Experimental Comparative Analysis of Terrestrial Lidar Data and Cadastral Data for the Calculation of the Slope Area of Highland Agriculture Region (고랭지 농업지역의 경지면적 산출을 위한 지상라이다 데이터와 지적성과의 실험적 비교 분석)

  • The price of agricultural products has changed from year to year, the m ajor c ause o f price fluctuation is the imbalance of supply and demand. Materials which are mainly used in korean cabbage production volume is the forecast model, using the cadastral result, slope calculation is impossible to achieved. For this reason, this implies the drastic decrease of prices and the prediction of supply and demand of field crops that is cultivated in a highland slope area, this situation is being repeated. Therefore, the target area of this research is the slopes of high land, by using 2D and 3D Lidar data for the analysis of the cultivated area. Experiment was carried out in the same area to compare the data differences. The rate of change in the area of slope is quantitatively increasing presented by the regression model. An alternative methodology that can improve the reliability of the calculated slope area using 2D is through cadastral map.

A Study on Automated Quantity Take-off Methods of Earth Works in Road Design using 3D Design Concept (3차원 설계를 통한 도로설계단계의 토공 자동물량 산정 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the interests in three-dimensional design and BIM(Building Information Modeling) are increasing in civil engineering sector and the researches about three-dimensional design and quantity take-off methods for civil engineering structures have been conducted. However, these studies are just carried out the 3D design and quantity calculation of civil structures on the road or railway such as bridges and tunnels. The study on the quantity take-off methods and the evaluation of calculated results on the earth works should be performed in more detail. Based on these backgrounds in mind, the study was conducted the three-dimensional road design and evaluated the quantity take-off results on the earth works using 3D calculation method(average end area method, prismoidal method and composit method). The calculated quantity from composit method showed about 5% error of measuring efficiency than the average end area method, and when reporting the quantity calculation of earth works, it is necessary to specify the calculation method using quantity take-off of earth works.

Shear behavior of composite frame inner joints of SRRC column-steel beam subjected to cyclic loading

  • In this paper, cyclic loading tests on composite frame inner joints of steel-reinforced recycled concrete (SRRC) column-steel beam were conducted. The main objective of the test was to obtain the shear behavior and analyze the shear strength of the joints. The main design parameters in the test were recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) replacement percentage and axial compression ratio. The failure process, failure modes, hysteresis curves and strain characteristics of the joints were obtained, and the influences of design parameters on the shear strength of the joints have been also analysed in detail. Results show that the failure modes of the joints area are typical shear failure. The shear bearing capacity of the joints maximally decreased by 10.07% with the increase in the RCA replacement percentage, whereas the shear bearing capacity of the joints maximally increased by 16.6% with the increase in the axial compression ratio. A specific strain analysis suggests that the shear bearing capacity of the joints was mainly provided by the three shear elements of the recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) diagonal compression strut, steel webs and stirrups of the joint area. According to the shear mechanism and test results, the calculation formulas of the shear bearing capacity of the three main shear elements were deduced separately. Thus, the calculation model of the shear bearing capacity of the composite joints considering the adverse effects of the RCA replacement percentage was established through a superposition method. The calculated values of shear strength based on the calculation model were in good agreement with the test values. It indicates that the calculation method in this study can reasonably predict the shear bearing capacity of the composite frame inner joints of SRRC column-steel beam.

  • The existing cost calculation standard for the implementation project to manage total maximum daily loads calculates cost by considering the area scale and the population based on the basic cost. This method renders it difficult to calculate cost when the detailed characteristics of a business are considered. Therefore, in this study, we proposed a costing method that applied the standard fee calculation, reflecting the area scale, a number of human and livestock, wastewater discharge facilities, etc. And, through the review of related order cases, the suitability of factors affecting the implementation project is verified and the appropriateness of the cost calculation method is verified.

  • Purpose: The planning and design of hospital generally requires the participation and consultation of skilled experts since it has more complex space program than any other buildings. Therefore, the BIM systems for the planning of hospital have been tried continuously. The purpose of this study is to identify the precondition for space Program validation of healthcare architecture based on BIM, which is recently receiving wide attention. Method: For this study, United States, Australia and Finland's guidelines were analyzed among the description space program validation system in 14 overseas BIM Guidelines. And the propose precondition that can be applied to healthcare architecture from among these description of space program validation items, target, process etc for General building. Result: 1) spatial program validation is the following four evaluation phase. Step 1: Standard setting phase Step 2: BIM model accuracy assessment phase Step 3: space validation phase Step 4: Performance evaluation phase 2) The standards for the building elements at Standards Setting stage is considered to the standards for the architectural elements of General building. 3) Healthcare Architecture Area calculation method is considered to be reasonable that borrowing the area calculation standard of general architecture according to the UIA of international standards. However, Be proposed of measuring method that reflect the efficiency of the design process step-by-step area calculation method. The performance assessment indicators of reflect the Hospital uniqueness have to developed. And the research needs to be carried out continuously according to the purpose for healthcare architecture of feature-oriented. Implications: In this paper like to understanding that precondition of space program validation considering the BIM. As a result, understanding to condition about step of the evaluation, the evaluation standards. Is expected to keep the focus on the development of performance indicators that reflect the uniqueness of the hospital for the efficient evaluation of the Hospital building.

An Analysis on Optimal Port Operation for New International Passenger Terminal Using Conjoint Analysis: Focusing on Incheon Port (컨조인트분석을 활용한 신국제여객터미널 최적 항만운영 방안에 관한 연구-인천항을 중심으로)

  • This study uses Conjoint Analysis to study optimal port operations at the newly built International P assenger Terminal (IPT) at Inchon Port, Korea. The perceptions of users, operators, and the Incheon Port Authority are compared and analyzed. The results of user Conjoint Analysis showed that rent calculation method was the most important factor in the NIPT operation plan, followed by establishing automation and the size of the site area. For the Incheon Port Authority and operators, the rent calculation method turned out to be the most important factor for NIPT operation plans. It was followed by establishing automation and the site area. Utility results showed the "investment cost preservation method" to have the highest rent calculation utility, "yard automation" as the priority, and "43,000 pyeong-48,000 pyeong" as the optimal site area.

Analysis of High Sea-worthiness Offshore Wind Turbine (고 내항성 해상풍력 발전기 해석)

  • Research was conducted to analyze and improve the kinetic performance of offshore wind power generators. The shape used in this study was taken with reference to the previous paper, and the size of the repair area was designed at 80%, 60%, 40%, and 20%, respectively, and the exercise performance was confirmed accordingly. The sea state was calculated in Sea State 4, 5, and 6. In the calculation process, the calculation was performed using commercial computational hydrodynamics (ANSYS) and AQUA. In the case of overall exercise performance, it was confirmed that the smaller the size of the repair area, the smaller the exercise such as heave, roll, and pitch. However, it was confirmed that in the case of a shape in which the size of the repair area was rapidly reduced, there may be cases in which the restoration performance was not satisfied when the restoration calculation was performed. In addition, it was confirmed that there may be an appropriate repair surface depending on the sea condition.

Improving the Slope Calculation Method for Evaluating the Feasibility of the Land Development (토지 개발 적정성 평가를 위한 경사도 계산 방법 개선)

  • Slope is one of the most important factor in land development permission standards. In guideline of "Land Suitability Assessment" or "Forest Land Conversion Standard", average slope can be measured using digital map and GIS for target area. Inputs in slope calculation are 1/5,000 digital map of NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) or digital information of Korea Land Information System. Many confusions occur in the field, as there is no standard for slope calculation and are lots of slope calculation methods using contour lines or DEM derived from them. Avoiding these confusions, this study was intended to propose a standardized method for slope calculation and a selection method for a suitable resolution. In this study, using DEM of optimum grid size according to the complexity of topography with finite difference method is suggested as improved slope calculation method, after comparing several representative slope calculation methods.
