모바일 커머스의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing on Behavior Intention for Mobile Commerce)

  • Mobile commerce is defined as any direct or indirect transaction conducted and facilitated through a wireless telecommunication network such as payment, ticketing, auction and mobile banking. Despite the importance of mobile commerce, there have not been so many academic studies on the unique characteristics of mobile commerce environments. In this study, our research model is developed based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) to investigate the user's technology acceptance process in mobile commerce environment. The factors, such as ubiquity, compatibility, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, security, attitude and behavior intention for mobile commerce were selected from pier study in information systems area. The data for empirical analysis of the research model is collected online-questionnaire of 167 mobile commerce users in South Korea. The hypotheses were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. The results of our study show that: (1) compatibility, perceived usefulness and security had influences on the attitude whereas perceived ease of use and cost did not have any significant impact on the attitude, (2) compatibility influenced perceived usefulness whereas perceived ease of use did not, and finally (3) ubiquity, perceived usefulness and attitude had considerable influences on intention for mobile commerce. Therefore, practitioners should focus on enhancing security, quality of contents and services as well as offering what mobile commerce users want. The results of this study may useful for academicians and practitioners alike.

  • 최근 개인정보 보안의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 특히 음성 인식, 지문 인식, 얼굴 인식등 생체인식 기술의 중요성이 출입통제, 은행보안, 개인 PC 보안 등 다양한 분야에서 강조되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 보안 기술 같은 경우 외부적인 요소에 의해 인식이 실패할 가능성이 있다. 그에 비해 정맥 인식의 경우 복제 및 위조가 불가능하다. 따라서 외부적인 요소에 의해 실패할 가능성이 적다는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 생체인식 기술보다 높은 신뢰도를 가진 기존의 지정맥 패턴 인식에서 개선된 전처리 방법을 제안한다.

Rationalization of Network Segregation for Continuity of Financial Services Following COVID-19

  • As measures for protecting users and ensuring security of electronic financial transactions, such as online banking, financial institutions in South Korea have implemented network segregation policies. However, a revision of such domain-centered standardized network segregation policies has been increasingly requested because of: 1) increased demand for remote work due to changes resulting from COVID-19 pandemic; and 2) the difficulty of applying new technologies of fintech companies based on information and communications technologies (ICTs) such as cloud services. Therefore, in this study, problems of the remote work environment arising from the network segregation policy currently applied to the financial sector in South Korea and those from the application of new ICTs such as fintech technology have been investigated. In addition, internal network protection policies of foreign financial sectors, such as those of the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Russia, and internal network protection policies of non-financial sectors, such as control systems, have been analyzed. As measures for the effective improvement of the current network segregation policy, we propose a policy change from domain-based to data-centric network segregation. Furthermore, to resolve threats of hacking at remote work, recently emerging as a global problem due to COVID-19 pandemic, a standard model for remote work system development applicable to financial companies and a reinforced terminal security model are presented, and an alternative control method applicable when network segregation is not applied is proposed.

Biometric verified authentication of Automatic Teller Machine (ATM)

  • Biometric authentication has become an essential part of modern-day security systems, especially in financial institutions like banks. A face recognition-based ATM is a biometric authentication system, that uses facial recognition technology to verify the identity of bank account holders during ATM transactions. This technology offers a secure and convenient alternative to traditional ATM transactions that rely on PIN numbers for verification. The proposed system captures users' pictures and compares it with the stored image in the bank's database to authenticate the transaction. The technology also offers additional benefits such as reducing the risk of fraud and theft, as well as speeding up the transaction process. However, privacy and data security concerns remain, and it is important for the banking sector to instrument solid security actions to protect customers' personal information. The proposed system consists of two stages: the first stage captures the user's facial image using a camera and performs pre-processing, including face detection and alignment. In the second stage, machine learning algorithms compare the pre-processed image with the stored image in the database. The results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of using face recognition for ATM authentication, which can enhance the security of ATMs and reduce the risk of fraud.

핀테크 금융 기술을 이용한 국내외 보안 사례 분석 및 대응 방안에 대한 연구 (A Study of Analysis and Response and Plan for National and International Security Practices using Fin-Tech Technologies)

  • 최근 국내외 금융사고가 증가하면서 핀테크와 관련된 금융 기술이 대두되고 있다. 현재 금융기관에서 운용하고 있는 보안 기술들은 새롭게 나타나고 있는 보안 공격에는 취약한 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인증방식의 다양화와 생체인식 정보의 활용 등에서 핀테크 금융 기술을 이용하는 보안 사고 대응 방법에 대해서 제안한다. 제안 방법은 개인 자산관리, 크라우드 펀딩(crowd funding) 등의 IT 기술을 금융기술에 접목하여 사용자들에게 편리한 금융 서비스를 제공한다. 또한, 제안 방법은 PCI-DSS, 토큰화 기술, FDS, 블록체인 등의 보안 기술들을 적용하여 편의성과 함께 보안성을 제공하고 있다. 제안 방법은 펜테크 금융 기술과 관련하여 다양한 보안 사례를 분석하고 대응방안에 대해서 기술하고 있다.

  • 2014년 카드사 개인정보유출 사고의 원인은 테스트시스템에서 원본 데이터가 사용되었기 때문이다. 금융감독원 전자금융감독규정과 금융회사 정보기술(IT)부문의 정보보호업무 모범규준에는 테스트시스템에서 고객을 식별하는 정보는 변환하여 사용하도록 규정하고 있다. 금융회사는 이 지침에 따라 고객식별정보를 변환한 데이터를 테스트시스템에 적재하여 사용한다. 하지만, 테스트 과정에서의 사용자 실수 또는 기술적, 관리적 보안의 미비 등으로 의도치 않게 실제 개인식별정보가 유입될 수 있으나, 이를 통제 및 관리하는 프로세스는 현재 연구된 바가 없고, 감독기관의 컴플라이언스 위반 가능성을 높이는 원인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 테스트시스템의 변환 미확인 고객식별정보를 관리 및 통제함으로써 감독기관의 컴플라이언스 위반 가능성을 없애는 프로세스를 제시 및 실증하고, 그 효과성을 확인해 본다.

The system of intelligent home is the intelligence of human-biology in the side of environmental friendly and multi-function. it distinguish the system of security, controlling system of inside environment, supporting system of house-working, automatic controlling, house working. Future house require to meet demand of young generation, such as small residental space, the multi-functional space, the flexible space, making mood for dual income couple and of single as intelligent home. Accordingly, basic purpose which are pleasantness, the safe and the convenience the mobile multi-function as well as networking with controlling of temperature, security, health-test, home-entertainment, home-office and consider environment together.

IP Design of Corrected Block TEA Cipher with Variable-Length Message for Smart IoT

  • Corrected Block TEA(or XXTEA) is a block cipher designed to correct security weakness in the original block TEA in 1998. In this paper, XXTEA cipher hardware which can encrypt or decrypt between 64-bit and 256-bit messages using 128-bit master key is implemented. Minimum message block size is 64-bit wide and maximal message block size is 256-bit wide. The designed XXTEA can encrypt and decrypt variable-length message blocks which are some arbitrary multiple of 32 bits in message block sizes. XXTEA core of this paper is described using Verilog-HDL and downloaded on Vertex4. The operation frequency is 177MHz. The maximum throughput for 64-bit message blocks is 174Mbps and that of 256-bit message blocks is 467Mbps. The cryptographic IP of this paper is applicable as security module of the mobile areas such as smart card, internet banking, e-commerce and IoT.

A Strong Designated Verifiable DL Based Signcryption Scheme

  • This paper presents a strong designated verifiable signcryption scheme, in which a message is signcrypted by a signcryptor and only a specific receiver, who called a "designated verifier", verifies it using his own secret key. The scheme is secure, as an adversary can not verify the signature even if the secret key of the signer is compromised or leaked. The security of the proposed scheme lies in the complexity of solving two computationally hard problems, namely, the Discrete Logarithm Problem (DLP) and the Integer Factorization Problem (IFP). The security analysis of the scheme has been done and it is proved that, the proposed scheme can withstand an adaptive chosen ciphertext attack. This scheme can be very useful in organizations where there is a need to send confidential documents to a specific recipient. This scheme can also be applicable to real life scenarios, such as, e-commerce applications, e-banking and e-voting.

  • An amazing growth in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain based smart cities from both industry and academia has been witnessed in the recent years. There are many smart applications such as intelligent transportation, smart banking, improving the life style of citizen, energy consumption and managing the waste in the city, handling home needs are supporting the Smart city concept. These applications are profoundly supported by the advanced technologies like Blockchain as well as IoT in the recent past. Smart cities can be supported by the Blockchain core concepts such as secure, transparent, decentralized and immutable nature. Still, Blockchain and IoT technologies implementation in smart cities are in their early stages and significant research efforts are desirable to integrate them. This review article explores the roles and responsibilities of Blockchain and IoT in building smart cities.
