In this paper, we propose a novel tracking method which uses image features consisted of the area, average intensity, aspect ratio of a target image for the real-time IR surveillance system. The image features of the ground target can be modeled as a random process with exponential autocorrelation function mathematically. Finally, we derived a discrete target dynamic equation including kinematic states and geometric states of the target. Simulation results shows that the performance of the proposed method is better than that of the previous tracking method.
The Velocity Autocorrelation Function (VAF) of the sodium ions is calculated for a range of temperature from 250K to 1000K and converted into the linear ac-conductivity and ac-susceptibility response via Fourier transformation. A peak is found in the conductivity around $6{\times}10^{12}$ Hz that has some of the character of a Poley absorption. Here it is shown to be due to an harmonically coupled site vibrations of the sodium atoms, which extend only over a limited range. At frequencies below the peak the conductivity tends towards a constant i.e. dc value corresponding to a constant flow of ions through the simulation cell. At high temperatures the conductivity due to this ion transport process behaves like a metal with an insulator to metal transition occurring around a specific temperature.
The equilibrium molecular-dynamic simulations have been performed to estimate the properties of the three kinds of fluids confined between two plates that are separated by 1.086 nm; included in the statical properties are the density distribution and the static structure, and the autocorrelation velocity function in the dynamic property. Three kinds of fluids considered in this study are the Lennard-Jones fluid, water and aqueous sodium-chloride solution. The water molecules are modeled by using the SPC/E model and the ions by the charged Lennard-Jones particle model. To treat the water molecules, we combined the quaternion coordinates with Euler angles. We also proposed a plausible algorithm to assign the initial position and direction of molecules. The influence of polarization of water molecules as well as the presence of ions in the solution on the properties will be addressed in this study. In addition, we performed the non-equilibrium molecular-dynamic simulation to compute the flow velocity for the case with the gravitational force acting on molecules.

The pitch predictor is one of the most important part for the robust tree coder. The hybrid backward pitch adapation which is a combination of a block adaptation and a recursive adaptation is used for the pitch predictor. In order to improve the error performance and track the pitch period change of the input speech, it is proposed to smooth the input of the pitch predictor. The smoother with three taps can have fixed coefficients or variable coefficients depending on the estimated autocorrelation function of the output of the pitch synthesizer. The inclusion of a variable smoother can track the pitch period change within a block and reduce the effect of channel errors.

It is well known that point positioning using a C/A-code receiver is severely biased by errors in pseudorange. This paper shows the procedures of quantitive analysis for several error elements and that some methods to monitor SA(selective availability) of witch process is not opened are proposed. It is possible to verify the effects of SA in the Doppler shift and receiver clock drift variation. Easy methods to reduce SA effects are to fit second order polynomials for the one and a linear function for the other. With periodic autocorrelation functions. SA effects are analyzed and first order Gauss-Markov process parameters are decided.

The missing data patterns of tidal elevation data in Korean coasts are analysed and provided. The missing interval of the data is displayed for all stations using the missing data indicator matrix in order to identify the overall missing pattern. The spatial and temporal missing rates are also estimated. The total missing rate of tidal elevation data is low. However, most of the missing is mainly derived from just 1 or 2 specific stations. The autocorrelation function of the consecutive missing interval data also shows that the missing interval occurs randomly.

MIT has been applied for nonfluent aphasic patients on the basis of lateralization of brain hemisphere. However, its applications for different languages have some inquiry for aphasic patients because of prosodic and rhythmic differences. The purpose of this study is to develop the Korean Melodic Intonation Therapy program using personal computer and its clinical effects for nonfluent aphasic patients. The algorithm was composed to voice analog signal, PCM, AMDF, Short-time autocorrelation function and center clipping. The main menu contains pitch, waveform, sound intensity and speech files on window. Aphasic patients' intonation patterns overlay on selected kMIT patterns. Three aphasic patients with or without kMIT training participated in this study. Four affirmative sentences and two interrogative sentences were uttered on CSL by stimulus of ST. VOT, VD, Hold and TD were measured on Spectrogram. In addition, articulation disorders and intonation patterns were evaluated objectively on spectrogram. The results indicated that nonfluent aphasic patients with kMIT training group showed some clinical effects of speech intelligibility based on VOT, TD values, articulation evaluation and prosodic pattern changes.
The groundwater level distribution and characteristics of responses to rainfall were examined in the Haean basin of Yangu that has a single stream exit to the east. The groundwater levels showed a circular or elliptical distribution converging the center of the basin with different hydraulic gradients in the north and south regions. The waterlevel elevations exhibited a perfect correlation with topographic elevation ($r^2=0.99$) while the depth to water showed a rather weak correlation ($r^2=0.49$). The water table fluctuation (WTF) method yielded recharge ratios of 6.1~12.65% ($S_y=0.02$) and 15.2~28.5% ($S_y=0.05$). The waterlevels of HG3 well, which is much proximal to a stream, were weakly auto-correlated but they were highly sensitive to direct infiltration from the rainfall event. The shorter regulation times of the HG3 represented a quicker dissipation of the input stress (rainfall).

The Cognitive Radio (CR) technology is a promising solution for exploiting the limited spectrum resources and providing flexibility of spectrum usage. Future interactive broadcasting service can be realized by utilizing CR concept, since the up-link return channel can be found by the spectrum sensing method, which is core functional block of the CR system. In this paper, the spectrum sensing technologies of CR system is presented. First the system architecture of the CR with spectrum sensing block is presented. The suggested spectrum sensing technique consists of the coarse and the fine spectrum sensing. The coarse spectrum sensing technique adopted the wavelet transform to provide the multi-resolution sensing feature - Multi-Resolution Spectrum Sensing (MRSS). The fine spectrum sensing technique uses the beneficial properties of the autocorrelation function Analog Auto-Correlation (AAC). The simulation results for the proposed sensing technologies are presented for various incumbent signals.

Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations have been used to model the dynamics of the charge-compensating sodium ions in the non-stoichiometric hollandite Nax$(Ti_{8-x}Cr_x)O_{16}$. These interstitial ions reside in 'tunnels' in the crystal structure and move under the forces of both the ions making up the cage structure and the many body interactions of the other sodium ions in the tunnel. The Velocity Autocorrelation Function (VAF) of the sodium ions is calculated for a range of temperature from 250K to 1000K and converted into the linear ac-conductivity and ac-susceptibility response via Fourier transformation. A peak is found in the conductivity around $6\times10^{12}$ Hz that has some of the character of a Poley absorption.
