  • With the increasing use of the Internet improved Internet technologies as well as web-based applications, the effectiveness assessment of e-Learning has become one of the most practically and theoretically important issues in both Educational Engineering and Information Systems. This study suggests a research model, based on an e-Learning success model, the relationship of the e-learner's self-regulated learning strategy and the quality perception of the e-Learning environment. This research model focuses on the learning environment and on e-learning strategy. The former consists of learning management system, learning content quality and service quality that are provided by e-Loaming. The latter refers to the learners' self-regulated learning strategy. We will show the validity of the model empirically.

Procedural Improvements to the Comprehensive Impact Assessment of IMO GHG Reduction Measures

  • The International Maritime Organization (IMO) Marine Environmental Protection Committee (MEPC) may adopt actions after completing impact assessments and reviewing results in accordance with the original strategy and impact assessment procedure (MEPC.1/Circ.885). The assessment of the impact of greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction measures is an important step in determining whether to implement GHG regulations. This study identifies and proposes improvements in the impact assessment procedure for future mid- and long-term measures. Improvements for future measures should start with a review of "the procedure for assessing impacts on states of candidate measures" and "the actual process of the comprehensive impact assessment for short-term measures in 2021." The procedural improvements were largely derived from the order and period of task performance, the clear definition of terms, and the review of task results through lessons learned, analysis, and expert workshops. The impact assessment of future mid- and long-term measures should be procedurally improved to ensure uniformity and consistency, which will provide objective results for Member States and industries to help smooth the adoption of measures.

  • This paper is the environmental impact assessment of at road design in the light of the sense for the real from the virtual reality. For in this papers, This study developed 3D-model and virtual reality contents by suggesting the environmental impact assessment based on GIS in the road design. And, through this process, it's possible to visualize the environmental impact assessment by constructing the 3D-model and simulation. The 3D-model can be a method to show the road effectively by maximizing the road's shape visually after the construction. The main construction which composes polyhedron model that is generated from digital map and aerial photo is built by mapping the real texture, so the Sense for the Real was more heightened. Through this study, it must be made to shorten a long time exhausting period of conference and construct more real road after due scene consideration by specific and various low-cost strategy in the environmental impact assessment afterwards.

  • This paper pretends to study the potentialities of feedback, particularly in the development of a written report in two phases and in portfolio; and the main difficulties that teachers has to face concerning this assessment practice. Through a meta-analysis concerning different studies, it is possible to say that oral or written feedback, intentionally provided to students of several ages, may enable them to develop their self-assessment capacity and to get close of the expected product. However, the type of student and his or her perceptions may influence the effectiveness of feedback. Even for experience teachers, this practice maintains complex.

  • The purposes of this study were to : a) develop the quality assessment tool of hospital foodservice management, b) evaluate the S hospital's foodservice quality by this tool, and c) do the feasibility study about this tool in hospital food-service field by establishing quality management strategies. The developed quality assessment tool of hospital food-service management was consisted of 20 items for quality evaluation by Likert 5 point scale and two additional questions with the most satisfactory item and the most unsatisfactory item. As a result of evaluation, S hospital's foodservice quality was somewhat high, on the factor 'personnel attitude', especially. The IPA technique proved nine items including Q5, Q7, Q8, Q11, Q12, Q13, Q15, Q16, Q17 were in 'Doing Great, Keep It Up' and seven items such as Q1, Q2, Q3, Q6, Q9, Q18, Q19 that got high expectation and low perception needed to be focused in quality management strategy.

  • An area of severity (AOS) assessment is defined as a set of the fault positions that can result in the voltage sag bigger than certain level for sensitive buses simultaneously. Using the AOS assessment, the location of devices for compensating voltage sag can be determined as the site expected to less voltage sag at the sensitive bus. The energy storage system based on the control strategy emulating the traditional synchronous generator can contribute the fault current with fast response. Therefor are of venerability (AOV) can be reduced. The energy storage system installed by the AOS assessment has function which can experience relatively less voltage sag in addition to the conventional role of energy storage.

  • Recently, it is becoming the big issue internationally where the safety problem of the industrial product including the foodstuffs. The way is able to construct the trust of the consumer that the external specialized agency independently operating confirms what production process of the product keep a standard or a technical regulation. This is conformity assessment. In the many countries, agencies entrusted government authority do conformity assessment. Specially, 'certification' in one form of conformity assessment process is operating a certification system at the government and the non-government body in Korea. Also non-government certification is fixed by trusted system from consumer. He has to prepare a competitive power in liberalization time, so need the countermeasure urgently. This study purpose that develops strategy so as to activating of non-government certification system in gist of the origination called 'self-control.' I present activation strategies using SWOT/AHP analysis.

  • With developments of architectural and information technologies at the knowledge-information oriented society in the 21st century, there are the needs on intelligent buildings equipped with advanced systems to integrate both technologies. The intelligent building means a smart building which provides comfortable environments, realizes fast and speed information and telecommunication network services, and maximizes work productivities by adopting various systems suitable to uses, sizes, and functions of buildings. In order to meet these needs of the times, the domestic intelligent building certification system has been enforced in 2006. Recently, the intelligent building certification system was newly revised for revitalizing the spread of intelligent buildings. Thus, this paper investigates rating criteria and assessment standards of the new certification system focused on office building projects and suggests strategies for obtaining certifications by analyzing cases which were certified on the previous version of the system.

온-오프라인 혼합 학습환경에서 중등과학교사의 학습환경 특이적인 PCK 요소 및 하위요소 (Secondary Science Teachers' PCK Components and Subcomponents Specific to the Learning Environment in an Online-offline Mixed Learning Environment)

  • 본 연구는 온-오프라인 혼합 학습환경에서 중등과학교사의 학습환경 특이적인 PCK 요소 및 하위요소 탐색을 목적으로 하였다. 중등과학교사 12명을 대상으로 설문, 개별 면담, 수업 관찰 자료를 수집하여 PCK 이론적 틀을 기반으로 연역적으로 분석하고 다시 귀납적 분석을 통해 그 범주를 정교화하였다. 온-오프라인 혼합 학습환경에서 본 연구 교사들의 PCK는 요소별로 학습환경 특이성이 다르고 학습환경 특이성에 따라 PCK 요소별 하위요소가 다른 것으로 나타났다. 온라인 학습환경 특이적인 과학 교수 지향으로 '과학 개념 학습' 목표 지향과 '강의식 수업'의 과학 교수-학습 지향이 있었다. 온-오프라인 혼합 학습환경 특이적인 교육과정에 관한 지식에는 '교육과정 재구성'이 있었으며, 온라인 학습환경 특이적인 교육과정에 관한 지식에는 '학습 목표 선정', '교육과정 자료'가 있었다. 온라인 학습환경 특이적인 과학 교수전략에 관한 지식에는 '과학 주제 특이적 전략', '과학 교과 특이적 전략', '상호작용 전략'이 있었다. 코로나 19 이후 오프라인 학습환경 특이적인 과학 교수전략에 관한 지식에는 '과학 주제 특이적 전략', '상호작용 전략'이 있었다. 온라인 학습환경 특이적인 학생의 과학 학습에 관한 지식에는 '학습을 위한 선지식', '학습 어려움', '학습 동기 및 흥미', '학습 다양성'이 있었으며, 코로나 19 이후 오프라인 학습환경 특이적인 학생의 과학 학습에 관한 지식에는 '학습 어려움'만 있었다. 과학 학습 평가에 관한 지식은 온-오프라인 혼합 학습환경 특이적인 지식과 온라인 학습환경 특이적인 지식이 있었으며, 각각 '평가 내용'과 '평가 방법'이 있었다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 인증평가 시스템과 공학교육의 개선을 위한 방안을 제시하는 연구이다. 이 목적을 위하여 공학교육의 현 상황을 돌아보고, 대학 현장의 교육환경과 출판물, 연구 논문 등을 분석하였다. 결과적으로 우리나라의 공학교육 평가 시스템에서 개선점을 제안하는 것이다. 우리나라에서 공학교육인증이 시행된 지 벌써 5년이 지났다. 공학교육인증에 있어서 중요한 요소는 학습성과의 평가이다. 학습성과는 프로그램 학습성과 속에 교과목의 학습성과를 평가하는 것이 필요하다. 프로그램의 질은 학생들이 그 프로그램을 이수하고 나서 어떤 능력이 생겼는가를 판단하는 측정이기 때문이다. 따라서 프로그램의 학습성과를 평가하기 위해서는 그 프로그램을 구성하고 있는 교과목의 학습성과를 평가할 수 있어야 한다. 이것은 과정중심의 교과과정 평가이기 보다는 결과중심의 교과과정을 중시하는 공학교육의 특수한 성격에 따라 생긴 용어이다. 프로그램의 평가는 개인별 학생의 평가는 아니지만 프로그램을 구성하는 학생의 능력을 평가하는 것이 타당한 평가가 된다. 이러한 평가 전략은 교육평가의 타당도, 신뢰도, 객관도를 적절히 갖춘 평가도구를 선택하는 새로운 평가 접근법이다.
