When the natural villages in Jeju province are incorporated into the district of city planning, they are considered to be a small-scale residential districts. Therefore, a garden city should be planned that considers the characteristics of the villages to implement an appropriate street system, to use the area effectively, and to harmonize the villages with the surrounding communities. There have been an especially large number of problems with the street system in the city of Seogwipo, which was notified as the area of natural settlement. This study analyzes the problems inherent in street planning and the present condition of roads whose construction has been postponed for a long time due to several problems including an inappropriately planned street system. Based on the research of various documents, a practical street system has been investigated. Most of the residents in natural settlement units demand use of the continued the existing roads as well as the implementation of an effective street system. They ask for street planning under which the involved construction would take only a short period of time and would result in only minimal damage to their existing properties. Therefore, the street system should be planned so as to preserve the nature-friendly features of natural settlements, their surroundings and tourism resources. Even after streets hwve been planned and their completion you has been established, the plan should be continuously evaluated, analyzed and compared with other alternatives. The street plan should continuously incorporate improvement measures which would satisfy various aspects of the street system including land use, traffic demand, and future population demands. Both the amount of money to be invested and economical efficiency should be considered for street planning since the street system has a great impact on many industries. Unnecessary costs related to excessive road construction should be avoided. The street network plan should also include the complete evaluation of the natural topography as well as the surrounding. Considering these views, the data concerning the current condition of the city and the related investigation play an important role in establishing a street plan. However, the investigation of future construction plans by the city is as of yet at a very early stage. Therefore, there is an urgent need for the investigational study of the current city development plans. The street system for the natural settlement area should be established only after the thorough investigation of all aspects of street planning. In addition, the plan should be flexible enough to consider the characteristics of Jeju.
This research has been surveyed on street food and snack intake status of elementary school students in the Jeon Buk region and the recognition of mothers has been observed for the objective of providing base materials for appropriate eating habits and nutritional education. As for status on intake of street food, most students (97.3%) have shown to have eaten from the street vendors while mothers assume low frequency in their child's intake of street food. Favorite street food choices had an agreement between mother and student as ddukbokki and dakkochi. Students were more tolerant in sanitation and necessity of street food than the mothers. This research shows that there is a difference in the recognition of street food between the students and their mothers. There a need required for improvement in the system as to provide quality food and to prevent poor quality food being exposed to the students. This study performed analysis on the thermal pattern and current characteristics of an LED ((Light Emitting Diode) street lamp. It did this using a TVS (Thermal Video System) to analyze the LED street lamp's thermal pattern, and measured its characteristics using an oscilloscope. The ambient temperature and humidity during the experiment were maintained at $24{\pm}2[^{\circ}C]$ and 50~60[%]. The capacity of the LED street lamp was 120[W] and nine sets of modules were arranged at uniform intervals. On one module, 24 LED lamps were arranged in a radial pattern. The analysis of the thermal diffusion pattern at the front of the LED lamp showed that the maximum surface temperature was approximately $34[^{\circ}C]$. In addition, there was almost no change in the temperature of the upper cover, and the temperature at the side showed a uniform thermal diffusion pattern. The surface temperature of the converter converting AC to DC increased to approximately $46[^{\circ}C]$. The analysis results of the thermal characteristics of one LED indicated uniform thermal characteristics for an initial eight minutes. However, the temperature at the center of the LED increased to approximately $82[^{\circ}C]$ after 12 minutes had elapsed. It can be seen from this that the temperature at the center of the LED was higher than the allowable temperature, $70[^{\circ}C]$ of the insulating material for general electrical devices. Therefore, it is necessary to design a lamp in such a way that the plastic insulating material does not come into contact with or get close to the LED lamp. The voltage of the LED lamp converted by the AC/DC converter was measured at DC 27[V] and the current was DC 13[A]. Consequently, it can be seen that in order to secure an adequate light source, it is important to supply a stable current that was greater than the current of other light sources. Therefore, appropriate radiation of heat is required to secure the stability and reliability of the system.

Street-view images, which are omnidirectional scenes centered on a specific location on the road, can provide various obstacle information for the pedestrians. Pedestrian network data for the navigation services should reflect the up-to-date obstacle information to ensure the mobility of pedestrians, including people with disabilities. In this study, the object detection model was trained for the bollard as a major obstacle in Seoul using street-view images and a deep learning algorithm. Also, a process for updating information about the presence and number of bollards as obstacle properties for the crosswalk node through spatial matching between the detected bollards and the pedestrian nodes was proposed. The missing crosswalk information can also be updated concurrently by the proposed process. The proposed approach is appropriate for crowdsourcing data as the model trained using the street-view images can be applied to photos taken with a smartphone while walking. Through additional training with various obstacles captured in the street-view images, it is expected to enable efficient information update about obstacles on the road.
The main purpose of this paper is to apply Zone 30 system which is being experimented in advanced country for the solution of controlling the residential street's speed to our country with the consideration of the real condition of our street and traffic and to run this system as an example to analyze the effect and at the same time, analyze the problem and get appropriate preparation for this system to be widespread. The area to run this model project is Goyang City Ilsan-Gu.($0.65km^2$) which is close with the commercial area reflecting the opinion of experts and an on-site verification by the National Police Agency T/F and is having a heavy pedestrian traffic and the risk of pedestrian accident. Firstly we defined residential street and residential street area to review the system and devided the residential street type to establish a plan of operation. Afterwards, we thoroughly examined the model project area and analyzed the problem and solution. We finally completed establishing a facilities by conference with a local autonomous entity with the improvement of facility's sketch at the analysis of the model project area. The result of effects analysis which we devided after and before of establishment is that vehicle speed be reduced 5~15km/h, and traffic accidents has decreased by 24 percent.

Determining those gaps in agricultural and other information to improve agrometeorological analyses for agriculture is a large task. The effective integration of appropriate data systems, including remote sensing systems, with agricultural systems modelling capability is described as a worthy outcome in this endeavour. Data issues, including those associated with data length, quality, maintenance, and archiving remain serious issues to be addressed. The role of remote sensing and geographic information systems in agrometeorology is important and is explored here. The value of simulation models to provide the synthesis for future agrometeorological requirements is further elucidated.

This study aims to provide basic data for high-quality street tree management by setting reasonable management items and appropriate unit prices by reviewing the adequacy of current street tree management. Currently, street tree management items, except for street tree pruning, use general landscape tree quantity per unit for the street tree management quantity per unit. KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) applied pruning items from standard electric production infrastructure and carried out the activities at an average unit price of 51% lower for heavy pruning and 39% lower for light pruning than the standard estimate. This was judged to be a level that could not maintain or increase the quality of street tree management. It was determined that an appropriate standard unit price for street tree management was necessary. To improve the quantity per unit for the proper management of street trees, it was necessary to review costs in the field. However, due to the absence of data on actual construction costs in the domestic landscape field, detailed items of the US RSMeans Building Construction Cost Data (RSMeans) were reviewed, and the actual construction costs were calculated by applying personal domestic expenses. As a result, the standard of the estimated unit showed a good ratio of 107% for heavy pruning of street tree pruning compared to the actual construction cost, but light pruning was underestimated with a 59% ratio. Shrub pruning was 82%, weeding was 92%, tree fertilization was 87%, and windbreak wall installation was 91% under-engineered. In addition, it was also confirmed that the watering by sprinkler trucks and chemical spraying were over-designed compared to the actual construction cost at the rates of 118% and 124%, respectively. Due to the specificity of the street trees, the increase in personal expenses and the input cost of equipment, such as road safety controls, were judged to be the main cause of the underestimation of items. Therefore, it is necessary to add items related to street trees and general landscape trees to the landscape maintenance items of the standard of the estimated unit.

In this study, we researched a pendant-type aspherical optical system, which could be applied to street lighting and security lighting in Europe. The goal of this research was eco-friendly artificial lighting that could be used for the one-to-one replacement of ordinary lighting. LED lighting was miniaturized by using one COB LED Module and one aspherical optical system, which could control the luminosity of the LED. Through the aspherical optical system, the light distribution angle could be controlled in a range of $140^{\circ}$ for the X-axis and $40^{\circ}$ for the Y-axis. This means that this optical system is appropriate for catenary-type lighting, which is widely used in Europe on both narrow and broad roads. The performance was determined using a lighting simulation program. This lighting system simulation showed that road rates M4 and M5 could be satisfied, with the condition of a 13-m height and 50-m distance (U0 and TI). The simulation program estimated that light pollution, which disturbs sleep, could beeliminated in the European streetlight case. Determining methods for the light distribution control, performance, and optimal lighting setup conditions is very important to prevent light pollution. Moreover, the initial step of developing the lighting system design and post management will require an effort with much analysis.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate preferences for spatial composition by urban design guidelines of detached housing areas using CG simulation, with the aim of contributing to the improvement and management of residential townscapes. The list of urban design guidelines for detached housing areas was derived from an analysis of urban design guidelines and landscape regulations from the U.S.A, Japan, and Korea. These guidelines comprise building guidelines, landscape guidelines, street guidelines, and sign guidelines. Through the preferences revealed by CG simulation, an optimum presentation method for the urban design guidelines was determined. Based on the results of preferences, an appropriate management system and regulation standards were proposed. In conclusion, the efforts carried out on the study and legislation of a management system and regulation standards for the urban design guideline will accomplish the amenity of residential environments.

July 1, 2004 Seoul Metropolitan city is operating the Median Bus Lane System on Gangnam Main Street, Seongsan-Susaek-ro (Road) and Dobong- Mia-ro (Road) as one of the systematic reorganizations in public transportation. It has been assumed that there was an improvement in the speed of bus considering that the Median Bus Lane System practiced on Cheonho-daero (Main Street) since 1996 have had 35km/h on the average. If the Median Bus Lane goes into effect, there is a problem with the left turn on the crossroad. The buses go on the existing first lane so that the left fuming cars cannot help but turn left on the second lane. In case that the Median Bus Lane is put into practice, the left turn on the crossroad should not be allowed. However, if the left turn is not permitted on the crossroads in the aforementioned main streets, neighboring residents will complain about it and there will be some difficulties in finding other detour. On the premise that the prevalent left turn on the crossroads is allowed while the Median Bus Lane is being put into practice, this study suggests the separation of a stop line between buses and other vehicles as a way of fuming left in a safe manner and a way to calculate the appropriate distance.
