Although most bridge foundations are usually constructed by Caisson, terrain difficulties sometimes bring about constructing bridge foundations by Jacket piles. This study investigated the dynamic characteristics of Caisson and Jacket by testing the impact applied to actual bridge foundations. The test result showed that the damping ratio of the foundation constructed by Jacket and Caisson were measured 1-2% and 3-6%, respectively. Considering the lateral deflection measured by the impact test, the rigidity of foundations constructed by Jacket was assessed about 1/5 - 1/6 of those constructed by Caisson. It implies that designing bridge foundations should include and reflect the dynamic analysis of bridge foundation.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the collapse characteristics of widely used spot welded section members coated damping material Y1000 and to develop an analysis method for acquiring exact collapse loads and energy absorption ratio. Hat-shaped thin-walled members have the biggest energy absorbing capacity in a front-end collision. The sections were tested on quasi-static and impact loads. Specimens with two type thickness, width ratio and spot weld pitch on the flange have been tested in impact velocities(6.73n0sec and 7.54n1sec) which imitate a real-life car collision. As a result, it was developed the system for acquiring impact energy absorbing characteristics of structure united thin-walled member and damping materials.

The rifle impact of human body affected by the posture of human for rifling. The interaction human-rifle system influence the firing accuracy. In this paper, impact analysis of human model for shooting posture is carried out. ADAMS code and LifeMOD is used in impact analysis of human model and modeling of the human body, respectively. On the shooting, human model is affected by rifle impact during the 0.001 second. Performed simulation time for shooting is 0.1 second. Applied constraint condition to human-rifle system is rotating and spherical condition. As the results, the displacement of rifle and transfer path analysis of impact of human model is presented.

On the human-rifle system, the human body is affected by the firing impact. The firing impact will reduce the firing accuracy and change the initial shooting posture. Therefore the study of biomechanical characteristics using human-rifle modeling and numerical investigation is needed. The musculoskeletal model is developed by finite element method using beam and spar elements. In this study structural analysis has been performed in order to investigate the human body impact by firing of 5.56mm small caliber machine gun. The firing experiments with the standing shooting postures were performed to verify analytical results. The result if this study shows analytical displacements of the human-rifle system and experimental displacements of the real firing. As the results, the analytical displacement and stress of human body are presented.

The purpose of this research is to test the effects of employee perceived job characteristics on service quality. Empirical analysis was based on the data of 692 hotel employees from Seoul and Gyung-gi province. To test the relationship between job characteristics and service quality, multiple regression analysis was applied, and hierarchial regression analysis(Cohen & Cohen, 1983) applied to test the moderating effects of gender and tenure. Multiple regressional analysis showed that job importance, job variety, and feedback had an affirmative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, but autonomy had a negative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance.

Generally, fiber-reinforced composites have the highest possibilities of impact damages with external object collisions. Also, resulting in fatigue fracture considering the continued impact load. For the reasons mentioned above, the accurate understanding of interactions between the impact of composites and the fatigue load will be essential to understand the safety level of material structures. Furthermore, the composite materials and structures, due to the geometrical effect, vary the life in connection with the impact-fatigue. Therefore, I have reached the point that a focus of this study will be to evaluate fatigue fracture characteristics by the impacts-fatigue load of fiber-reinforced composites. Thus, in this paper, I have tried to work on impacts-fatigue load causing aspects and impact characteristics through impact-fatigue test on HTV-5Hl Black 9250 material made- structure, along with to evaluate the expected lift of real structures, the FEM analysis was carried out.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of social voluntary activity on the identity of women's college students. universities are functionally constituted by teaching, researching and social service. Data for analysis are collected 439 students at K women's college in other to examine research questions, t-test and regression test. The results of this analysis are as follows : First, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the college students who had ever experienced social voluntary activity and who had not. Second, The personal characteristics did not give an impact, but their satisfaction was under the influence of institutional support for supervision and altitude of themselves for social service, which were part of the institution characteristics. Third, The social service effectiveness was not affected by the personal characteristics, except influenced by the instituitional characteristits such as degree of compensation an influence on self-esteem. also social welfare and morality were not affected. Fourth, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the impact of service satisfaction on service effectiveness.

The paper aims to investigate the impact of budgetary goal on profit growth directly and indirectly through managerial performance. Two main characteristics of budgetary goal mentioning in the study are the clarity of budget goal and the difficult of budget goal. Data of the research collected from survey with 197 department managers and supervisors of 80 SMEs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City who have budgeting responsible. Firstly, by using quantitative research method Cronbach's Alpha and Exploratory Factor Analysis, the research show that characteristic of budgetary goal has significant and positive impact on profit growth directly. Secondly, the regression analysis among variables show that budget goal clarity was positively and significantly related to growth of sale revenue, growth of profit and managerial performance. Therefore, the empirical findings show that that managerial performance has mediating role in the relationship between budgetary goal characteristic and financial performance. The findings of this study suggest that that managers need focus on setting clearer and more difficult but attainable budget goals to increase firm performance. This paper also provides a new insight the relationship between managerial performance and financial performance. Budgetary goal characteristics still have positive but insignificant impact on growth of sales revenue.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting oral health impact profile. Methods: Subjects included elderly in the metropolitan areas of the cities of Daegu and Gyeong-buk. Statistical analysis was done using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 19.0 for Windows. We determined frequencies and percentage, calculating means, and standard deviations, and determining statistical significance using T-tests, analysis of variance, multiple regression analysis. Results: The results of multiple regression analysis between the oral health impact profile and the related factors indicated that Occupation, Economic status are the major component oral health impact profile in general characteristics and the Impediment of oral health promotion behavior is the major component that contribute the oral health impact profile in oral health belief. Conclusion: The comprehensive and reliable research which measures oral health impact profile of elderly is necessary.

This study analyzed the factors affecting economic growth using multiple regression model and Geographically Weighted Regression in consideration of population, industry and employment, housing and political characteristics on economic growth by region. The analysis results are summarized as follows. First, the total employment growth rate, manufacturing employment growth rate, local election turnout and the level of party consensus between the central and local governments are having a positive impact on regional economic growth. Second, according to the GWR analysis, the population has a positive impact on economic growth in the southern region of Korea, and the increase in the total number of employees has a positive impact on the southern region of Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Province, North Chungcheong Province and North Gyeongsang Province. Finally, the voter turnout of urbanites is positively affecting economic growth in South Chungcheong Province, Gangwon Province and the southern coast, while North Jeolla and South Jeolla provinces have a positive impact on economic growth as the parties of the central and local governments are equal. The results of this study may suggest the role of local government for regional economic development.
