높이뛰기의 도약 높이를 증가시키는 역학적 원리와 동작 (Mechanical principles and motions for increasing the height of Fosbury flop)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the principles and motions for increasing the jumping height of Fosbury Flop. The subjects were three male jumpers who were former Korean national team players. Their jumping motions were analyzed using the DLT method of three-dimensional cinematography. The conclusions were as follows. 1. The horizontal velocity of approach run and decreasing of this velocity during the take off phase were increased as the jumping height was increased. Therefore, in order to increase the jumping height, the horizontal velocity of approachrun should be increased and decreased properly during the take-off phase. The average height of the analyzed Dials was 2.15m. The average horizontal velocity of approachrun was 7.49m/s and decreased to 4.16m/s at the instance of take-off. 2. The vertical velocity of the center of gravity was increased as the ascending height of the center of gravity during the take-off phase was increased. Therefore, the center of gravity at the instant of touch down should be lowered. This could be possible by increasing the length of the last stride and the backward lean angle of the body. The average length of the last stride was 111.1% of the standing height, the average height of the center of gravity was 46.6% of the standing height and the average backward lean angle of the body was 40.3 degrees.

  • The shape variation of billet was investigated by numerical method and spray forming work with variation of average substrate withdrawal velocity$\bar{V}$, withdrawal velocity change interval $\Delta$t and velocity deviation from average velocity $V_{dev}$. The shape and diameter with large$\bar{V}$, $\Delta$t, $V_{dev}$ vary seriously. When $\bar{V}$, $\Delta$t, $V_{dev}$ are smaller, the shape of billet is more simillar to that of the billet with constant withdrawal velocity. The average diameter of billet is determined by only $\bar{V}$, independent of $\Delta$t, $V_{dev}$. With $\bar{V}$, : 0.2 mm/sec $\Delta$t: 200 sec and $V_{dev}$. : 0.2mm/sec billet of constant diameter 230mm$\times$ height 1000mm were manufactured.

지반주기를 고려한 다층지반의 평균전단파속도 추정 방법 평가 (Evaluation of Average Shear-wave Velocity Estimation Methods of Multi-layered Strata Considering Site Period)

  • To calculate proper seismic design load and seismic design category, the exact site class for construction site is required. At present, the average shear-wave velocity for multi-layer soil deposits is calculated by the sum of shear-wave velocities without considering of vertical relationship of the strata. In this study, the transfer function for the multi-layered soil deposits was reviewed on the basis of the wave propagation theory. Also, the transfer function was accurately verified by the finite element model and the eigenvalue analysis. Three methods for site period estimation were evaluated. The sum of shear-wave velocities underestimated the average shear-wave velocities of 526 strata with large deviations. The equation of Mexican code overestimated the average shear-wave velocities. The equation of Japanese code well estimated the average shear-wave velocities with small deviation.

  • The kinematically admissible velocity field is developed for the analysis of extruded products. The curving of product in extrusion is caused by the linearly distributed longitudinal velocity on the cross-section of the workpiece at the die exit. In the analysis, the longitudinal velocity in extrusion direction is divided into the uniform velocity and the deviated velocity. In order to satisfy the requrement of the kinematically admissible velocity field, the average value of the deviated velocity should be zero. At the same time, it should linearly change with the distance form the center of gravity of the cross-section of the workpiece. The results of the analysis show that the curvature of product increses with increses in eccentricity of gravity center of the cross-section of workpiece at die entrance form that of the cross-section at the die exit. In the analysis, the longitudinal velocity in extrusion direction is divided into the uniform velocity and the deviated velocity. In order to satisfy the requrement of the kinematically admissible velocity field, the average value of the deviated velocity should be zero. At the same time, it should linearly change with the distance from the center of gravity of the cross-section of the workpiece. 윤활 마찰면의 스코링 저항성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Scoring Resistance In Lubricated Sliding Contact)

  • As a basic study to clarify the scoring resistance in lubricated sliding contact, the temperature rise on frictional surface was analyzed by theoretical method and the effects of various factors on the temperature rise were examined. On the basic of the results obtained theoretically, the practical equations to calculate the maximum average temperature of the contact surface were proposed which are applicable to sliding contact. Then, the effects of sliding velocity and oil temperature on the seizure behavior, and the relation between seizure and temperature rise were investigated. The following conclusions are deduced : The maximum average temperature rise and the other bulk temperature. The former is affected by the size of heat supply region and the sliding velocity, the latter is affected by heat transfer coefficient. Without regard to the operating condition such as sliding velocity, oil temperature and operating time at each load-step, the maximum average temperature just before seizure is nearly constant except in the region of lower velocity. Consequently, the maximum average temperature of the contact surface in boundary lubrication is a useful criterion to predict the scoring of sliding contact.

고속도성(高速度星)의 역학적해석(力學的解釋)에 대(對)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Interpretation of the Dynamical Properties of the High Velocity Stars)

  • The average velocity, 330km/sec. of the high velocity stars with respect to the galactic center is obtained from the data used by Fricke on the assumption that the rotational velocity of the Local Standard of Rest is 250km/sec. Comparing this value with the escape velocity, 380km/sec, at the solar neighborhood which is calculated from Mestel's model of the Galaxy, it is shown that most of the high velocity stars are bound to the Galaxy and that their average apogalacticon is about 40 kpc from the galactic center. And the fact that stars with radial velocities larger than 63km/sec are missing in the direction of galactic rotation of L.S.R. is interpreted as the result partly of the random distribution of the directions of motion of the high velocity stars and partly of the observational errors.

입자상물질과 VOCs 동시제거 실증장치에서 자동차 페인트 부스 발생 paint aerosol과 VOCs의 동시제거 성능 특성 (Performance characteristics of simultaneous removal equipment for paint particulate matter and VOCs generated from a spraying paint booth)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the performance characteristics of the paint particulate and volatile organic compounds(VOCs) simultaneous removal from the spraying paint booth in the laboratory and real site by sticky paint particulate and VOCs simultaneous removal demonstration unit. The sticky paint particulate and VOCs simultaneous removal unit is composed of the horizontal type pleated filter modules and the zig-zag type granular activated carbon packing modules. The test conditions at the laboratory are $50.15g/m^3$ of average paint aerosol concentration and 300 ppm of VOCs concentration which were same as the working conditions of spraying paint booth in the real site. But, the demonstration conditions at the real site are varied according to the working condition of spraying paint booth for the kind of passenger car bodies. The test results at the laboratory obtained that 99% of total particulate collection efficiency at 0.62 m/min of filtration velocity and 84% at 1.77 m/min of filtration velocity. The VOCs removal efficiencies are 97% at $3500hr^{-1}$ of gas hour space velocity and 59% at $10,000hr^{-1}$ of gas hour space velocity. In the real site test, the average removal efficiency of PM10 was measured to be 99.65%, the average removal efficiency of PM2.5 was 99.38%, the average removal efficiency of PM1 was 98.52%, and the average removal efficiency of VOCs was 89%.

  • Author examined the chewing patterns between the 16 normal subjects and the 10 complete denture wearers with LED mandibular tracking device, and analized the chewing envelope and opening, closing velocity during chewing various test foods-standardized carrot, ham and almond. The results were as follows; 1. The chewing envelope of carrot chewing was greater than that of ham chewing in both groups. 2. The average opening velocity was faster than the average closing velocity in both groups. 3. During chewing carrot or almond, the chewing envelope of dentate stoup was greater than that of denture group, but during chewing ham, there was no statistical difference. 4. During chewing carrot or almond the average opening and closing velocity in dentate group were faster than those of denture group.

염료추적자법을 이용한 산지하천의 구간 평균 유속 추정 (Estimation of the Reach-average Velocity of Mountain Streams Using Dye Tracing)

  • 산지하천에서 발생하는 돌발홍수는 특정 지점의 점(Point) 유속보다는 전체 구간의 평균 유속에 따라 이동속도가 결정되며, 구간 평균유속은 하천경사, 하상재료, 수리적 거칠기에 많은 영향을 받는다. 이 연구에서는 하천경사 및 거칠기 높이를 이용하여 산지하천의 구간 평균유속 추정방법을 개발하였다. 염료추적자법(Dye Tracing)을 이용하여 특정 구간의 평균유속을 측정하고, LiDAR 영상으로부터 하천 지형 및 형상을 추출하였다. 거칠기 높이를 산정하기 위해 표면 거칠기 변수(Ra, Rmax, Rz )와 하상재료의 크기(D50, D84)를 이용하였다. 현장 계측자료로부터 무차원 접근법을 이용하여 구간 평균유속과 유량과의 관계식 v = 0.5499Q0.6165 을 도출하였으며, R2 =0.77의 설명력을 나타냈다. 이 연구에 이용된 5개의 거칠기 높이 중 평균 거칠기 높이(Ra)의 RMSE가 0.45로서 다른 거칠기 높이의 범위(0.47-1.04)보다 낮게 나타나 평균 거칠기 높이(Ra)가 구간 평균유속 산정을 위한 거칠기 높이 인자로 가장 적합하다고 판단되었다.

부유된 광물성 입자의 침강 속도에 관한 실험 (Experiment on Settling Velocity of Suspended Mineral Particles)

  • 본 연구는 점착성 퇴적물 예측에 가장 중요한 인자인 침강속도를 강 항만 저수지 그리고 호수에 녹아있는 이온 $(Na^+,\;Cl^-,\;OH^-,\;H^+)$의 첨가 및 밀도의 변화 아래 실시되었다. 정수 중에 부유된 미립자(alumina와 quartz)의 침강 속도는 압력센서(최대 10 mbar)로 측정되었다. 초기 농도 20 g/l에서 alumina와 quartz의 평균 침강속도는 미립자의 응집현상 때문에 최고 값을 보였으며, 이때 각각 최대 평균 침강속도는 0.185 mm/s(alumina)와 0.022 mm/s(quartz)이다. 그 후 증가된 초기농도일 경우 간섭침강 때문에 침강속도는 감소하였다. 또한 증가된 염분에서 두 미립자의 평균속도는 증가하였다. 더구나 alumina의 평균 침강속도는 산성에서 감소하다가 알칼리성에서는 강한 응집현상 때문에 높게 측정되었다. 그러나 quartz의 평균 침강속도는 알칼리성에서 낮은 값을 보였다.
