital maps. Another digital maps(KRRI, 1:5000) and their geographical DB based on NGI code system were added on this maps. The standardized informations were used to construct their database. And railroad information management system was developed using Entity-Relation(ER) model which had a good feasibility for expansion and transition to other system in designing stage of database. This system consisted of layer selection, search and analysis of geotechnical informations and Zeus DB was adopted for GIS operating and user interface. This system could be a good tool for saving, searching and analyzing the geotechnical and geophysical informations. These DB systems would offered the basic informations to plans, design and construction of railroad lines etc. in practical use.

  • Powell-Miller theory is a good method to express or treat incorrect information. But it has limitation that requires too much time to apply to actual situation because computational complexity increases in exponential and functional way. Accordingly, there have been several attempts to reduce computational complexity but side effect followed - certainty factor fell. This study suggested expanded Approximation Algorithm. Expanded Approximation Algorithm is a method to consider both smallest supersets and largest subsets to expand basic space into a space including inverse set and to reduce Approximation error. By using expanded Approximation Algorithm suggested in the study, basic probability assignment function value of subsets was alloted and added to basic probability assignment function value of sets related to the subsets. This made subsets newly created become Approximation more efficiently. As a result, it could be known that certain function value which is based on basic probability assignment function is closely near actual optimal result. And certainty in correctness can be obtained while computational complexity could be reduced. by using Algorithm suggested in the study, exact information necessary for a system can be obtained.

  • As wireless internet market grows rapidly in recent years, demands of various contents in wireless internet is significantly being increased. XHTML with extensibility that can support many kinds of internet web clients and platforms is established in world-wide standards of markup language. XHTML reforming HTML4 in XML 1.0 is recognized that It is the heart of the technology to integrate existing contents and increase the interoperability in wired and wireless internet. XHTML Basic for wireless internet are based on the XHTML. In this paper, we design and implement an document editor for XHTML Basic.'rho wireless internet document editor supports CSS creation that users can display XHTML Basic documents as they want. It also supports WYSIWYG editing that user4 inn make out them without difficulty.

  • Electrical and optical characteristics of MEH-PPV-based PLEDs with the LiF anode interfacial layer were investigated. The maximum luminance efficiency of the device with a LiF anode interfacial layer of 1-nm-thick was 3.0 lm/W, which is higher than 1.97 lm/W of the device without a LiF layer. By inserting LiF, excess injected holes from ITO anode can be blocked and hence the recombination ratio of electrons and holes can be increased in the emitting layer to improve device efficiency.

  • 이 논문은 한글 프로그래밍 언어 KoBASIC의 설계 및 구현에 관해 기술한다. 현대 사회에서 프로그래밍은 핵심 기술로 자리 잡았으며, 프로그래밍 언어는 이를 실현하기 위한 도구이다. 그러나 대다수의 프로그래밍 언어는 영어로 구성되어 있어, 한글을 주로 사용하는 사용자들에게는 접근이 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 한글 사용자들도 쉽게 접근하고 이해할 수 있는 프로그래밍 환경을 제공하기 위한 목적으로, 전통적인 교육용 프로그래밍 언어인 BASIC을 기반으로 한글 프로그래밍 언어 KoBASIC을 새롭게 제안한다.

Traditional Korean Medicine Diagnosis System Based on Basic Ontology (기초 온톨로지 기반 한의 진단 시스템)

  • We in this paper design and implement a traditional korean medicine diagnosis system based on basic ontology. If doctors put the symptoms or tongues or pulses of a patient in the diagnosis system, they can be recommended for the diagnosis results. To support the doctors decision, the diagnosis system make the inference based on the basic ontology and compute the similarity between symptoms of patient and those of ontology. The diagnosis systems also provide the learning mechanism about diagnosis results which save the results in the ontology and reuse them in the next diagnosis. Thus, doctors can share their knowledge for the diagnosis by exchanging their ontology each other. In future, we will expand the knowledge of the basic ontology continuously so that doctors can get the more accurate diagnosis results. We also implement the prescription function and integrate it to the diagnosis system.

A Correlation between the Education Gap and Information Literacy (교육격차와 정보활용능력의 상관관계 연구 - 『도서관과 정보생활』교과의 I·II 영역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference of economic condition of students, that is, the difference of basic information utilization ability stemming from education gap. First, we investigated information literacy for high school freshmen who can control the difference of information utilization education experience by school. In doing the research, 629 high school students in the metropolitan city were surveyed using web. we analyzed the educational gap between schools depending on their economic conditions and analyzed the correlation between education gap and basic information utilization ability. As a result, it was found that there is a very significant negative correlation between the ratio of students who get support for school expenses and basic information utilization ability. Second, regression equation was produced through regression analysis of information literacy regression to analyze the effect of educational gap on basic information literacy. In addition, it seeks to consider alternatives that can improve the inequality of information literacy which is derived from education gap.

A Study on the Basic Term Relationship of Thesaurus (시소러스의 기본 용어관계에 관한 연구)

  • With the development of indexing and retrieval techniques and the trends of information retrieval environment becoming more and more user-friendly, existing guideline for international thesaurus establishment standards and basic term relations currently used in thesaurus have become to longer adequate. The purpose of this study is to present solutions to expanding term relations which will fit new information retrieval environment. This report views standards for ISO 2788 and ANSI/NISO Z 39.19, and compares and analyzes 20 thesaurus basis term relations currently used both at home and abroad(14 overseas and 6 in Korea) to find out problems and limitations. Based on findings of the study, this report suggests how to expand thesaurus basic term relations to accomodate changes in information retrieval environment.

  • This Present study examines the Japanese Tourist basic law, its background as well as the formation process. Furthermore, this article also investigates the contents of the tourist basic law. In addition, I intend to accomplish a comparative study between a tourist policy enacted by the tourist policy council in 1995 years and the policy enacted in the 1960ㆍ70s. As the purpose of the study is concerned, the question related to a recomposition of contents of the Japanese tourist basic law in the 21st century is considered.
