There is currently a growing need to nurture creative and convergent talent in the face of the fourth Industrial Revolution. Developing such talent requires interdisciplinary convergent education across the science, engineering, humanities, social studies, and arts disciplines. Such interdisciplinary convergence could cultivate humanities and social knowledge and qualities along with scientific expertise. In Korea, there are currently six science schools for the gifted that aim to discover and nurture science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) researchers from an early stage, and two science and art schools for the gifted that aim to cultivate new talent combining students' scientific and artistic qualities. These schools establish and follow curriculums that are suited to achieving the education objectives guaranteed by the Gifted Education Promotion Act and its Enforcement Decrees. This study compares the curriculums and curriculum tables of the science schools for the gifted to those of the science and art schools for the gifted to evaluate their methods of operation and performance. Additionally, it determines which curriculums provide an opportunity for students to nurture convergent thinking, and discusses how suitable curriculums could be implemented to develop convergent thinking.

The past interactive art was only attempted through interdisciplinary study of art and science. As it goes to the digital age, however, the artistic methods based on digital technology have been gradually increasing in combination with other media in various ways. This paper analyzes how spectators' individual selection of viewing-route increases the interaction between spectators and interactive art work by focusing on $\ulcorner$Meta 4Saisons$\lrcorner$. In the process of route selection, each spectator selects his/her own viewing-route almost different from the others', respectively. This individual viewing-route makes each spectator placed in a position of individual interaction, thus leading him/her to the experience of various feelings through the act of immersing in the interactive art interface.

Recently as it is growing concern about NPR(Non-Photorealistic Rendering), Several computer graphics researchers are studying to simulate conventional artistic expressions such as pen-and-ink illustrations, watercolor and impressionism technique. In the NPR it is important thing that someone can produce a representation looked like work drawn or manipulated people directly. In this paper we propose that the technique could make the mosaic work automatically, tore and tagged a paper by hands used to educational and artistical representation, we suggest various methods to express a shape and texture of paper tore by hands without using cutters or scissors.

Unlike other ready-made suits, which are normalized based on aspects like, designs, materials, sewing methods, has to be worn for three years, designing and pattern development of school uniform depends greatly on satisfaction and appearance. Furthermore, school uniform is of importance as many teenagers spend most of their time at school. In the present work, an attempt has been made to suggest ideal school uniform for female middle school students based on their actual uniform conditions and design preferences, so that the demands of artistic aspect, and the requirements of a suitable uniform for a female teenager can be fulfilled. Initially, a survey about the actual wearing condition was held to figure out the actual uniform conditions and design preferences. Based on the result of the survey, two types of school uniform were made with different patterns. Finally, the most ideal school uniform for female middle school students was suggested based on the experiment involving a few aspects such as suitability and functionality. It is conjectured that school uniform survey and investigation, could provide useful information to the school uniform business market.

NPR(Non-Photorealistic rendering) technique is developing by every years. NPR is inspired on artistic styles, which is painting, drawing, technical illustration, animation and cartoon. There have many application programs for NPR, which is popular and useful of animations, even on game industrial. In traditional computer graphics focused on non-photorealism, but this method need much more memory and time. Recent years, Many NPR methods present advanced rendering technique and real time technique using graphic accelerator. This paper propose to explain NPR with GPU programming.

Fashion pictorials are recognized as another form of communication method beyond the concept of simply providing information or being artistic photography. Therefore, it is believed that there is necessity to know methods of making a strong impression on people's conscience by effective usage of various presentation techniques that can be used in fashion pictorials. This research studied characteristics of closed form and open form of Wolfflin's precept of forms presented in scene construction. Depaysement technique was classified into three classes which are alien transportation of a part, deformation and ambivalence of an image through literature review of depaysement presentation technique. After studying the concept and characteristics of narrative applicable as the open form, Annie Leibovitz's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" published in an actual fashion magazine was analyzed as an empirical study based on the theoretical research. Through this study, potential of applying depaysement technique as a presentation technique of closed form and narrative as a presentation technique of open form on fashion pictorials was identified. Factors that infuse creativity and achieve uniformity in producing fashion pictorials were shown through analysis of actual fashion pictorials.

A dress is commonly designed and worn as a work of art. It is developed through various ways to show the expression of our bodies with functional aspects. Light plays a role in everyday life functionally and aesthetically. We can use the light in many different ways in order to enhance the beauty of the designs. The purpose of this study is to suggest sensible designs with the active expression of light reflection. The designs are especially focused on utilizing light that shows the combination between natural human body's movement and reflection of the light. The use of reflective materials shows the character of movement when it exposes to light. The methods allow to amplify the aesthetic effects of the designs. Reflective materials were used in the resulting design to show the various effects of light by applying the movement which is artistic and aesthetic pleasing aspect for the clothing. The movement is accentuated when the wearer moves, or the air flows through the adding materials on the clothing. In addition, the beads attached to the end of the springs to show the movement of the light. The combination of the spring and the light movement resulted in a dazzling effect. I hope in the future, more studies will be conducted to further use of fiber optics and other innovative ways to use light in fashion.

The earliest of the Cultural forms have utilized different methods of artistic expression and aesthetic senses such as the Tattoo that symbolized the adornment of the human body. when viewing from the perspective of postmodern art and design, these cultural forms were redefined as a regression and intertextuality, a modern interpretation of Henna that had a subversive significance. Specifically, Henna design quickly emerged as a new style in fashion art which represented a postmodern phenomenon. It was introduced as a fashion style in korea about 10years ago. since then, the henna fashion trends is growing rapidly in the domestic market. However, It is growing without our unique identity due to indiscriminate and excessive industrialization. This study of Henna design, (similar to the art of Tattooing) sees from a cultural and regional perspective of orgin. This study interprets henna as a fashion style and analyzes symbolic meaning and aesthetic senses today with a clear definition of henna Design. from now on It's purpose is to establish the Korean Henna culture and the possibility of it being the fashion style that contains a unique atmosphere.

Background and Objectives : Voice therapy has been used as a viable adjuvant to surgery and pharmacological therapy fir the management of voice disorders. The singing voice features a special brand of emotion, intensity, and energy so successful therapeutical approach requires the doctor is able to involve himself into the physical and psychic condition and artistic usage of the voice. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect and utility of singing therapy as an initial treatment for classically trained singers with voice disorders. Material and method : Twenty-one male and fifty-five female classic singers with voice disorders were treated with singing therapy. At first, abdominal breathing, resonant phonation, and relaxation method was trained, then after accessing each patient's singing abilities, treatment methods for each specific problems was applied. The results were compared according to age, sex, treatment duration, part, laryngeal pathology, patient subjective evaluation, perceptual evaluation of voice, and maximal phonation time. Results : Patients subjective evaluation, perceptual evaluation, pathologic findings of larynx, maximal phonation time showed superior results after singing therapy. Conclusion : Singing therapy changes the mode of respiration and phonation and enhances the vocal function and improves the laryngeal pathology, The result of this study indicate that singing therapy is an effective treatment method that laryngologists can use for classical singers with voice disorders.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the element and method of traditional expression appeared in hotel lobby spaces, and present the direction of traditional expression applicable to the domestic hotel lobby space. Therefore, this study analyzed traditional expression according to its element and method taken out from the prior researches related to it. Specifically, the element of traditional expressions divided into the element of space organization, the element of structure (bottom, wall, ceiling, window, door and pillar), and the element of decorative design(furniture, illumination, artistic ornament, color, and material). The method of traditional expressions divided into the method of prototype reappearance, prototype transformation, reinterpretation, and abstract. The target of analysis has been 27 hotels designed since 1970s. and described as expressed traditionality in architecture-technical journals and books in the inside and outside of the country. considering these results, it seems that the traditional expressions using more various elements and more various element and methods have to used in domestic hotels. Specifically, when expressing traditionality in the lobby space of domestic hotel, it is important to decided the method expressing traditionality at first, and the traditional expressions using the element of space organization, structure, decorative design, and so based on the method expression traditionality was fulfilled with coordination.
