Indirect bonding is done by placing the brackets on a model in the laboratory and using a template or tray to transfer the laboratory positioning to the teeth. The advantages of this technique are 1. decreased chair time 2. less patient discomfort 3. accuracy of a attachment placement 4. good adaptation of attachment to tooth contour 5. occlusal relationship of brackets and opposing teeth can be checked The disadvantages of the technique are 1. complex laboratory procedure 2. sometimes difficult on very short clinical crowns 3. teeth with crowns, large buccal restoration will not bond 4. may not be fitted close, if poor adaptation 5. likely to be disturbed setting Several indirect bonding techniques have proved reliable in clinical practice. However, they differ in the way the brackets are attached temporarily to the model, the type of transfer tray or other mechanism used, the adhesive or sealant employed, whether segmented or full bonding used, and the way the transfer is removed so as not to exert excessive force on a still maturing bond.

To study kinematics of solar prominences, we have made Ha spectrographic study of an eruptive prominence which appeared on the 27th of August, 1992 with a position angle of 270 deg. The observation was carried out by a Littrow type spectrograph and a G1 CCD camera attached to the 25cm coronagraph at Norikura Coronal Station. In taking the spectral data the slit was placed in parallel to the solar limb at 7 different heights, each being separated by 5 arcsec with a time step of 30 sec. The observed eruptive prominence shows a wide range of line of sight Doppler velocity, spanning from $V_{dopp}=-17.5km/s\;to\;V_{dopp}=58.2km/s$. It is also found that the velocity increases with height at the rate of ${\Delta}V= 0.86 km/s/arcsec$.

This paper is concerned with the development of linear magnetic actuator for active vibration control. The newly developed linear magnetic actuator consists of permanent magnets and copper coils. On the contrary to the voice-coil type actuator, the linear magnetic actuator utilizes magnetic flux to generate the shaft movement. In this study, experiments on the prototype linear magnetic actuator were carried out to investigate its dynamic characteristics. Block and inertia forces generated by the actuator were measured. The experimental results show that the actuator can be used as both actuator and active tuned-mass damper. The linear magnetic actuator was attached to a cantilever as the active-tuned mass damper and active vibration control experiment was carried out. The experimental results show that the newly developed linear magnetic actuator can be effectively used for the active vibration control of structures.

The dwelling transformations of Xiao-He-Long town have been begun with China Economy Policy in 1904. The characteristics of change progress are as follows ; 1. As with pine tree living for a thousand years and increasing profits nearby Yian-Ji-Shi, Xiao-He-Long town as rural district has changed in appearance. 2. In accordance with improvement of rural life after China Reformation and Open Economy policy, residents have a tendency to secure a minimal house site area $400{\sim}500m^2$, and a spacious house which is able to consist barns for farming. 3. Dwelling plan type If Korean-Chinese consists of 'whetongjib, 6 module of Korean traditional unit. 'Whetongjib' has undergone with a corridor attached in porch, main entrance from south to north. 4. Construction materials as structural members bring about a change as result of influencing economic profits nearby Yian-Ji-Shi.

A single-phase induction motor with it's stator winding splitted into two series windings, of which the terminals of one winding is switched pulsationally by a thyristor type ON-OFF device so that the motor may operate as a pulsational shaded-pole motor, can modulate current waveforms of it's two series windings. In view of current waveform modulation method, a single-phase single-winding motor operates as a two-phase induction motor with asymmetrical axis windings where the starting torque can be obtained effectively without an auxiliary capacitor attached and it's running speed controlled by shifting phase between current waveforms differently. Equivalent circuit for analysis is modified from a double revolving field equivalent circuit of a single-phase induction motor with asymmetrical windings whose angle is 45.deg.C elet. degrees. Analysis and test results show that ON-OFF action of the pulsational shaded-pole winding has the same effect of a series capacitor, and then at heavy loads this motor operates with a small amonut of the input current than that having the fixed shaded-pole winding.

Strain gages were widely used transducers. Essentially a strain gage was an electric element to which an appropriate type was attached. Strain was sensed by gages and provided electrical output proportional to applied forced. This paper describes the recent development of a thick film strain gage ceramic pressure sensors. The thick film resistors as strain gage in the Wheatstone bridge were fabricated with a novel mixture of ruthenium. The thick-film technology of resistors were printed on the ceramic diaphragm back side by screen printing and cured at $850^{\circ}C$. The mechanical measurements were performed with the computer simulation results(ANSYS 5.1). The output sensitivity was 1.2mV/V, of which max. nonlinearity was less than 0.29%, hysteresis was less than 0.38%FS.

This paper presents a new algorithm for solving the inverse kinematics in real-time applications. The end-tip movement of each link can be resolved into the basic resolution unit, .DELTA.l, which depends on link length, reduction ratio and resolution of the incremental encoder attached to the joint. When x- and y-axis projection of the end-tip movement are expressed in .DELTA.l unit, projectional increments .DELTA.x and .DELTA.y become -1, 0 or I by truncation. By using the incremental computation with these ternary value and some simple logic rules, a coordinate transformation can be realized. Through this approach, it should be noted that the floating-point arithmetic and the manipulation of trigonometric functions are completely eliminated. This paper demonstrates the proposed method in a parallelogram linkage type, two-link arm.

We present some results of the spectral analysis for Type Ia supernova SN 2011fe in M101, which was discovered by the Palomar Transient Factory on August 24 2011 UT. We performed spectroscopic observations for SN 2011fe at Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory with the high resolution echelle spectrograph BOES attached to 1.8-m reflector. Spectra of 18 epochs are obtained from September 6 2011 to April 1 2012 UT. Spectral feature variations for several significant lines and explosion mechanism will be discussed.

This paper proposes a swing-arm type dual-stage actuator, which consists of a PZT actuator for fine motion and a VCM(Voice Coil Motor) for coarse motion, for SFF ODD(Small Form Factor Optical Disk Drive), in order to achieve fast access speed and precise track following control. We focus our attention on the design and control of the PZT actuator, because there have been a lot of previous researches related to the VCM and dual-stage actuators. Due to the dual cantilever structure, the PZT actuator can generate precise translational tracking motion at its tip where optical pickup is attached at, and the effect of hysteric behavior of the PZT element is reduced. The dynamic model of the PZT actuator is derived by using the Hamilton's principle, and verified by comparing with the experimental frequency response. The sliding mode control is designed in order to be robust against modeling uncertainties. Simulations and experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the suggested control scheme.

Polysiphonia pacifica is rhodomelaceous red algal species that includes five varieties in Pacific Ocean: P. pacifica var. delicatula, P. pacifica var. distans, P. pacifica var. determinata, P. pacifica var. disticha, and P. pacifica var. gracilis. We here report morphology and phylogeny of P. pacifica to confirm the relationships among previously described varieties as a loan of type specimens from US and to assess phylogenetic relationships of closely related species using plastid protein-coding rbcL gene. Polysiphonia pacifica is distinguished by having creeping filaments attached by unicellular rhizoids not cut off by cross walls, four pericentral cells, ecorticate, trichoblasts rare, ultimate branchlets attenuate at the tip but not pungent, and tetrasporangia in long straight series in the ultimate branchlets. The protein-coding plastid rbcL gene sequence data show that P. pacifica is distinctly different from the superficially similar species, P. morrowii and P. stricta. However, the rbcL sequences of P. pacifica var. pacifica and var. disticha are identical though they have morphological variation.
