In this paper, a headset multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) antenna for on-body application is proposed and the antenna performance with body effect and the impact on human body are investigated. The proposed MIMO antenna is composed of two planar inverted-F antennas(PIFA) above ground plane and an isolator located between the two antennas enhance the isolation characteristic. Simulation was carried to analyze the effect of human body on antenna performance when a human body is located in the near field of the antenna. According to the measurement result, the diversity performance of the proposed antenna can be considered good since ECC(Envelope Correlation Coefficient), which commonly indicates the performance of a MIMO antenna, remains below 0.1 over the ISM band. The measured SAR values for antennas 1 and 2 are 0.575 W/kg and 0.571 W/kg, respectively when 250 mW input power in engaged. These values satisfy the FCC guideline which states that the 1-g average SAR should be lower than 1.6 W/kg.
A $2{\times}3$ factorial design was used to study the impact of rearing systems, individual (I) vs. group (G) and different levels of milk/skim milk feeding (three schedules, F1, F2 and F3) on performance of crossbred (Bos indicus ${\times}$ Bos taurus) calves. Six calves (three from each sex) were taken in each group on the basis of their birth weight. All the calves were fed colostrum for three days and thereafter, were allotted to three different milk feeding schedules (F), i.e. milk fed upto 8 weeks of age (F1), milk upto 4 weeks followed by 50% (F2) and 100% (F3) replacement of milk with skim milk in the next 4 weeks. Calf starter and cereal green fodder were fed ad libitum to all the calves beginning from second week of age. A digestibility trial was conducted at 15th week of age to assess nutrient utilization during postweaning period. The digestibilty of dry matter (DM), organic matter, total carbohydrate, ether extract and crude protein (CP) were nonsignificant between the rearing systems and the feeding schedules. There was significantly higher digestibility of NDF and ADF in G than I and in F3 than F1 and F2. The concentration CP and total digestible nutrients of the diet ranged from 17.18 to 17.75% and 66.32 to 70.14%, respectively. The DM intake (kg/100 kg body weight) ranged from 1.74 to 2.14 kg during 0 to 8 weeks and 3.19 to 3.41 kg during 0 to 14 weeks of age. The effects during postweaning phase (9-14 weeks of age) showed increased performance in group housed calves compared to individually housed ones with a superior average daily gain (590 vs. 443 g) and dry matter intake (1.79 vs. 1.64 kg). Above all, replacement of milk with skim milk at 50% level after 4th week followed by complete removal after 6th week of age (F2) seemed to suit better in coping with immediate energy starvation due to sole feeding of skim milk (F3) and they performed the best under group housed system of rearing.

The crystal phases precipitated in various compositions glass of CaO-$SiO_2-P_2O_5$ system, were identified by XRD. E composition (CaO 49.4, $SiO_2\;36.8,\;P_2O_5$ 8.8 wt%) glass in which both apatite(($Ca_{10}(PO_4)_6O$ and $\beta$-wollastonite($CaSiO_3$) crystals would precipitate by heating, was selected as an experimental composition to prepare the glass ceramics with high bending strength and good bioactivity to the living bone. Glass powders of E composition were unidirectionally crystallized at $1050^{\circ}$C in the temperature-gadient furnace and the resultant glass ceramics were characterized. Bending strength of the glass ceramics was also measured. To investigate the bond forming ability between the glass ceramics and living bone tissue, soaking test of glass ceramics in simulated body fluid was carried out. Densed glass ceramics composed of apatite and $\beta$-wollastonite crystal were prepared by unidirectional crystallization under the optimum conditions. (2 0 2) plane of $\beta$-wollastonite crystals tended to grow perpendicularly to the crystallization direction. Average bending strength of this glass ceramics was 186.9 MPa, higher than that of the glass ceramics prepared by isothermal (not directional) crystallization In soaking test, a thin layer of apatite crystallite was formed on surface of the glass ceramics in 3 days. Apatite crystals formed on the glass ceramics could be act a role to make the chemical bond between the glass ceramics and living bone tissue.
Cooking characteristics of ninety five non-glutinous and twenty six glutinous varieties were checked for understanding the varietal variation and interrelationship between the cooking and physicochemical properties of rice grain. The greatest variation in non-glutinous and glutinous rice varieties was observed in iodine blue value and the next large variation was recognized in amount of soluble solid in cooking water. Average values of volume expansion rate, iodine blue value and amounts of soluble solid in cooking water were different among domestic-bred japonica, Korean local and foreign rice varieties. Korean-bred japonica rice cultivars can be classified into several groups having same cooking quality such as <Jangan.·Seoan>, <Jinmi·Ilpum· Daeseong>, <Seohae·Namwon·Yeongduk>, <Chucheong·Bongkwang>, <Odae·Keumo> and <Hwacheong·Donghae·Palgong> by the distribution on the plane of 1st and 2nd principal components contracted from four cooking characteristics. Glutinous rice cultivars can be grouped into several different cooking quality types such as <Nonglimna 1·Suwon 357·Jodo·Inbujinado>, <Sangnambatbyeo·Jeokdo>, <Mujudo·Daigol-mochi>, <Daegoldo·Jindo>, <Jinbuchal·Colored Daegoldo>, <Shinseonchal·Hung-Tsan> and <Agudo·Irakdo> by the same analysis. Positive correlation was found between volume expansion rate and water absorption rate at 21℃. Iodine blue value was correlated negatively with amounts of soluble solid, and positively with amylose content in non-glutinous rices. In glutinous rices volume expansion rate showed positive relationship with iodine blue value, amounts of soluble solid and gel consistency. Iodine blue value was also positively correlated with alkali digestion value in glutinous rice.

The objective of this study is in investigating the research for more accurately quantify the information on mountain forest by using the data on high density LiDAR. For the quantitative analysis of mountain forest resources, we investigated the method to acquire the data on high density LiDAR and extract mountain forest resources. Consequently, the height and girth of a tree each mountain forest resources could be extracted by using the data on high density LiDAR. When using the data on low density LiDAR of 2.5points/m2 in average used to produce digital map, it was difficult to extract the exact height and girth of mountain forest resources. If using the data on high density LiDAR of 7points/m2 by considering topography, the property of mountain forest resources, data capacity and process velocity, etc, it was found that multitudinous entities could be extracted. It was found that mountain topography and mixed topography were generally denser than plane topography and multitudinous mountain forest resources could be extracted. Furthermore, it was also found that the entity at the border could not be extracted, when each partition was individually processed and the area should be subdivided and extracted by considering the process time and property of target area rather than processing wide area at once. We expect to be studied more profoundly the absorption quantity of greenhouse gas later by using information on mountain forest resources in the future.
To analyze and classify the varietal variation of alkali digestibility in detail, which is closely connected with the gelatinization temperature and physical characteristics of cooked rice, the patterns of alkali decomposition changed along the alkali concentration were investigated for thirty three Korean leading rice cultivars and new breeding lines(japonica : 25, Tongil-type:8) including five glutinous rice. Principal component analysis was used to condense the information and to classify rice materials according to decomposed reaction pattern at several levels of potassium hydroxide(KOH) concentration. Thirty three rice varieties were classified largely into four groups by the distribution on the plane of upper two principal component scores which contained above 92% of total informations. Group I was consisted of one variety, Dobongbyeo, which owned almost same strong resistance to alkali digestion at the range of 0.8% to 1.6% KOH solutions. Group II included three japonica and Tongil-type glutinous rice varieties, which revealed medium alkali digestion value(ADV) at 1.4% KOH solution and intermediate change in ADV from 0.8% to 1.6% KOH solutions. Most of Tongil-type and early-maturity japonica rice, which exhibited medium-high ADV at 1.4% of KOH concentration and large ADV difference between low and high alkali solutions, were contained in Group III. Group N included most of medium or medium-late-maturity japonica, which showed high ADV at 1.4% KOH and medium or intermediate-high ADV change between low and high alkali solutions. The 1st principal component indicated the average index of ADV through 0.8-1.6% KOH solutions and the 2nd principal component pointed out the factor related with ADV difference between low and high alkali solutions or regression coefficients of ADV change along with the KOH concentrations.
Purpose: We try to retrospectively evaluated the amount of dorsal angulation angle of the first metatarsal commonly occurring as the complication of proximal dome osteotomy for hallux valgus. Materials and Methods: Between January 2004 and March 2004, 34 patients who underwent proximal dome osteotomy for moderate to severe hallux valgus. Two of 34 patients were male, and thirty-two were female. The average age was 57.6 years. We measured and compared hallux valgus angle, 1st-2nd intermetatarsal angle, dorsal angulation angle of 1st metatarsal on preoperative, postoperative, postoperative 3 weeks', postoperative 3 months' X-ray. Results: Osteotomy sites were completely united on plane X-ray in all cases. The hallux valgus angle averaged $41.2^{\circ}$ ($30{\sim}60^{\circ}$) at preoperative, $4.3^{\circ}$ ($-10{\sim}20^{\circ}$) at postoperative, $5.5^{\circ}$ ($-1{\sim}20^{\circ}$) at 3 weeks after operation, $7.8^{\circ}$ ($-2{\sim}20^{\circ}$) at 3 months after operation. The 1st-2nd intermetatarsal angle averaged $17.1^{\circ}$ ($12{\sim}24^{\circ}$) at preoperative, $6.3^{\circ}$ ($0{\sim}13^{\circ}$) at postoperative, $7.2^{\circ}$ ($0{\sim}15^{\circ}$) at 3 weeks after operation, $8.7^{\circ}$ ($0{\sim}18^{\circ}$) at 3 months after operation. The dorsal angulation angle averaged $0.4^{\circ}$ ($0{\sim}3^{\circ}$) at postoperative, $1.6^{\circ}$ ($0{\sim}7^{\circ}$) at 3 weeks after operation, $2.1^{\circ}$ ($0{\sim}8^{\circ}$) at 3 months after operation. There were no statistically correlation between increase of dorsal angulation angle of the distal segment of the first metatarsal and increase of hallux valgus angle or 1st-2nd intermetatarsal angle. Conclusion: Our results shows that the dorsal angulation of distal fragment occurring after the proximal dome osteotomy in the treatment of hallux valgus may be minimized with meticulous surgery and patient's education.
Various algorithms and architectures for efficient packet classification have been widely studied. Packet classification algorithms based on a decision tree structure such as HiCuts and HyperCuts are known to be the best by exploiting the geometrical representation of rules in a classifier. However, the algorithms are not practical since they involve complicated heuristics in selecting a dimension of cuts and determining the number of cuts at each node of the decision tree. Moreover, the cutting is not efficient enough since the cutting is based on regular interval which is not related to the actual range that each rule covers. In this paper, we proposed a new efficient packet classification algorithm using a range cutting. The proposed algorithm primarily finds out the ranges that each rule covers in 2-dimensional prefix plane and performs cutting according to the ranges. Hence, the proposed algorithm constructs a very efficient decision tree. The cutting applied to each node of the decision tree is optimal and deterministic not involving the complicated heuristics. Simulation results for rule sets generated using class-bench databases show that the proposed algorithm has better performance in average search speed and consumes up to 3-300 times less memory space compared with previous cutting algorithms.
Twenty eight 3-4 month old castrated Black Bengal kids (Capra hircus) were used to determine the effects of source and level of dietary copper (Cu) concentration on their performance and nutrient utilization. Cu was supplemented (0, 10, 20 and 30 mg/kg diet DM) as copper sulfate ($CuSO_4$, $5H_2O$) or copper proteinate (Cu-P). Kids were fed a basal diet containing maize (19.5%), soybean (17.0%), deoiled rice bran (56.5%), molasses (4.0%), di-calcium phosphate and salt (1.0% each) and mineral and vitamin mixture (0.5% each) supplements at 3.5% of body weight to meet NRC (1981) requirements for protein, energy, macro minerals and micro minerals, excluding Cu. The basal diet contained 5.7 mg Cu/kg, 122.5 mg Fe/kg, 110 mg Zn/kg, 0.26 mg Mo/kg and 0.32% S. $CuSO_4$ or Cu-P was added to the basal diet at the rate of 10, 20 and 30 mg/kg. Kids were housed in a well ventilated shed with facilities for individual feeding in aluminum plated metabolic cages. Blood samples were collected from the jugular vein on d 0, 30, 60 and 90 to determine hemoglobin (Hb), packed cell volume (PCV), total erythrocyte count (TEC), total leukocyte count (TLC) and serum enzymes (alkaline phosphatase, alanine transferase and aspertate transferase). A metabolism trial of 6 days duration was conducted after 90 days of experimental feeding. Statistical analysis revealed that source and level of Cu supplementation improved live weight gain (p<0.04) and average daily gain (p<0.01). No significant contribution of source and level of Cu to alter serum serum enzymes was evident. Goats fed Cu-P tended to have higher Hb, PCV and TEC than with $CuSO_4$ supplementation. Cu-P increased digestibility of ether extract (EE, p<0.02) and crude fiber (p<0.05) and showed an increasing trend (p<0.09) for digested crude protein (CP) and crude fiber (CF). Supplemental dose of Cu linearly improved (p<0.02) digestibilities of dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), EE and nitrogen free extract (NFE). Though the absorption of nitrogen (N) was not affected (p>0.10) by both source and dose of Cu, N retention was affected (p<0.04) and there was a significant $Source{\times}Dose$ interaction (p<0.05). Final body weight (BW) was not influenced (p>0.10) by the source of Cu but increasing dose of Cu increased (p<0.04) the BW of kids. TDN intake (g/kg $W^{0.75}$) was higher (p<0.05) with the increased dose of Cu and there was a significant $Source{\times}Dose$ interaction. It was concluded that supplementation of Cu from different sources and varying dose level in a concentrate based diet may improve performance, nutrient utilization and plane of nutrition in castrated Black Bengal kids. The effects on performance and nutrient utilization are more pronounced with Cu-P than $CuSO_4$ supplementation. Higher dose of Cu showed better result than lower dose.
Large eddy simulations have been performed within and over different types of urban building arrays. This paper adopted three dimensionless parameters, building frontal area density (${\lambda}_f$) the variation degree of building height (${\sigma}_h$), and the staggered degree of building range ($r_s$), to study the systematic influence of building spacing, height and layout on wind and turbulent characteristics. The following results have been achieved: (1) As ${\lambda}_f$ decrease from 0.25 to 0.18, the mean flow patterns transfer from "skimming" flow to "wake interference" flow, and as ${\lambda}_f$ decrease from 0.06 to 0.04, the mean flow patterns transfer from "wake interference" flow to "isolated roughness" flow. With increasing ${\lambda}_f$, wind velocity within arrays increases, and the vortexes in front of low buildings would break, even disappear, whereas the vortexes in front of tall buildings would strengthen and expand. Tall buildings have greater disturbance on wind than low buildings do. (2) All the wind velocity profiles and the upstream profile converge at the height of 2.5H approximately. The decay of wind velocity within the building canopy was in positive correlation with ${\lambda}_f$ and $r_s$. If the height of building arrays is variable, Macdonald's wind velocity model should be modified through introducing ${\sigma}_h$, because wind velocity decreases at the upper layers of the canopy and increases at the lower layers of the canopy. (3) The maximum of turbulence kinetic energy (TKE) always locates at 1.2 times as high as the buildings. TKE within the canopy decreases with increasing ${\lambda}_f$ and $r_s$ but the maximum of TKE are very close though ${\sigma}_h$ varies. (4) Wind velocity profile follows the logarithmic law approximately above the building canopy. The Zero-plane displacement $z_d$ heighten with increasing ${\lambda}_f$, whereas the maximum of and Roughness length $z_0$ occurs when ${\lambda}_f$ is about 0.14. $z_d$ and $z_0$ heighten linearly with ${\sigma}_h$ and $r_s$, If ${\sigma}_h$ is large enough, $z_d$ may become higher than the average height of buildings.
