The expansion of the scope of product liability is necessary because the industrial environment has changed following the enactment of the Product Liability Act. Unlike human-coded algorithms, artificial intelligence is black-boxed according to machine learning, and even developers cannot explain the results. In particular, since the cause of the problem by artificial intelligence is unknown, the responsibility is unclear, and compensation for victims is not easy. This is because software or artificial intelligence is a non-object, and its productivity is not recognized under the Product Liability Act, which is limited to movable property. As a desperate measure, productivity may be recognized if it is stored or embedded in the medium. However, it is not reasonable to apply differently depending on the medium. The EU revise the product liability guidelines that recognize product liability when artificial intelligence is included. Although compensation for victims is the value pursued by the Product Liability Act, the essence has been overlooked by focusing on productivity. Even if an accident occurs using an artificial intelligence-adopted service, however, it is desirable to present standards according to practical risks instead of unconditionally holding product responsibility.
Through case studies for insurance service marketing using artificial intelligence(AI) in the insurtech industry, it investigated how innovative technologies(artificial intelligence, machine learning etc.) are being used in the insurance ecosystems. In particular, through domestic and international case studies, it was examined by Lemonade's service of insurance contracts and getting the indemnity and AI company's service of calculating the compensation through a medical certificate image based on OCR, which brought disruptive innovations using artificial intelligence. As a result of the case analysis, these services have drastically shortened the lead time of insurance contracts and payment through machine learning using numerous customer data based on artificial intelligence. And accurate and reasonable compensation was calculated in the estimation of indemnity, which has a lot of disputes between customers and insurance companies. It was able to increase customer satisfaction and customer value.

This paper investigates the effect of an artificial intelligence attention redirection compensation strategy system on the data labeling work attention concentration by individuals with developmental disabilities. Task accuracy and task performance for each session were used as measures of attention concentration. As a result of the study, after the intervention was applied, a significant improvement in attention concentration was observed in all study subjects compared to self-serving task. These results mean that artificial intelligence technology can have a positive effect on improving the attention span of people with developmental disabilities during data labeling tasks. This study shows that the application of artificial intelligence technology can improve the quality of learning data by improving the accuracy of data labeling tasks for people with developmental disabilities, and is expected to provide important implications for vocational training programs related to data labeling for people with developmental disabilities.
In this paper we suggest a model that the virtual robot based on artificial intelligence performs learning with compensation signals and compare the leaning speed of the virtual robot according to the compensation method after applying it to three type environments. As a result our model has showed that positive compensation is superior to hybrid one mixed positive and negative if there are enough time for learning in case of more or less complicated environment with the numerous foods, obstacles and robots. Otherwise hybrid method is better than positive one.
In this paper, we propose an artificial intelligence method to compensate the nonlinearity error which occurs in the heterodyne laser interferometer. Some superior properties such as long measurement range, ultra-precise resolution and various system set-up lead the laser interferometer to be a practical displacement measurement apparatus in various industry and research area. In ultra-precise measurement such as nanometer or subnanometer scale, however, the accuracy is limited by the nonlinearity error caused by the optical parts. The feedforward neural network trained by back-propagation with a capacitive sensor as a reference signal minimizes the nonlinearity error and we demonstrate the effectiveness of our proppsed algorithm through some experimental results.
In the semiconductor manufacturing industry, the heterodyne laser interferometer plays as an ultra-precise measurement system. However, the heterodyne laser interferometer has some unwanted nonlinearity error which is caused from frequency-mixing. This is an obstacle to improve the measurement accuracy in nanometer scale. In this paper we propose a compensation algorithm based on RLS(recursive least square) method and artificial intelligence method, which reduce the nonlinearity error in the heterodyne laser interferometer. With the capacitance displacement sensor we get a reference signal which can be transformed into the intensity domain. Using the back-propagation Neural Network method, we train the network to track the reference signal. Through some experiments, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in measurement accuracy.

In industry, various rotating machinery such as pumps, gas turbines, compressors, electric motors, generators are being used as an important facility. Due to the industrial development, they make high performance(high-speed, high-pressure). As a result, we need more intelligent and reliable machine condition diagnosis techniques. Diagnosis technique using hidden Markov-model is proposed for an accurate and predictable condition diagnosis of various rotating machines and also has overcame the speed limitation of time/frequency method by using compensation of the rotational speed of rotor. In addition, existing artificial intelligence method needs defect state data for fault detection. hidden Markov model can overcome this limitation by using normal state data alone to detect fault of rotational machinery. Vibration analysis of step-up gearbox for wind turbine was applied to the study to ensure the robustness of diagnostic performance about compensation of the rotational speed. To assure the performance of normal state alone method, hidden Markov model was applied to experimental torque measuring gearbox in this study.
Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), which combines AI and the Internet of Things (IoT), has recently gained popularity. Deep neural networks (DNNs) have achieved great success in many applications. Deploying complex AI models on embedded boards, nevertheless, may be challenging due to computational limitations or intelligent model complexity. This paper focuses on an AIoT-based system for smart sewing automation using edge devices. Our technique included developing a detection model and a decision tree for a sufficient testing scenario. YOLOv5 set the stage for our defective sewing stitches detection model, to detect anomalies and classify the sewing patterns. According to the experimental testing, the proposed approach achieved a perfect score with accuracy and F1score of 1.0, False Positive Rate (FPR), False Negative Rate (FNR) of 0, and a speed of 0.07 seconds with file size 2.43MB.

The rapid evolution of the IoT has paved the way for new opportunities in smart city domains, including e-health, smart homes, and precision agriculture. However, this proliferation of services demands effective SLAs between customers and service providers, especially for critical services. Difficulties arise in maintaining the integrity of such agreements, especially in vulnerable wireless environments. This study proposes a novel SLA management model that uses an SDN-Enabled WSN consisting of wireless nodes to interact with smart contracts in a straightforward manner. The proposed model ensures the persistence of network metrics and SLA provisions through smart contracts, eliminating the need for intermediaries to audit payment and compensation procedures. The reliability and verifiability of the data prevents doubts from the contracting parties. To meet the high-performance requirements of the blockchain in the proposed model, low-cost algorithms have been developed for implementing blockchain technology in wireless sensor networks with low-energy and low-capacity nodes. Furthermore, a cryptographic signature control code is generated by wireless nodes using the in-memory private key and the dynamic random key from the smart contract at runtime to prevent tampering with data transmitted over the network. This control code enables the verification of end-to-end data signatures. The efficient generation of dynamic keys at runtime is ensured by the flexible and high-performance infrastructure of the SDN architecture.
Deep learning using an artificial neural network has been recently researched and developed in various fields such as image recognition, big data and data analysis. However, federated learning has emerged to solve issues of data privacy invasion and problems that increase the cost and time required to learn. Federated learning presented learning techniques that would bring the benefits of distributed processing system while solving the problems of existing deep learning, but there were still problems with server-client system and motivations for providing learning data. So, we replaced the role of the server with a blockchain system in federated learning, and conducted research to solve the privacy and security problems that are associated with federated learning. In addition, we have implemented a blockchain-based system that motivates users by paying compensation for data provided by users, and requires less maintenance costs while maintaining the same accuracy as existing learning. In this paper, we present the experimental results to show the validity of the blockchain-based system, and compare the results of the existing federated learning with the blockchain-based federated learning. In addition, as a future study, we ended the thesis by presenting solutions to security problems and applicable business fields.
