We question whether Korean IT managers consider real options to reduce risks of cloud service implementation. This work investigates the impact of technology risk, relationship risk, economy risk, security risk upon the intention of IT managers to utilize abandon & expansion options. We also analyze moderation effect of centralization level of decision making between these risks and the utilization of real options. Using the survey questionnaire, we empirically find that technology risk, relationship risk and security risk have significant effect upon abandon option and technology risk, relationship risk, and economy upon expansion option. We also find the evidence that centralization level moderates some risks and the direction of moderation effect is to offset the effect of risks on intention to utilize real options.

The objective of this study is to analyze how consumption value affects customer satisfaction toward eco-friendly seafood products. Moderating role of gender is also examined. For empirical validation of our model, data were collected from a cross-sectional survey of 307 consumers in the South Korea, who have bought a eco-friendly seafood, a representatives eco-friendly product. The results demonstrated several important findings. First, emotional consumption value, social consumption value and functional consumption value had significant positive effects on eco-friendly seafood product satisfaction, Second, interaction effect of social value and gender had a positive effect on satisfaction. Third, interaction effect of functional value and gender had a negative effect on satisfaction. Theoretical and managerial implications are suggested.

Electropolishing, the anodic dissolution process without contact with tools, is a surface treatment method to make a surface planarization using an electrochemical reaction with low current density. Nitinol is a metal alloy composed of Ni and Ti around 50% respectively which has shape memory effect. Nitinol can be put various applications which require purity and high pricision surface of products. The aim of this study is to investigate the characteristic of electropolishing effect for nitinol workpieces. In order to analyze the characteristics of electropolishing effect, surface roughness and micro-burr size were measured in terms of machining conditions such as current density, machining time and electrode gap. The tendencies about improvement of surface roughness and deburring effect by electropolishing for nitinol workpieces were determined.

This study aims to examine the characteristics of farming settlement in young farmers. In order to analyze the effect of each characteristic on young farmers' intention for settling into farming, an ordered logit model was employed. As for the individual characteristics affecting their intention for settling into farming, age and the highest education level showed a positive effect, while family-run farming had a negative effect, which was found statistically significant. For the financial characteristics, farm income had a statistically significant positive effect. On the other hand, the social and policy characteristics did not show any statistically significant effect.

Many researches have been performed to shorten drying time and cost of red pepper in Korea. Nevertheless, an effective drying method for red pepper is not developed yet. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of opening ratio of red pepper's surface on drying for development of an effective drying method. The drying method with punching treatment is expected to be effectively utilized for shortening drying time and improving quality of red pepper.

Balanced cantilever construction is extensively used in the construction of prestressed concrete (PSC) box-girder bridges. Shear-lag effect is usually considered in finished bridges, while the cumulative shear-lag effect in bridges during balanced cantilever construction is considered only rarely. In this paper, based on the balanced cantilever construction sequences of large-span PSC box-girder bridges, the difference method is employed to analyze the cumulative shear-lag effect of box girders with varying depth under the concrete segments' own weight. During cantilever construction, no negative shear-lag effect is generated, and the cumulative shear-lag effect under the balanced construction procedure is greater than the instantaneous shear-lag effect in which the full dead weight is applied to the entire cantilever. Three cross-sections of Jianjiang Bridge were chosen for the experimental observation of shear-lag effect, and the experimental results are in keeping with the theoretical results of cumulative shear-lag effect. The research indicates that only calculating the instantaneous shear-lag effect is not sufficiently safe for practical engineering purposes.

본고에서는 IT산업이 우리 경제에 미친 효과를 산업연관표를 중심으로 분석하고자 한다. 1980년부터 2003년 기간의 산업연관표를 활용해 IT 산업의 국민경제에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하였다. IT 산업은 국민경제에서 차지하는 비중이 지속적으로 증대함에도 불구하고 생산파급효과는 대체로 감소하지만 가격효과는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. IT 산업의 산업연관 관계를 보다 면밀히 살펴보기 위해 9개 산업분야를 대상으로 IT 산업이 미치는 효과를 추정하였다. 그 결과 대부분 산업에서의 IT산업 영향력은 지속적으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 청년층의 직업선택과 창업과정에서 영향을 주는 요인에 관하여 실증분석하였다. 분석방법은 진로 체계가 잘 구축되어 있거나 창업이 활성화된 비교대상 6개 국가(중국, 인도네시아, 영국, 독일, 이스라엘, 미국)를 선정하여 비교 분석하였다. 통계의 표본은 글로벌 기업가 정신 트랜드 지수(GETR) 데이터를 활용하였으며, 7개국 청년층의 7,082명을 표본으로 활용하였다. 다변량 분산분석과 상관관계 분석을 통하여 요인별 국가 간의 평균비교를 하였으며, 부모 영향도의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 직업선택의 영향요인으로 직업만족도, 부모 영향도, 직업변경 의향도로 나타났다. 한국의 직업만족도는 7개국 중 가장 낮았으며 직업변경 의향도는 가장 높게 나타났다. 한편, 부모 영향도는 7개국 중 중간수준으로 나타났으며, 직업만족도가 직업변경 의향도에 영향을 주는 과정에서 유사 조절효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 창업의 영향요인으로 창업교육, 창업의지, 직업만족도, 부모 영향도로 나타났다. 이원배치 분산분석을 통하여 국가 간의 평균 비교분석과 요인 상호간의 영향도를 검증하였으며, 부모 영향도의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 모든 국가에서 창업교육이 창업의지를 높이는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 직업만족도가 창업의지에 영향을 주는 과정에서 부모 영향도가 유사 조절효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 향후 정부와 대학 등 교육기관에서 청년층의 진로 전반에 대한 정책방향을 수립 시 도움이 될 유용한 시사점이 될 것이다.

Currently there is much interested in removing latent charge that is caused to latent image effect and blurring of obtained image as well as reduction of x-ray conversion efficiency in digital radiography system. To remove latent charge a-Se film is irradiated by light with 3500 lux using halogen lamp and optical fiber. We measured dark current and photosensitivity to analyze removing effect of latent charge, then compared with and without light erasing method. The reduction of measured signal due to latent charge effect was 32.5 %, and the removal effect of latent charge by using light erase method was its 95.5 %.
