The Improvement of MTG Process for Preparation of YBCO superconductor

  • In the YBCO matrix, 10wt.% Y$_2$BaCuO$\_$5/ (211 phase) was added, the final 211 content of YBCO made by MTG process could reach about 20wt.% which was the optimum value for the critical current density. And also 10wt.% Ag was added in the matrix of YBCO, which was nearly about the saturate solubility of silver in textured YBCO. SmBaCuO crystal was grown by the melted-condensed process. A 5${\times}$5${\times}$2㎣ single crystal of SmBaCuO was used to be the seed in the preparation of YBCO. It was proved the orientation of YBCO was the same as the orientation of the SmBaCuO seed. The oxygen absorption of bulk oriented YBCO was studied and the heat treatment of oxygen absorption would be in flowing oxygen, at 400$^{\circ}C$ for about 24 hours. the magnetic hysteresis loops were measured by Vibrating Smaple Magnetometer and the J$\_$c/ was calcuated by means of Bean's model.

  • The $BaTiO_3+xNb_2O_5$(x=6, 8, 10wt%) ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties of the $BaTiO_3+Nb_2O_5$ ceramics with the sintering temperature and addition of $Nb_2O_5$ were investigated by XRD and SEM. Increasing the sintering temperature, the $2{\theta}$ value of BT(110) peak was shifted to the lower degree and intensity of the $Ba_6Ti_2Nb_8O_{30}$ (133) peak was increased. Increasing the addition of $Nb_2O_5$, the intensity of $BaTiNb_4O_{13}$ (201) peak was decreased and $Ba_6Ti_2Nb_8O_{30}$ (133) peak was increased. The grain size of the $BaTiO_3+Nb_2O_5$ ceramics sintered at $1500^{\circ}C$ were almost uniform.

균일용액침전법을 이용한 침전제의 농도와 합성 시간에 따른 Mn이 대체된 바륨 헥사알루미네이트의 합성의 영향 (Effects of Concentration of Precipitants and Aging Time on Synthesis of Mn-Substituted Barium Hexaaluminates by Homogeneous Precipitation)

  • $BaMnAl_{11}O_{19}$는 요소를 이용한 균일용액침전법으로 제조되었으며, X선 회절분석과 장방출 주사현미경으로 분석되었다. 침전제의 농도가 증가하면서 Al 종은 $Al(OH)_3$에서 AlOOH로 변화되었으며, 소성과정에서 $BaMnAl_{11}O_{19}$ 상으로 쉽게 변화하였다. 합성시간이 증가하면서 $BaMnAl_{11}O_{19}$ 상의 비율은 크게 증가하지 않는 반면 $BaAl_2O_4$ 상의 비율은 급격하게 증가하였다. 금속염 전구체의 반응속도는 Al, Ba, Mn 순으로 빨라, 침전제의 농도와 합성시간에 따라 $BaMnAl_{11}O_{19}$ 상의 비율이 달라진다. $BaAl_2O_4$$BaMnAl_{11}O_{19}$는 촉매 연소 성능을 향상시키고, $BaMnAl_{11}O_{19}$ 만이 CO 배출을 억제시키는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 고상반응법을 사용하여 다양한 활성제 이온 (Eu, Sm, Tb, Tm, Dy)을 도핑한 $BaMoO_4$ 형광체 분말을 제조하였다. 합성한 형광체의 결정 구조는 활성제 종류에 관계없이 $2{\theta}=26.34^{\circ}$에서 주 피크를 갖는 정방정계이었다. 발광스펙트럼의 경우에 첨가한 활성제이온에 따라 다양한 색상을 발생하였다.

  • In this study, the electrical properties were investigated for the deposited Ba,Sr)(Nb,Ti)$O_3$[BSNT] thin films grown on $Pt/TiO_2/SiO_2/Si$ substrate by RF sputtering method. The structural properties of the BSNT thin films affected by the $Ar/O_2$ rates were investigated. In the case of the BSNT thin films deposited with condition of 60/40$(Ar/O_2)$ ratio, the $BaTiO_3$, $SrTiO_3$ and $BaNbO_3$ phases were showed. The composition ratio of Nb and Ti in the BSNT thin films were nearly equivalent. Also, in the BSNT thin films deposited with condition of 60/40 and 80/20$(Ar/O_2)$ ratios, the composition of Ba, Sr, Nb and Ti were relatively uniform. The Ba, Sr, Nb and Ti in the BSTN thin films were not diffused into the Pt layer.

스크린 프린팅법을 이용한 $BaTiO_3/SrTiO_3$ 이종층 후막의 유전특성 (Dielectric Properties of the $BaTiO_3/SrTiO_3$ mutilayered thick tilms by Screen-Printing Method)

  • The dielectric properties of $BaTiO_3/SrTiO_3$ multilayered thick films with printing times were investigated. $BaTiO_3/SrTiO_3$ thick films were deposited by Screen-printing method on alumina substrates. The obtained films were sintered at $1400^{\circ}C$ with bottom electrode(Pt) for 2hours. The structural and the dielectric properties were investigated for various printing times. The BST phase appeared in all of the $BaTiO_3/SrTiO_3$ mutilayered thick films. The $BaTiO_3/SrTiO_3$ multilayered thick film thickness, obtained by one printings, was $50{\mu}m$. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the $BaTiO_3/SrTiO_3$ multilayered thick film, obtained by five printings, were about 266, 0.8% at 1Mhz, respectively.
