The analysis revealed that the pattern represent the function of written language, the Miao's idea of nature as tie object of worship and exorcism, and their primitive thinking. The patterns are chiefly embroidered collars, shoulders of blouse, waist blind and hem lines of skirt. The design of patterns are animals and plants and geometrical figured. Most of patterns are dragon, fishes, birds, butterflies, which are liked by the Miao people. The patterns are highly imaginative and true to life, and are made with strong national and popular features.

Specimens of Bosmina longirostris collected from various freshwater habitats of 84 localities in South Korea from October 1981 to August 1997 were examined, and seasonal changes of the cladoceran populations in Late Kwangjuho from October 1995 to August 1977 were analysed. In this paper, B. longirostris in Korea was redescribed and figured, with a discussion of morphological characteristics. Some ecological features of the species were noted.

The cyclopoid specimens collected from various freshwater habitats at 141 locations in South Korea during the period from May 1983 to May 1989 are identified into 25 species or subspecies of 12 generain family Cyclopidae, and the seventeen species newly reported from Korea are redescribed and figured.

Two species of Pareurystheus belonging to the family Corophiidae are added to the Korean fauna: Pareurystheus latipes Tzvetkova, 1977 and P. anamae (Gurjanova, 1952). P. latipes is similar to the P. anamae in the most of morphological characteristics. However, two species differ in the forms of antenna 1, gnathopod 2, pereopods 5-7 and telson. This genus Pareurystheus is reported for the first time from Korea. They are described and figured in detail.

Today, a desirable way to manage livestock manure is to activate its utilization as a resource. The production of high quality liquid fertilizer of livestock manure is very important because it increases the use of various liquid fertilizer. However, the result of mature evaluation with a maturity measuring instrument for liquid fertilizer showed that the deviation of concentration between liquid fertilizer did not bring into uniformity. The result is also making sure that quality management for liquid fertilizer is not smoothly made. Quality evaluation for compost and liquid fertilizer includes physical, biological, chemical and microbiological methods, but a chemical method is mainly being implemented due to fairness and field application. Therefore, this study figured out correlation in feces and urine through regression analysis of livestock manure and tried to create a research plan to carry out efficient quality analysis of managing livestock manure.

41 species of Korean freshwater Cladocera have been recorded up to now, but very few taxonomic works on this animal group have been carried out . As there is shortage the references useful to identifiy the Korean materials, the present key is made to fill it up. This key comprises 53 Korean species, of which 42 including 11 new records in Korea have been collected from Korean from 1978 to 1986. 42 species, except 11 species that could not be examined by the author , are all figured on the basis of their morphological characters.
