탄력밴드 운동이 노인의 신체조성과 체력에 미치는 지속적 효과 (The Effect of Elastic Band Exercise Training and Detraining on Body Composition and Fitness in the Elder)

  • 노화가 진행됨에 따라 근육은 감소 현상(sarcopenia)을 나타낸다. 근육의 감소는 노인의 의료비 증가와 직접적인 관련성은 없어 보이지만, 근육의 감소가 근력의 감소로 연결되어 체력의 약화, 활동성의 감소, 낙상의 증가 등과 같은 독립적인 생활을 감소시킨다. 이는 신체장애로 연결되며, 또다시 당뇨, 비만, 고지혈증, 고혈압 등과 같은 만성퇴행성 질환으로 연결된다. 결국, 근감소증은 사망률을 상승시키는 잠재 위험요인이 된다. 본 연구는 탄력밴드 운동을 통한 근감소증 예방과 관련된 변인인 신체조성 및 체력의 향상된 변화와 더불어 운동 중단에 따른 운동효과의 상쇄(相殺) 정도를 살펴보는데 있다. 본 연구의 피검자는 S시 J구 J노인복지관 운동프로그램에 참가하는 60-70대의 노인 14명으로 선정하였다. 12주 동안의 탄력밴드 운동은 주2회의 빈도로 실시하였다. 측정시기는 12주간의 통제전, 통제후(운동전), 12주간의 운동 후(운동중단 전), 12주간의 운동중단 후로 신체조성 과 체력 변인을 측정하였다. 12주간의 통제전·후 신체조성과 체력 변인에는 통계적인 유의차가 나타나지 않았으나, 12주간의 운동전·후 신체조성의 체중(t=2.978, p=0.001), 체질량지수(t=3.502, p=0.004), 체지방율(t=2.216, p=0.045), 근육량(t=-3.837, p=0.002), 내장지방면적(t=5.186, p<0.001), 허리-엉덩이 둘레비(t=3.045, p=0.009) 모든 변인에서, 체력의 2분 제자리 걷기(t=-6.891 p<0.001), 덤벨들기(t=-4.702, p<0.001), 의자에서 일어섰다 앉기(t=-4.860, p<0.001), 의자앉아 앞으로 굽히기(t=-5.910, p<0.001), 등 뒤에서 손잡기(t=-3.835, p=0.002), 244cm 왕복 걷기(t=7.560, p<0.001)의 모든 변인에서 운동의 효과를 나타내었고, 그 효과가 12주간의 운동중단 후에도 신체조성의 체중(t=2.323, p=0.037), 체질량지수(t=2.503, p=0.026), 근육량(t=-3.137, p=0.008) 변인에서, 체력의 2분 제자리 걷기(t=-6.489 p<0.001), 의자에서 일어섰다 앉기(t=-4.694, p<0.001), 의자앉아 앞으로 굽히기(t=-3.690, p=0.003), 244cm 왕복 걷기(t=7.539, p<0.001)의 변인에서 그 유지가 지속되었다. 노인에게 있어서 탄력밴드 운동은 신체조성 및 체력에 긍정적인 영향을 나타내며, 그 운동의 효과가 12주가 경과되어도 유지되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

지체장애인용 수동식 휠체어 디자인 (The Wheelchair Design for Persons with Disabilities)

  • 우리 나라에서도 1981년 UN이 정한 세계장애인의 해를 기점으로 장애인에 대한 인식이 점진적으로 개선되기 시작하였고, 장애 문제에 대한 일반인이 이해도 향상되었다. 본 연구에서는 장애인의 소득수준이나 우리 나라의 복지수준을 고려하여 가장 일반적이고 많이 사용되고 있는 수동식 휠체어를 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 디자인 전개를 위한 본 연구의 주요 분석내용은 다음과 같다. 1. MAN-AMCHINE INTERFACE에 의한 연구 분석/휠체어의 기본개념이 걸어서 이동할 수 없는 사람이 ‘앉아서’이동할 수 있도록 하기 위함이므로 의자에 바퀴를 설치한 기구라는 점을 고려하여 의자와 바퀴와의 상관관계를 중점적으로 연구 분석하였다. 2. 휠체어 주행동작 연구 분석/ 인간공학의 기본이라 할 수 있는 동작반석과 실험측정을 통하여 주행동작시의 움직임 및 그에 따른 동작변화를 관찰하고자 실시한 동자관찰 연구이다. 3. 뒷바퀴 및 핸드림이 사용성에 대한 동작 분석/휠체어의 주요 구성부분인 의자와 바퀴에 해당되는 것으로서, 장애인 본인이 이동할 때 핸드림과 손과의 관계를 실험을 통하여 살펴봄으로써 보다 효율적이고 쾌적함을 줄 수 있는 핸드림에 관한 연구이다. 이상과 같이 세 가지 연구방향으로 추진하여 그 결과 및 자료를 기초로 차체는 접는 식 X형을 기본으로 하고, 운반이 용이하게 최소화할 수 있는 구조 적 디자인을 바탕으로 휠체어의 각 부분을 크게 좌석(공기주머니 방식), 핸드림(미끄럼 방지 턱), 팔걸이(트랜스퍼 동작, 고무 받침대, 조형미), 손잡이(각도 조절, 둥근 형태) 구분, 개선된 휠체어 디자인을 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 기술한 내용은 장애인을 이해하기 위한 목적 중 극히 일부분에 지나지 않는다. 또한 장애인 복지 증진을 위한 많은 사업중의 하나인 재활사업의 중요성, 재활을 위한 보장구 중에 단편적인 한 품목을 연구한 것에 불과하다.

'Elastic tie back'을 이용한 발치공간 폐쇄에 관한 임상적 고려 (CLINICAL CONSIDERATION ON USING THE ELASTIC 'TIE BACKS' DURING SPACE CLOSURE)

  • 치아이동시 생역학을 고려한 frictionless system이 공간폐쇄를 위해 이상적이지만, 이는 숙달된 wire bending이 필요하며 잘못 계산된 교정장치를 사용하였을때 부작용이 매우 클 수 있다. 최근 Straight Wire Appliance가 도입 됨에 따라 복잡한 wire bending없이 "Elastic tie back"을 이용한 공간폐쇄가 가능하지만 alignment와 leveling을 위한 치료기간이 길고 friction과 binding으로 인해 이상적인 교정력을 적용시키는데 어려움이 있다. 그러나 교정환자 수가 많아지고 짧은 치료 기간이 요구되어지는 요즈음에 선택적으로 "Elastic tie back"을 이용하는 공간폐쇄는 부작용을 최소화 하면서 손쉽게 이용할 수 있는 교정장치라고 사료된다.

아쿠아로빅 운동이 노인 여성의 신체구성, 체력 및건강관련 삶의 질(SF-36)에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Aquarobics Exercise on Body Composition, Fitness andHealth Related Quality of Life(SF-36) in Elderly Women)

  • 본 연구는 아쿠아로빅 운동이 노년 여성에게 미치는 신체적, 심리적 효과를 동시에 관찰함으로써, 노인운동처방에 관한 다각도적인 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 피험자는 I시 Y구 보건소 아쿠아로빅 운동프로그램에 참가를 희망하는 60-70대 노년 여성으로 운동군 25명, 통제군 30명으로 분류하였다. 아쿠아로빅 운동은 8주 동안 주 2회 최대여유심박수 40~70%의 운동강도로 실시하여, 운동 전후의 신체구성, 체력 및 건강관련 삶의 질(SF-36)의 변화를 측정하였다. 아쿠아로빅 운동 전후 신체구성의 체중(p=0.044), 체질량지수(p=0.038) 및 체지방률(p=0.005)의 모든 변인에서 시점에 따라 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 체력변인의 의자에서 일어섰다 앉기, 의자앉아 앞으로 굽히기는 시점에 따라 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 2분 제자리걷기(p=0.002), 덤벨들기(p=0.005), 등 뒤에서 손잡기(p=0.023), 244cm 왕복걷기(p<0.001)는 시점에 따라 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 건강관련 삶의 질(SF-36)의 신체기능, 신체역할제한, 감정역할제한, 사회적 기능, 정신건강, 피로는 시점에 따라 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 신체통증(p=0.039)과 일반적인 건강(p=0.024)은 시점에 따라 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 노년 여성에게 있어서 아쿠아로빅 운동은 신체구성의 개선과 체력의 향상을 위한 좋은 운동형태가 될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었으나, 건강관련 삶의 질(SF-36)에 관하여서는 8가지 요인 중 2가지의 일부 요인에서만 긍정적인 영향이 나타났음을 확인할 수 있었다.

정신지체아의 운동교육 Program 적용효과 (The Effects of Exercise Education Programs in Mentally-Handicapped Children)

  • In this research, the mentally-handicapped children being able to be trained were investigated the actual condition of train function making 40 mentally-handicapped children in Kummi Hyedang Spacial Education School, to exmine the effect of physical exercise function when training the mentally-handicapped children who can be trained as applying exercise education programs, and trains for 10 weeks by assigning to both experiment group and control group according to children who are similar to training functions from pre-examination. The results are in following: First, the results of test in the exercise ability of mentally-handicapped children with the degree of being able to trained are very delayed in comparison with normal mental children through the both top and bottom examination. The developments of 5 exercise functions classified by domain, have the order of eyesight exercise, softness, physical strength, quickness, parallelism, the interaction of both eye and hand, and, have the exercise function being equal to the level of between 6 and 12 years old. In 13 bottom test, throwing bean-bag is equal to the nomal 12 years old boy. the board jump, sitting position / bending forward / closing are equal to the level of 12 years old boy. standing with only leg is the level of 9 years old, threading pearls is 7 years old, transfering the wood building, picking the upper body up, walking board, balancing one leg with opened, eye, fist / opening palm / palm, bending and opening arm with postrating on chair, are the exercise functions of below 6 years old. Second, there are great effects in carrying out the exercise education program to the mentally-handicapped children with the level of being able to trained. In experiment group, it is elevated to the middle level of 12 years old nomal children. Classified by domain of test the board jump, training, the bean-bag are far higher level than 12 years old normal children, and are elevated the level of 11 years old boy. Balancing only leg with closed eye is below the level of 10 years old boys, fist / opening palm / palm are the level of 9 years old boys. There and back running, picking the upper body is the level of 9 years old girls. Walking board is the level of 8 years old boys. Bending and opening arm with postrating on chair is the level of 7 rears old boy. Balancing one leg with opened eye is elevated to the level of f years old girls. These functions have the more balanced exercise function rather than pre-examination. In control group, they have little change by classified the bottom test, but have the exercise function on the time of pre-examination, go backward in physical strength. quickness. Third, the exercise function being learned by exercise education program on the mentally-handicapped children of the level with being able to train is appeared to maintain continuately. Softness, physical strength, quickness, eyesight training are maintained the learned exercise function, the interaction of both eye and hands, parallelism are delayed a little. Classified by the bottom test. threading pearls, transfering the wood building, throwing the bean-bag, sitting position / rolling forward / reaching, the broad jump and picking upper body up, there and bark running, picking upper body up, balancing with only leg as opened eye, bending and opening arm with postrating on chair, etc. are maintained. Fist / opening palm / palm, balancing with only leg as opened eye are delayed a little. The change of body position is elevated. Seeing these results, it is appeared to the mentally-handicapped children that the exercise education programs, which is suitable their actual condition and acomplishes in voluntary participation, have very positive effect. So, to develop the function of body exercise in mentally-handicapped children with the level of being to able to be trained, the measures must be groped so that the exercise education programs can be practiced positively, and the ,body exercise can be experienced more.

발목관절 각도에 따른 무릎 폄근의 등속성 근력 평가 (Assessment of Isokinetic Muscle Strength in the Knee Extensor Through the Ankle Joint Angles)

  • Purpose:This study was designed to investigate difference in isokinetic muscle strength in the knee extensor muscle and characteristic differences in muscle strength between males and females through the ankle joint angles. Methods: Seventy-four subjects participated in this study. There were two groups: 36 males and 38 females. The mean age of the men was 24.58 years and women was 23.74 years. Subjects were seated on a CON-TREX LP (leg press) lean to back of chair, and there bodies were fixed by straps with the hip joint at an angle of $130^{\circ}$. After randomly fixing the ankle joint at $0^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, and $40^{\circ}$ of plantar flexion (PF) in range of full extension of knee joint. We studied force max average, force max average/kg, power average, and total work through the angle of the ankle joint when the knee joint was extended from $90^{\circ}$ to $180^{\circ}$. Results: In the male group, all maximum measured value showed at the ankle joint $0^{\circ}$, all minimum measured value showed at $40^{\circ}$ PF (p<0.01). In the female group, all maximum measured value showed at the ankle joint $20^{\circ}$ PF, especially the power average increased significantly. All minimum measured value showed $40^{\circ}$ PF (p<0.01). Conclusion: There are differences between males and females in isokinetic muscle strength of the knee extensor through ankle joint angles in healthy adults. Males and Females have different characteristics of muscle strength through the ankle joint angles.

한국 요양보호사 산업재해의 연도별 변화추이 (Trends of Industrial Injuries among Long-Term Health Care Workers in Korea)

  • Objectives: To investigate the trends of industrial injuries among long-term health care workers in Korea Methods: T7866 injuries were selected from the total industrial injuries approved by the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act(Occupational Safety and Health Act) among long-term health care workers between 2007 and 2016 in Korea. We analyzied the trends of industrial injuries according to work process, occurrence type, and causes. Results: The industrial injuries among long-term health care workers increased since 2012. The mostly occurred area for industrial injuries were low back areas, which is related that the most serious industrial injuries occurred when the one long-term healthcare worker lift manually the recipient, from bed(ondol, Korean floor heating system) to a wheelchair, bed to bath bed, and wheelchair to bath chair. In addition to this, lack of workforce, increased work intensity due to overwork contributed the increasing of occupational injury. Conclusions: This study suggests that the main causes of industrial injuries were Lack of facilities and equipment for small private long-term care institutions, The physical load that goes into lifting the recipient directly, work intensity such as excessive workload and increased work speed. We suggest that the social publicization of long-term care service for the elderly, avoiding ways to lift recipients directly, introducing lifting machines as well as improving working methods, and reducing the workload of caregivers are required.

워싱 가공 종류에 따른 청바지의 패턴 연구 (The Development of Jeans Pattern by Washing Finishing)

  • This study presented a making method of jeans pattern with high fitness after deriving the appropriate shrinkage rate by material and washing process. For this purpose of this study, 6 jeans have been tested after washing finishing and we turned out appropriate shrinkage rate by evaluating the exterior of jeans and usage satisfaction. Then, a making method of jeans pattern was presented after applying the optimized shrinkage rate. According to the result of the exterior evaluation of test jeans, all 6 jeans were rated high with scores close to 3.5. Following the evaluation of satisfaction of usage by physical movement, the highest ranking was in the order of walking with normal steps, back bending $90^{\circ}$, chair sitting, climbing stairs, and squatting. The shrinkage rate by physical area showed the highest score in the order of pants length, waist circumference, thigh circumference, knee circumference, hem circumference, hips circumference. In addition, the shrinkage rate was higher in warp direction than weft direction after washing finishing. As for the result of addition and reduction of pattern measurements by parts of jeans, waist circumference was 2.6${\sim}$5.2cm, hips circumference was 1.3${\sim}$4.2cm, thigh circumference was 0.8${\sim}$3.1cm and knee circumference was 0.7${\sim}$2.5cm. Also, hem circumference was 0.5${\sim}$1.8cm and pants length was 4.0${\sim}$6.2cm. That is, this results showed a wide range of addition and reduction according to material and washing finishing.

비신축성 데님 청바지의 패턴 연구 - 워싱 가공 종류를 중심으로 - (The Development of Jeans Pattern for Non-Stretch Denim Fabrics - The Comparison of Bio, Bio Stone, Bio Stone Bleach Washing Finishing -)

생활한복형 하절교복의 동작기능성 (A Study on the Clothing Easiness of Movement for Casual Hanbok as School Summer Uniform)

  • This study investigated the clothing easiness of movement when wearing casual Hanbok(Saenghwal Hanbok), as a high school student uniform, and produced some recommendations for improving the Hanbok. Casual summer-uniform Hanbok produced from different types of materials were produced for this study. They were P/R, P100, P/C, and P/R/S for the blouses, with P/W, P100, P/R, and P/W/F for the skirts. Their clothing easiness of movement were then tested at $25{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ and $50{\pm}10%$ R. H. The results were as follows: The easiness of movement for casual Hanbok was marked as $3.7l({\pm}1.03)$ on average which is higher than those of other garments, so it can be presumed that the easiness of movement for the tested clothes was quite good. The easiness of movement was lower, however, when students had their arms up front, right arms upright, arms crossed on the cheats, and bent forward whereas they were more comfortable when standing straight and sitting on a chair at 90 degrees. In terms of easiness of movement, the following ranking was revealed: waist, bust, shoulder, back, armhole, and upper arm. The easiness of movement for casual Hanbok skirts was quite good, and on average marked around $4.26({\pm}.77)$. Standing straight was the most comfortable position, when they bend forward 45 degree and 90 degree were the most uncomfortable positions. The buttocks area was also more comfortable than the waist area for casual Hanbok skirts.
