교반기 내 터빈 임펠러 형태에 따른 교반성능에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Analysis on Mixing Performance for Various Types of Turbine Impeller in a Stirred Vessel)

  • In the present study, a numerical simulation to analyze mixing performance inside an industrial mixer was investigated for various geometry of turbine impellers. Various pitching angles and various types of turbine blades were considered in the simulation. In order to model the rotation of impeller, the Multiple Reference Frames (MRF) technique was used. For evaluation of the effect of various shapes on the mixing performance, dimensionless coefficient such as flow coefficient, circulation coefficient, power coefficient, pumping effectiveness and circulation effectiveness were used. From the results, the effect of pitching angle of a pitched turbine impeller was to give best pumping effectiveness around $30^{\circ}$ pitching angle, whereas best circulation effectiveness around $65^{\circ}$ pitching angle. Dual pitched turbine impeller showed best performance in both pumping effectiveness and circulation effectiveness among impeller types considered in the present study.

  • A novel single phase Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) is proposed in this paper to accurately and rapidly estimate the instantaneous phase angle of a grid. A conjugate rotating vector pair is proposed and defined to synthesize the single phase signal in the stationary reference frame. With this concept, the proposed PLL innovatively sets one phase input of the PARK transformation to a constant zero. By means of a proper cancellation, a zero steady state phase angle estimation error can be achieved, even under magnitude and frequency variations. The proposed PLL structure is presented together with guidelines for parameters adjustment. The performance of the proposed PLL is verified by comprehensive experiments. Satisfactory phase angle estimation can be achieved within one input signal cycle, and the estimation error can be totally eliminated in four input cycles for the most severe conditions.

  • We experimented on AGV driving test with color CCD camera which is setup on it. This paper can be divided into two parts. One is image processing part to measure the condition of the guideline and AGV. The other is part that obtains the reference steering angle through using the image processing parts. First, 2 dimension image information derived from vision sensor is interpreted to the 3 dimension information by the angle and position of the CCD camera. Through these processes, AGV knows the driving conditions of AGV. After then using of those information, AGV calculates the reference steering angle changed by the speed of AGV. In the case of low speed, it focuses on the left/right error values of the guide line. As increasing of the speed of AGV, it focuses on the slop of guide line. Lastly, we are to model the above descriptions as the type of PID controller and regulate the coefficient value of it the speed of AGV.

  • 호흡동조방사선치료에서 비동일 평면치료는 테이블의 회전이 있기 때문에 테이블의 회전에 따른 적외선 카메라와 마커 사이의 거리 변화로 인하여 마커 움직임의 인식을 Real-time Position Management 시스템의 two dot 마커와 six dot 마커의 움직임 반영의 정확성을 평가하고자 한다. 움직임을 평가는 two dot 마커에서 테이블 각도를 시계방향, 반시계방향으로 각 $10^{\circ}$씩 변화하여 측정하였으며, six dot 마커에서도 테이블 각도를 시계방향으로 각 $10^{\circ}$ 변화하여 기준 $0^{\circ}$에서의 기준과 비교하였을 때 기준 진폭 1.173에서 1.165, 테이블 각도 $20^{\circ}$에서는 1.132, 테이블 각도 $30^{\circ}$에서는 1.083의 진폭값으로 나타났다. 반시계방향으로 $350^{\circ}$에서는 기준 진폭 1.168에서 1.157, 테이블 각도 $340^{\circ}$에서는 1.124, 테이블 각도 $330^{\circ}$에서는 1.079 진폭값으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 팬톰을 이용하여 테이블 변화에 따른 진폭의 값을 정량적으로 평가한 점에 학술적 의미를 두고자 한다.

A novel method to specify pattern recognition of actuators for stress reduction based on Particle swarm optimization method

  • This paper is focused on stiffness ratio effect and a new method to specify the best pattern of piezoelectric patches placement around a hole in a plate under tension to reduce the stress concentration factor. To investigate the stiffness ratio effect, some different values greater and less than unity are considered. Then a python code is developed by using particle swarm optimization algorithm to specify the best locations of piezoelectric actuators around the hole for each stiffness ratio. The results show that, there is a line called "reference line" for each plate with a hole under tension, which can guide the location of actuator patches in plate to have the maximum stress concentration reduction. The reference line also specifies that actuators should be located horizontally or vertically. This reference line is located at an angle of about 65 degrees from the stress line in plate. Finally two experimental tests for two different locations of the patches with various voltages are carried out for validation of the results.

  • Switched Reluctance Generator attracts much attention because of high effciency, simple controllability with traction drive. But the theories that have been adopted as SRG control methods are complicated up to the present. This paper proposes reference current limitation strategy for stable generation of SRM and switching angle control. The proposed method is verified by simulation and experiments.

  • This paper presents the algorithm for estimating the attitude of an underwater vehicle using EFK. The system model is designed by linerizing the nonlinear Euler angle differential equation and the measurements is a speed logger output. The simulation result shows that the estimation lagorithm is adequate for decreasing attitude errors that grow abruptly during the motion with acceleration and rotation. It also shows that we can adapt the algorithm for compensating initial attitude errors generated after initial leveling.

  • This paper describes a new algorithm for active power filters which can be control source current symmetrically under unbalanced condition in power system. Positive sequency voltage is detected by symmetrical coordinate method and compensating reference current of active power filters is calculated using by accurate phase angle information of positive sequency voltage. The basic principle of the proposed method is described in detail and the conventional and proposed phase detecting methods are compared and discussed through the simulation results.

흉부팬텀을 이용한 변형된 늑골 사방향 검사의 유용성에 관한 연구 (The Study of Effectiveness in a Modified Rib Oblique Projection View Using a Chest Phantom)

  • 본 연구는 늑골의 사방향 검사 시 환자의 자세 변화가 아닌 X-선관의 수평 축방향 각도 변화를 적용하여 영상화 하였다. 인체 모형 팬텀을 이용하여 일반적인 늑골 사방향의 표준 검사 방법을 적용한 대조 영상과 중심 X-선을 팬텀의 수직 입사 방향으로부터 오른쪽 수평 축 방향으로 $5^{\circ}$ 간격으로 $5^{\circ}$부터 $30^{\circ}$까지 6단계의 입사각도 변화를 적용한 변형 사방향 실험 영상을 획득하였다. 영상의 정량적 비교 평가를 위해 대조영상을 기준으로 실험 영상의 관심 영역 별 SNR과 CNR을 계산하였다. 또한 대조 영상의 좌 우 늑골 비율과 실험 영상의 X-선 입사각도 별 좌 우 늑골 비율을 측정하여 비교하였다. 실험 결과, $25^{\circ}$의 X-선 입사 각도를 적용한 실험 영상이 표준 검사 방법을 적용한 대조 영상과 비교하였을 때 SNR과 CNR, 좌 우 늑골 비율의 측정값에서 가장 근사한 값을 나타내었다. 변형 늑골 사방향 검사는 환자의 검사 자세 유지가 어려울 경우 적용할 수 있는 늑골 사방향 검사 방법으로 유용할 것이라 생각된다.

한국인 하악골 전돌증 환자의 악교정수술을 위한 ENaP(Esthetic NaP)선의 유효성에 관한 연구 (EFFICACY OF ENaP(ESTHETIC NaP)-LINE FOR ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY OF KOREAN MANDIBULAR PROGNATHISM)

  • As the most of dentofacial deformity patients indicated to orthognathic surgery have strong desire for esthetic improvement as well as functional improvement, ideal esthetic evaluation should be made at surgical prediction. Lateral cephalographs has been commonly used for surgical prediction, however, remarkable discrepancy between esthetic viewpoint by simple looking and analysis on lateral cephalographs often found on evaluation of sagittal position of the upper and lower jaws especially in cases of mandibular prognathism of Koreans. In these cases, we have been employed Esthetic NaP(ENaP)-line for corrective evaluation and ideal surgical prediction on lateral cephalographs, but the efficacy of ENaP-line has not been evaluated. This is a study on efficacy of ENaP-line for orthognathic surgery of Korean mandibular prognathism. 170 Korean patients who had been diagnosed as mandibular prognathism and planned for orthognathic surgery at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, College of Dentistry, Yonsei University during last 10 years are studied. The obtained results are as followings; among 170 patients of mandibular prognathism, 132 patients(77.6%) had not discrepancy in evaluation of sagittal position of the maxilla between cephalometric and esthetic evaluation(they are classified as Group I), however, 38 patients(22.4%) had definite discrepancy(they are classified as Group II). ENaP-line was employed in all cephalometric analysis of Group II. The proportions of male and female were similar in both Groups. Sixteen vertical reference lines perpendicular to 16 horizontal reference lines were obtained as followings; Each of the representative degree of ${\angle}SN/AFH$, ${\angle}SN/CFH$ and ${\angle}AFH/CFH$ obtained at Group I was applied to SN plane, AFH plane and CFH plane of Group II each other, and so 16 horizontal reference lines could be obtained individually according to each of the applied degree to each plane. And then their reliability to coincide with ENaP-line of Group II was evaluated. A vertical reference line perpendicular to a horizontal line made by application of the representative degree of ${\angle}$AFH/CFH in Group I to AFH line in Group II had the most highest coincidence with ENaP-line of Group II, however, its agreement was 42% in male and 47% in female. From this results, the rest of them should be determined their corrective jaw position definitely depend on
