Hybrid 검출방식을 적용한 삼상 선로 응동형 DVR(Dynamic Voltage Restorer) 개발 (Development of Three-Phase Line-Interactive Dynamic Voltage Restorer with Hybrid Detection Method)

  • This paper describes the development of a three-phase line-interactive dynamic voltage restorer with hybrid detection method, which is composed of three H-bridge inverter modules and super-capacitors. The operational feasibility was verified through computer simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC software, and experimental works with a 3kVA prototype. The developed system can compensate the input voltage sag and interruption within 2ms. The maximum allowable duration of voltage interruption is about 4 seconds. The developed system can be effectively used to compensate the voltage interruption in the sensitive load, such as computer, communication devices, and automation devices, and medical equipment. The developed system has a simple structure to be easily implemented with commercially available components, and to be highly reliable in operation.

  • In this study, as the preliminary step for developing an unmanned vehicle to deliver a container-box, we designed and implemented Automatic Guided Vehicle(AGV) Simulator for the purpose of Port Facilities Automation. It is preferable to research the intelligent AGV for delivery all day long. For complementing AGV simulator driving, we used multiple-sensor systems with vision, ultrasonic, IR and adapted the high-speed wireless LAN that satisfies the IEEE 802.11 Standard for bi-directional communication between main processor in AGV and Host computer. Here, we mounted on bottom frame in AGV Pentium-III processor, which combine and compute the information from each sensor system and control the AGV driving, and used the 80C196KC micro-controller to control the actuating and steering motors.

  • Yard cranes are very useful equipments for handing of heavy containers, But rope-driven yard cranes must have a little of sway and skew motion because ropes are passive mechanical device. Therefore rope-driven yard cranes require skilled drivers to depress sway and skew motions. So many researches have been concentrated on anti-sway and anti-skew algorithm controlling trolley speed or rope tension. Although many efforts, the rope-driven method is not proper to an automated yard equipment because of sway and skew motion. This paper will propose a new concept yard crane which has a new structure, overcomes defects of rope-driven cranes and is proper to automation. And we will study its actuality

  • DC-Motor is needed more and more sophisticated control to follow the highest precision of industrial automation and used in a number of control equipment or industrial fields. It is also useful to control single crystal(Al2O3) growth. It is possible to procure a quality crystal utilizing a DC-Motor, if you mix Hydrogen and Oxygen gas properly and keep proper temperature in accordance with time process. Disturbance observer-based robust backstepping load-following control for MHTGRs with actuator saturation and disturbances

  • This paper presents a disturbance observer-based robust backstepping load-following control (DO-RBLFC) scheme for modular high-temperature gas-cooled reactors (MHTGRs) in the presence of actuator saturation and disturbances. Based on reactor kinetics and temperature reactivity feedback, the mathematical model of the MHTGR is first established. After that, a DO is constructed to estimate the unknown compound disturbances including model uncertainties, external disturbances, and unmeasured states. Besides, the actuator saturation is compensated by employing an auxiliary function in this paper. With the help of the DO, a robust load-following controller is developed via the backstepping technique to improve the load-following performance of the MHTGR subject to disturbances. At last, simulation and comparison results verify that the proposed DO-RBLFC scheme offers higher load-following accuracy, better disturbances rejection capability, and lower control rod speed than a PID controller, a conventional backstepping controller, and a disturbance observer-based adaptive sliding mode controller.

실시간 EtherCAT 마스터 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Implementation of Real-time EtherCAT Master)

  • EtherCAT is an Ethernet-based fieldbus system standardized in IEC 61158 and SEMI, and widely used in the fields of factory automation, semiconductor equipment and robotics. In this paper, a real-time EtherCAT master is implemented on Linux operating systems and its performances are evaluated. To enhance the real-time capability of mainline Linux kernel, Xenomai is applied as a real-time framework and an open source EtherCAT master stack, Simple Open EtherCAT Master (SOEM), is installed on it. Unlike other studies, the real-time performance of the EtherCAT master is evaluated at the output of the network interface card, so that the evaluation results include all possible effects from the EtherCAT master system. The implemented EtherCAT master can send and receive packets up to 20KHz control frequency with low jitter, even in stressed condition.

  • EtherCAT is an Ethernet-based fieldbus system standardized in IEC 61158 and SEMI, and widely used in the fields of factory automation, semiconductor equipment and robotics. In this paper, an EtherCAT master is implemented on an embedded board with Arm based 64-bit quad-core processor and its jitter performance is evaluated at the output of the network interface to include all the effects of the entire system in the results. For the EtherCAT master system, an open source EtherCAT master stack, Simple Open EtherCAT Master (SOEM), is installed on PREEMPT_RT patched Linux operating system for real-time operation. The results show that the jitter performance is comparable to that of Xenomai-based master and the EtherCAT master with two master instances has similar jitter performance to the EtherCAT master with one master instance.

딥러닝 기반 선박 부식 자동 검출을 위한 이미지 전처리 방안 연구 (A Study on Image Preprocessing Methods for Automatic Detection of Ship Corrosion Based on Deep Learning)

  • Corrosion can cause dangerous and expensive damage and failures of ship hulls and equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the vessel by periodic corrosion inspections. During visual inspection, many corrosion locations are inaccessible for many reasons, especially safety's point of view. Including subjective decisions of inspectors is one of the issues of visual inspection. Automation of visual inspection is tried by many pieces of research. In this study, we propose image preprocessing methods by image patch segmentation and thresholding. YOLOv5 was used as an object detection model after the image preprocessing. Finally, it was evaluated that corrosion detection performance using the proposed method was improved in terms of mean average precision.

STM32 마이크로 컨트롤러에서 SOEM을 이용하는 EtherCAT 마스터 구현 (Implementation of an EtherCAT Master with SOEM on STM32 Microcontroller)

  • EtherCAT is an Ethernet-based fieldbus system standardized in IEC 61158 and SEMI, and widely used in the fields of factory automation, semiconductor equipment and robotics. In this paper, without operating system, we have implemented an EtherCAT master with an open source EtherCAT master stack SOEM on STM32 Nucleo-144 board with an STM32F767 microcontroller. And its jitter performance has been evaluated at the output of the network port to include all the effects of the entire system in the results. The results show that the implemented EtherCAT master has precise control performance for control frequencies from 1KHz to 8KHz and relatively superior jitter performance compared to the EtherCAT masters with real-time patched Linux operating system.

스마트시티 건설현장에 활용된 머신 가이던스 시스템의 실무 활용사례 분석 및 개선방안 제시 (Analysis of Practical Use Cases and Proposal for Improvements of Machine Guidance System Utilized in Smart City Construction Projects)

  • 본 연구는 국내 최초 스마트시티로 지정된 건설 현장에 적용된 스마트건설장비의 효과를 분석하여 향후 스마트건설장비의 발전 및 활성화 방안을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 토목공사 현장에 적용되는 대표적 스마트건설장비인 머신가이던스(Machine Guidance; MG)기술에 의한 안전시스템과 시공시스템의 실제적 활용 효과와 문제점을 분석한 후에 개선방안을 제시하였다. MG안전시스템과 MG시공시스템 모두 결과적으로 시공성 개선에 충분히 활용성이 있음을 파악하였고, MG시스템에 의한 작업결과의 승인문제와 잦은 현장 장비교체에 의한 시스템 변경문제, 고령의 현장 근로자의 사용성 개선문제 등이 속히 해소해야 할 과제로 분석되었으며, 연구에서는 이러한 문제에 대해 현장에서 해결한 일부 방안을 제시하였다. 연구에서 제시한 활용효과와 문제점 등은 머신가이던스기술을 현장에 상당기간 실제로 적용한 후에 직접 활용한 근로자와 관리자 등을 통하여 분석하였으므로, 장비자동화를 위한 실증적 분석 자료가 많지 않은 점에서 향후 유사 현장에 적용하기 위한 선행자료로 활용성을 갖을 수 있다.
