The study of non-destructive analysis of objects excavated at the tomb of Mich’un-ri in Ch’ung-won (유물의 비파괴 조사 연구-청원 미천리 고분 출토 유물을 중심으로)

  • We performed the non-destructive analysis of objects excavated at the Tomb of Mich’un-ri in Ch’ung-won. We analysed components using of Energy Dispersive X-Ray Micro-Fluorescence Analyzer. Glass bead inlaid with silver was classified as K2O-CaO-SiO2 type of glass. Purity of silver inlaid in the surface was verified above 97%.All small ear-ring were made by rolling up gold broad to a bronze wick. The composition ratio of Au : Ag has significantly higher 87 : 11 than bigear-ring. As a result of composition analysis of a welded part with big ear-ring, it contained the more Cu, Hg contents and the less Au, Ag contents than the surface of big ear-ring.

Analysis of Dietary Informations in Newspapers and Magazine for Children (2002) (어린이신문 및 잡지에 게재된 식생활 관련 정보 현황조사(2002년))

  • Children regard newspapers and magazines as the important source of information. Because informations about diet in the newspaper and magazines are regarded as good, it is necessary to find out whether informations provided to children are correct. Thus, this study shows the present situation of informations on diet by monitoring 3 newspapers (Kids. Chosun, Kids. Donga, Kids. Hankook) and 2 magazines (Earinee - Dongsan, Sae-But) for children. This study focused on the quantitative and the qualitative analysis for articles and advertisements. For the quantity, rate and number were calculated. For the quality, the accuracy was analyzed. Result of this study were as follow; Analyzed the number of articles and advertisements on diet, there are 2 times more number of advertisements (339 cases) than that of articles (180 cases) in the newspaper. There are slightly more number of advertisements (24 cases) than that of articles (18 cases) in the magazine. Most of advertisements are about processed foods and children' favorite foods. Especially, the advertisement of processed foods are ranked first by the quantity with 245 cases (75%) in the newspaper. In the magazine, 10 cases (42%) are about processed foods. About source of advertisements on diet informations in the newspaper, there are 300 cases (86.7%) without evidence based data and 34 cases (9.8%) of interview with entertainers, from the total 346 cases. In the magazine, there are high rate of cases without evidence based data and interview with entertainers. For the evaluation of the information about diet in the newspaper, there are 148 cases (19.7%) with no clear guidance and position, some cases with advertisements for specific products and etc. Discordance between subjects and contents, and emphasis of specified field or some parts are found from the total 750 cases. About the accuracy of contents, from the total 180 cases in the newspaper, 99 cases (55%) are inappropriate and 19 cases (10.6%) are appropriate. In magazines from the total 18 cases, 7 cases (38.9%) are inappropriate and 11 cases (61.1 %) are appropriate. With these results, we can conclude that informations about diet in newspapers and magazine for children needs improvement. Therefore, for newspapers and magazines contents should be reported scienifically by inspecting contents and by taking professional advice, in order to spread the accurate information about diet.   • The appearance of Internet, the 5th medium which has succeeded newspaper, magazine, TV, radio, creates WEB MAGAZINE to overcome the restriction of space and time. This paper has conducted the contents and visual points of view in webmagazine. Through case study, the following and identify for the analysis of the webmagazine contents and visual format. Firstly, communication at webmagazine is carried out at the user-centered atmosphere. Secondly, Even through an aesthetic is emphasized in the webmagazine, when web designer compose of the web site, it is necessary to find the proper methodology under the basis of user's behavior. Thirdly, Although webmagazine required the visual form, we should know that the evaluation of webmagazine should be implemented by users. Therefore, webmagazine should be designed by the user-centered layout.

  • On the premise that it is effective and necessary to make use of science magazines among any other media, the desirable direction of science magazines and, further more and the merits of magazines to promote the development of good science magazines are suggested. To see the present status of science magazines in Korea, we analyzed the public view on the science magazines by secondary school students and science teachers. We also assorted and analyzed the contents through the subjects of the issues of three major magazines published in 1991. Through the interview with the editor staffs of each magazine, the characteristics of each magazine and the editers' hopes to present the direction in the future were analyzed. As a result, the basic conditions which science magazines should equip and the required conditions to apply the basic conditions to make them better were suggested.

  • The Internet provides a new distribution channel of digital contents for conventional media firms such as newspaper, magazine and encyclopedia publishers and broadcasting companies with very low marginal production and distribution cost. In comparison to traditional offline channel, there have been various revenue models in online content markets such as advertising model, subscription model, affiliation fee model, etc. In the earlier of the Internet era, most of online content firms provided their services free in order to boost offline revenue or they depend on advertising revenue sources in lieu of attaining revenue from their contents. However, as many online content firms are confronted with many difficulties in attaining revenues from online advertising model, they began to charge their contents. This paper shows why they charge their contents and explores entry conditions when conventional firms enter online content markets. And also this paper discusses managerial implications related to pricing strategies in online content markets.

  • In this study I selected the keyword analysis method to infer what's the components of production system. Magazine , were chosen, because they are most close media to production reality. After content analysis of , key words of main reports were programming production, institution policy, industry, technology. As for , institution policy, organization, programming production, collective action were frequently found. Even though there are some differences between two media, institution policy, industry, technology, organization keywords are very salient components regarding programming production.

  • Objective: Previous studies suggested the potential influence of YouTube videos regarding dentistry on the mass population. However, there was not any clear investigation for Korean population. We aimed to systemically analyze the type of the dentistry-related videos uploaded on YouTube Korea and the accounts used for uploading, and to assess their effect on the view count of the content. Methods: Classification, type of the accounts, and view count of the videos listed by the keyword 'dentistry' were analyzed, which were uploaded on YouTube Korea platform from September 2017 to April 2019. Kruskal-Wallis test with post hoc analysis was used to assess the effect of the classification of the videos and the type of accounts on the view count. Results: 1.026 videos were enrolled to the analysis. Primary classification of the videos was information/education, advertisement, life, news, child contents, autonomous sensory meridian response, broadcast, cartoon/game, humor, and music. Secondary classification of the videos was dental experience, advertisement, role-playing, information/education., humor, cartoon/game, child contents, life, and broadcast. Type of the accounts was dentistry associates, general public, media company, and government office (sorted by frequency). Subject of the most videos (93.6%) was general public. There was statistically significance in the view count of the videos according to the primary and secondary classifications, the account used for uploading, and target subject of the videos. Conclusion: Dentists and their associates should recognize the importance of YouTube platform and try to monitor and intervene the dentistry-related contents, considering its huge impact on the general public.

  • This study is about gilt bronze ornament, that is from Deok Cheon-Ri in Gyeong Ju, of conservation treatment process and of scientific analysis. This relic gathered with soil around the relic by Polyurethane foam. While the relic got rid of soil, Took X-rays. As the result, we decided to process reconstruction as condition that the relic was dug up. After the conservation treatment processed, we made a frame to display the relic. Investigated manufacture techniques of the relic after the conservation treatment processed, and thenexecuted scientific analysis of the relic for a chemical experiment. A analysis of the results of components for composition layers using the SEM-EDS can be briefly summarized as below; Firstly, the average contents of outer, inner and body corrosion layer have a Cu-60.9~39.3wt% and analyzed a little impurities material which is Fe-0.5wt%.Secondly, the average contents of body have a Cu-99.7wt% which was using manufactured by pure copper. Thirdly, gold layer have a mercury of 9.5wt% which indicate that layer was manufactured by mercury amalgam gilding technique.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine Korean restaurant industry during $1979{\sim}2001$, and to review Korean restaurant industry related by statistics. Finally, to predict the Korean restaurant industry, major restaurant industry was categorized into fast food restaurants, family restaurants, pizza restaurants and ice cream restaurants. A contents analysis used to review Korea food industry yearly statistics and monthly magazine 'restaurant'. Korean food service industry yearly statistics have been published since 1980, the magazine 'Restaurant' has been published since 1985, but the statistics was recorded from 1995.
