The "Naegyeongseupyubangron(內經拾遺方論)", written by Nakyonggil(駱龍吉), is an ancient book of Bangron(方論). The exact time period of this book is unknown. To estimate its written time, we compared the contents of this book to other sources on the cause of diseases, the description of symptoms, the transmission of diseases, and treatments. In addition, we analyzed the features of the book by comparing it to other books of Bangron(方論). As a result, we estimated the approximate time period that it was written and gained a better understanding of the ancient medicine. We reached several conclusions through this study. 1. The approximate time period of "Naegyeongseupyubangron(內經拾遺方論)" is that of the Southern Song(南宋) dynasty of China, probably after "Saminbang(三因方)" between 1174 and 1279. 2. Nakyonggil(駱龍吉) was influenced by Wangbing(王冰), Sonsamak(孫思邈), Yuhagan(劉河間), Jinmutaek(陳無擇). and he influenced "Uibanggo(醫方考)". 3. The "Naegyeongseupyubangron(內經拾遺方論)" is the most comprehensive book among the books of Bangron(方論) because of its analysis of the "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)" and its connection to the treatment of ancient diseases in Oriental Medical History.

"Uirimchwaryo(醫林撮要)" is a medical book that takes a model of written in the middle of Chosun dynasty. In the contents side, it seems to unite a korea medicine with the Geum-Won Dynasty(金元時代) in ancient china. we can think much of the value that it combines theory with experience, choosing the merits of "Uibangyuchwi(醫方類聚)" which were the masterpieces of the first half of Chosun Dynasty and it increased a practical use to choose easily prescription in the clinic. This book which was proofread and published by imperial physician Yang Yaesoo(楊禮壽, ? ~ 1597) is not exist. In this condition, existing print type is added by scholars only after "Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑)" was compiled. When the academic conference was held in last year, I introduced a new founded book in japan's possession that printed in Chosun dynasty. Moreover I survey more documents and investigate a few old printed books that are handed down to Chosun and Japan. In addition, I will present that had done interchanges between the ancient nations in par-eastern asia, especially to have done by diplomatic mission. We can evaluate the value and effect of "Uirimchwaryo" in Chosun dynasty of medical history.

At the book I of "The Golden Mirror of Medicine[醫宗金鑑] The Elimination and Supplement about Famous Prescription Comments[刪補名醫方論]", 22 prescriptions are recorded. At the first part of the book, it mainly described about the prescriptions of invigorating Gi[補氣], which is followed by the prescriptions on enriching blood and nourishing vital essence fluid[補陰血], and the prescriptions on strengthening Gihyeol[補氣血] and tranquilization[安神] are described at the last part of the book. At the current review, the 8 prescriptions of strengthening Gihyeol[補氣血] and tranquilization[安神] of the last part of the book I will be translated, and compared with the similar related comments in the book of "The Famous Prescription Comments on Ancient and Modern Times[古今名醫方論]" to review about the characteristics of formula, prescriptions notes and the relationship of these contents. In terms of formula, the order of prescriptions to strengthen Gihyeol[補氣血] could be listed from the indirectly strengthening prescriptions to the directly strengthening prescriptions. In addition, the list of prescriptions will be sequenced by following the order of weak strengthening prescriptions to the strong strengthening prescriptions. The order of tranquilization prescription must be ordered for the symptoms showing mild psychological symptoms to severe symptoms in terms of severity of symptom, and will be ordered from the prescriptions highly dependent on invigorating Gi[補氣] to the prescriptionless dependent on invigorating Gi[補氣]. In the way of controlling Premier Fire[相火], these prescriptions are ordered from the prescriptions that use indirect methods to the prescriptions that use direct methods Characteristics of the prescription notes could be mentioned that the herbs of invigorating Gi(補氣) is pivotal in strengthening Gihyeol[補氣血] and the sour flavor and pungent flavor acted as negative and positive[陰陽的] when sour flavor and pungent flavor are used to enrich liver, and that sweet flavor could easily indigested to cause abdominal distension. When comparing with the content of "The Famous Prescription Comments on Ancient and Modern Times[古今名醫方論]", it mostly adopted the content as it is, but differentiation of the formula and addition of 2 new prescriptions with their explanation in the middle of the book could be considered to be creative aspect that helped the convenience of readers.
Objective : Neijingshiyifanglun with additions and emendations was written by Liu Yude, a doctor who lived during Ming period. I researched the origin of the book, and analyzed the features of it as well. I also approximated his birth date and death date. In doing this, I gained a better understanding the practice of medicine in ancient China. Method : I researched the book by comparing its contents, including the causes of diseases, the descriptions of symptoms, the transmissions of diseases, and treatments, with other sources that he had referenced. Result : In understanding Hwangdineijing, Liu Yude was influenced by many medical scholars such as, Wang Bing, Ma Shi, and Wu Kun, but his opinion is most similar to that of Zhang Jiebin. In the field of the Chinese Medical Theory, he was deeply influenced by 'JinYuan-Sidaijia's theories, particularly Li Gao and Zhu Zhenheng. In fanglun, he was greatly influenced by Yifangkao. He concluded that 'aggregationaccumulation' was a disease of stuffiness, and suggested its cure in through 'yangjingzezichu' and 'treatment of blood aspect'. He recognized the disease of 'reversal of qi' as the disease of 'jiaoqi'. He also indicated that the word of 'qi' is not 'rough' but 'tears' or 'yingfengliulei'. Conclusion : 1. He was an excellent medical practitioner and scholar in the history of oriental medicine. 2. He found and corrected errors in the opinions of Wang Bing, Ma Shi, and Wu Kun. 3. He frequently practiced Taipinghuiminhejijufang, and considered Spleen-Stomach, yin-blood, and fire-heat important. 4. He captured the spirit of Huangdisuwenxuanminglunfang, Neijingshiyifanglun, Yifangkao in views of remedy and theory. 5. Neijingshiyifanglun with additions and emendations is the most comprehensive book about fanglun because of its thorough analysis of the Hwangdineijing and its connection to the treatment of ancient diseases in Oriental Medical History.
Objectives : There are plenty of medical record of acupuncture & moxibustion in Traditional East Asian medicine(TEAM). We performed this study to find out the hidden criteria lies on this record to choose proper acupoints. Methods : "Zhenjiuzishengjing", ancient TEAM book was analysed using document clustering techniques. Corpus was made from this book. It contained 196 texts driven from each symptoms. Each texts converted to vector representing frequency of 349 acupoints. Distance of vectors calculated by weighted Euclidean distance method. According to this distances, hierarchical clustering of symptoms was builded. Results : The cluster consisted of five large groups. they had high corelation with body part; head and face, chest, abdomen, upper extremity, lower extremity, back. Conclusions : It assumes that body part of symptom is the most importance criteria of acupoints selecting. some high similar symptom vectors consolidated this result. the other criteria is cause and pathway of illness. some symptoms bound together which had common cause and pathway.
In the literature study by the comparative method was carried out on the book of an Introduction to oriental medicine, which was published in China, recently. The results were as follows: The contents of the book was divided by Introduction, Um-Yang-O-Hang(陰陽五行), Qi-Hyul-Chinec(氣血津液), Jang-Bu(臟腑學說), Meridian(經絡), Etiology, Diagnosis, and treatment. This study did not treat the Ancient Chineses character hard to understnad, methodlolgy of traditional literature, and comparison to the western medicine.
"The Golden Mirror of Medicine(醫宗金鑑)" is a very famous medical book. It was compiled by the medical officers of the Cheong(淸, Qing) Dynasty, especially headed by Ogyeom(吳謙, Wuqian). "The Elimination & Supplement about the Famous Prescription Comments(刪補名醫方論)"that forms one part of "The Golden Mirror of Medicine(醫宗金鑑)", is a collection of famous notes about important prescriptions. Many parts of "The Elimination & Supplement about the Famous Prescription Comments(刪補名醫方論)" were quoted from "The Famous Prescription Comments on Ancient and Modern Times(古今名醫方論)". The first part of the vol. Ⅱ of "The Elimination & Supplement about the Famous Prescription Comments(刪補名醫方論)"mainly describes about the prescriptions of elevating Yanggi[升陽], which were invented by Igo(李杲, Ligao), a famous physician of the Geum(金, Jin) Dynasty. The treatments were five and three of them were quoted from "The Famous Prescription Comments on Ancient and Modern Times(古今名醫方論)". The basic rule of herbal combination of these prescriptions is a combination of herbs of strengthening-gi[補氣] and dispersing herbs[發散藥]. If the dispersing herbs[發散藥] is used with the herbs of strengthening-gi[補氣藥], they elevate Yanggi(陽氣) together.
Objectives : In studying East Asia's medical classics, what must first be done before evaluating the validities of clinical grounds is the discernment of the techniques that are based on universal principles from the statements that arise from individual experience. The purpose of this paper is to discover a method of discerning the statements of individual experiences and the descriptions of universal principles. Ingredients and Methods : The paper investigates how each individual clinical experience was introduced in ancient medical classics such as Huangdineijing, Nanjing, Shanghanlun, Jinkuiyaolue, and Maijing, in the books that belong to Yian such as Canggongliechuan, Linzhengzhinanyian, Gujinyianan, and Xumingyileian, and in Korean ancient medical texts such as Eonhae-gugeubbang and Gugeubganibang-eonhae. Results : Books of precriptions and scriptures of medicine were found to include individual experiences. Furthermore, this paper's effort has revealed that the evaluation of the quality of a testimony in an ancient book must be preceded by discerning whether the said testimony is a mere personal testimony or a testimony based on the universal law of causality. Conclusions : Before conducting a clinical research of a precription contained in an East Asian medical classic, the text should first be evaluated to determine whether the prescription in question derives from clinical tests or not.
