Data mining usually deal with undesigned massive data containing many variables for which their characteristics and association rules are unknown, therefore it is actually not easy to interpret the results of analysis. In this paper, it is shown that decision tree can be very useful in interpreting data mining prediction model using two real examples.
In this study, big data analysis was conducted for domestic and international sports goods brands. Text Mining, TF-IDF, Opinion Mining, interestity graph were conducted through the social matrix program Textom and the fashion data analysis platform MISP. In order to examine the recent recognition of sports brands, the period of study is limited to 1 year from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017. As a result of analysis, first, we could confirm the products representing each brand. Second, I could confirm the marketing that represents each brand. Third, the common words extracted from each brand were identified. Fourth, the emotions of positive and negative of each brand were confirmed.
Recent interests in data mining result from the expansion of the amount of business data and the growing business needs for extracting valuable knowledge from the data and then utilizing it for decision making process. In particular, recent advances in association rule mining techniques enable us to acquire knowledge concerning sales patterns among individual items from the voluminous transactional data. Certainly, one of the major purposes of association rule mining is to utilize acquired knowledge in providing marketing strategies such as cross-selling, sales promotion, and shelf-space allocation. In spite of the potential applicability of association rule mining, unfortunately, it is not often the case that the marketing mix acquired from data mining leads to the realized profit. The main difficulty of mining-based profit realization can be found in the fact that tremendous numbers of patterns are discovered by the association rule mining. Due to the many patterns, data mining experts should perform additional mining of the results of initial mining in order to extract only actionable and profitable knowledge, which exhausts much time and costs. In the literature, a number of interestingness measures have been devised for estimating discovered patterns. Most of the measures can be directly calculated from what is known as a contingency table, which summarizes the sales frequencies of exclusive items or itemsets. A contingency table can provide brief insights into the relationship between two or more itemsets of concern. However, it is important to note that some useful information concerning sales transactions may be lost when a contingency table is constructed. For instance, information regarding the size of each market basket(i.e., the number of items in each transaction) cannot be described in a contingency table. It is natural that a larger basket has a tendency to consist of more sales patterns. Therefore, if two itemsets are sold together in a very large basket, it can be expected that the basket contains two or more patterns and that the two itemsets belong to mutually different patterns. Therefore, we should classify frequent itemset into two categories, inter-pattern co-occurrence and intra-pattern co-occurrence, and investigate the effect of the market basket size on the two categories. This notion implies that any interestingness measures for association rules should consider not only the total frequency of target itemsets but also the size of each basket. There have been many attempts on analyzing various interestingness measures in the literature. Most of them have conducted qualitative comparison among various measures. The studies proposed desirable properties of interestingness measures and then surveyed how many properties are obeyed by each measure. However, relatively few attentions have been made on evaluating how well the patterns discovered by each measure are regarded to be valuable in the real world. In this paper, attempts are made to propose two notions regarding association rule measures. First, a quantitative criterion for estimating accuracy of association rule measures is presented. According to this criterion, a measure can be considered to be accurate if it assigns high scores to meaningful patterns that actually exist and low scores to arbitrary patterns that co-occur by coincidence. Next, complementary measures are presented to improve the accuracy of traditional association rule measures. By adopting the factor of market basket size, the devised measures attempt to discriminate the co-occurrence of itemsets in a small basket from another co-occurrence in a large basket. Intensive computer simulations under various workloads were performed in order to analyze the accuracy of various interestingness measures including traditional measures and the proposed measures.

Association rule mining is a method of showing the relationship between patterns hidden in several tables. These days, granulation logic is used to add more detailed meaning to association rule mining. In addition, unlike the existing system that recommends using existing data, the granulation related rules can also recommend new subscribers or new products. Therefore, determining the qualitative size of the granulation of the association rule determines the performance of the recommendation system. In this paper, we propose a granulation method for subscribers and movie data using fuzzy logic and Shannon entropy concepts in order to understand the relationship to the movie evaluated by the viewers. The research is composed of two stages: 1) Identifying the size of granulation of data, which plays a decisive role in the implications of the association rules between viewers and movies; 2) Mining the association rules between viewers and movies using these granulations. We preprocessed Netflix's MovieLens data. The results of meanings of association rules and accuracy of recommendation are suggested with managerial implications in conclusion section.

The development of big data technology was to more accurately predict diversified contemporary society and to more efficiently operate it, and to enable impossible technique in the past. This technology can be utilized in various fields such as the social science, economics, politics, cultural sector, and science technology at the national level. It is a prerequisite to find valuable information by data mining techniques in order to analyze big data. Data mining techniques associated with big data involve text mining, opinion mining, cluster analysis, association rule mining, and so on. The most widely used data mining technique is to explore association rules. This technique has been used to find the relationship between each set of items based on the association thresholds such as support, confidence, lift, similarity measures, etc. This paper proposed cosine net confidence as association thresholds, and checked the conditions of interestingness measure proposed by Piatetsky-Shapiro, and examined various characteristics. The comparative studies with basic confidence and cosine similarity, and cosine net confidence were shown by numerical example. The results showed that cosine net confidence are better than basic confidence and cosine similarity because of the relevant direction.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the economic potential of the regions from the mining sector of North Morowali, Central-Sulawesi, Indonesia, and the formulation of pro-business regional development management that aims to create synergy between the local government and mining sector entrepreneurs. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by taking data in the form of primary data from FGD and secondary data observations from statistical bureau data in the North Morowali, Indonesia. The analysis unit uses SWOT analysis to determine the economic potential of the North Morowali and Location Quotient (LQ) to analyze the economic potential of the mining sector. The research period covers one year (2018-2019) in North Morowali, Indonesia. All the mining products have considerable potential as a financing unit in North Morowali, while mining potential has not been maximally exploited. The absence of regulations, facilities such as road access, and optimal land and sea transportation are the causes of the difficulty of optimization and access to explore mining products comprehensively. As a new province at Central Sulawesi, more efforts and the role of government are needed to focus attention to North Morowali as an area with great potential in the mining sector.
We study on the privacy preserving data mining, PPDM for short, by using randomization. The theoretical PPDM based on the secure multi-party computation techniques is not practical for its computational inefficiency. So we concentrate on a practical PPDM, especially randomization technique. We survey various privacy measures and study on the privacy preserving mining of association rules by using randomization. We propose a new randomization operator, binomial selector, for privacy preserving technique of association rule mining. A binomial selector is a special case of a select-a-size operator by Evfimievski et al.[3]. Moreover we present some simulation results of detecting an appropriate parameter for a binomial selector. The randomization by a so-called cut-and-paste method in [3] is not efficient and has high variances on recovered support values for large item-sets. Our randomization by a binomial selector make up for this defects of cut-and-paste method.
Generally, data mining is the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information that can be used to increase revenue, cuts costs, or both. It allows users to analyze data from many different dimensions or angles, categorize it, and summarize the relationships identified. Technically, data mining is the process of finding correlations or patterns among dozens of fields in large relational databases. Data mining is one of the fastest growing field in the computer industry. Because of According to computer technology has been improving, Massive customer data has stored in database. Using this massive data, decision maker can extract the useful information to make a valuable plan with data mining. Data mining offers service providers great opportunities to get closer to customer. Data mining doesn't always require the latest technology, but it does require a magic eye that looks beyond the obvious to find and use the hidden knowledge to drive marketing strategies. Automotive market face an explosion of data arising from customer but a rate of increasing customer is getting lower. therefore, we need to determine which customer are profitable clients whom you wish to hold. This paper builds model of customer loyalty detection and analyzes customer buying patterns in automotive market with data mining using decision tree as a quinlan C4.5 and basic statics methods.
The technological development in the era of the 4th industrial revolution is changing the paradigm of various industries. Various technologies such as big data, cloud, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and the Internet of Things are used, creating synergy effects with existing industries, creating radical development and value creation. Among them, the logistics sector has been greatly influenced by quantitative data from the past and has been continuously accumulating and managing data, so it is highly likely to be linked with big data analysis and has a high utilization effect. The modern advanced technology has developed together with the data mining technology to discover hidden patterns and new correlations in such big data, and through this, meaningful results are being derived. Therefore, data mining occupies an important part in big data analysis, and this study tried to analyze data mining techniques that can contribute to the logistics field and common logistics using these data mining technologies. Therefore, by using the AHP technique, it was attempted to derive priorities for each type of efficient data mining for logisticalization, and R program and R Studio were used as tools to analyze this. Criteria of AHP method set association analysis, cluster analysis, decision tree method, artificial neural network method, web mining, and opinion mining. For the alternatives, common transport and delivery, common logistics center, common logistics information system, and common logistics partnership were set as factors.
