국내 산림탄소상쇄 운영표준 및 VCS 방법론에 따른 산림경영 사업의 산림탄소흡수량 차이 분석 - 벌기령 연장 사업 방법론을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Forest Carbon Offset Credits from Forest Management Project based on to the Korean Forest Carbon Offset Standard and the VCS Methodology - Case Study on the Methodology for Forest Management through Extension of Rotation Age -)

  • In this study, it was intended to compare the two methodologies for forest management project through extension of rotation age: Korean Forest Carbon Offset Standard (KFOS) and Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). The amount of carbon removals and offset credits based on the two methodologies and their trends were analyzed in this study. The major difference between two methodologies were found at the process of estimation of baseline carbon removals. For instance, average carbon stock during the project period was used for estimation of baseline carbon removals in KFOS, while average carbon stock change during the 100 years was used in VCS. Due to the different approach for estimation of baseline carbon removal, the estimated offset credits were also different according to the two methodologies. In this study, 15 project scenarios were considered for comparison of two methodologies : 5 major coniferous stands in Korea (Pinus densiflora in Gangwon region, Pinus densiflora in Central region, Pinus koraiensis, Larix leptolepis, Chamaecyparis obtusa) with 3 project periods (30, 35, 40 years). The results showed that estimated carbon offset credits based on the KFOS methodology were higher for all 15 scenarios compared to those based on the VCS methodology. The KFOS showed a steep decline in the annual offset credit as project period gets longer, thus it is not desirable for projects with longer period. VCS is more acceptable for longer projects with a small difference according to the project periods. The results also indicated that Pinus densiflora in Gangwon, Pinus koraiensis, and Larix leptolepis are more desirable species for forest management project through the extension of ration age.

  • Recently, the reliability evaluation and analysis are applied for many industrial products, and many products are required to guarantee in quality and in efficiency. The purpose of this paper is to present some of reliability prediction methodologies that are applicable to machine tools. Especially ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) and Interface Card of PC-NC, which are core components of the machine tools, were chosen as the target of the reliability evaluation and analysis. The results of this research has shown the failure rate, MTBF(Mean Time Between Failure), and reliability for those components. It is expected that proposed methodologies will be applicable to evaluation of reliability for other industrial products.

  • The failure of LCC analysis is recognized as a serious risk for companies in fast-paced business environment. LCC analysis has been mentioned and analyzed only in accounting perspectives, but recently engineering perspectives of LCC analysis based on the execution of appropriate procedures become more important than the accounting perspectives. Especially, the practical use of reliability engineering related methodologies is recognized as a key factor for the LCC analysis. For the practical use of reliability methods, LCC analysis for unexposed problems is a key issue, and utilizing FMEA and FTA techniques is needed to solve the unexposed problems. Reliability, maintainability, availability, and safety should be evaluated by the LCC analysis with the reliability methods, so we study methodologies for the LCC analysis. Present Worth can be calculated by multiplication of Annual Equivalent Cost and PWAF. Reliability engineering related methods are needed for the process of dividing Present Worth into PWAF, and the practical use of reliability methods can improve accuracy of LCC analysis.

  • 컴포넌트에 의한 시스템 구축은 기능 중심의 독립적인 컴포넌트를 기반으로 새로운 소프트웨어를 구축한다. 컴포넌트를 중심으로 한 소프트웨어의 개발은 품질향상, 마른 개발과 유지보수의 효율성과 같은 소프트웨어의 재사용에 의해서 얻을 수 있는 이익을 얻을 수 있다. 컴포넌트 기반의 시스템에서 재사용성을 높일 수 있는 고 품질 컴포넌트의 효율적인 식별과 구축은 가장 중요한 목표이자 성공 요소이다. 따라서 컴포넌트 개발자는 현재 각 컴포넌트 개발 방법론들의 컴포넌트 식별에 대한 장점과 단점을 파악하여 개발하고자 하는 시스템에 적합한 방법론을 선택하는 것이 필요하고 또한 여러 방법론의 단점을 보완하여 독립적인 컴포넌트를 효율적으로 식별할 수 있는 새로운 방법론을 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 그러기 위해서는 다양한 방법론에 대한 비교 분석이 절실히 요청된다. 본 논문은 최근에 산업계에서 널리 쓰이고 있는 대표적인 컴포넌트 기반 소프트웨어 개발 방법론인 Rational사의 RUP(Rational Unified Process)[1,9], Computer Associates사의 CBD96[2,3]과, Compuware사의 UNIFACE[5] 그리고 Cheesman과 Daniels가 CBD96의 컴포넌트 개발 방법을 화장하여 제안한 UML Components 방법론[4] 등의 컴포넌트 식별 방법을 설명하고 그들의 문제점을 기술한다. 그리고 컴포넌트 식별 방법들을 총체적인 측면에서 비교 분석한다.

토양 내 미세플라스틱의 축적경로 및 분석기법 연구 동향 (Research Trend on the Accumulation Routes of Microplastics in Soil and Their Analytical Methodologies)

  • 본 연구에서는 미세플라스틱의 토양 내 축적경로와 분포현황에 대해 살펴보고, 토양시료 내 미세플라스틱 분석기법을 요약 제시하였다. 토양으로부터 미세플라스틱을 분리해내는 밀도차 선별 및 방해물질 제거과정과 정성/정량분석 기법으로써 pyrolysis gas chromatography mass spectrometry, µ-Raman spectrometry, fourier transform infrared spectrometry와 microscope 방법의 기본원리 및 분석의 한계점에 대해 살펴보았다. 미세플라스틱 매개 유해물질(첨가제 및 흡착물질)의 분석을 위한 화학적 추출방법을 인체 경구 섭취경로에 대한 in vitro 생물학적접근성 평가법을 중심으로 조사하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 토양 중 미세플라스틱 분석기법의 원리를 바탕으로 매질상태, 오염수준 및 시료수량 등을 고려한 합리적인 분석기법의 선정이 가능하리라 기대된다.

다기준 의사결정 기반의 물류중개 에이전트 (Multi-Criteria Decision Making Based Logistics Brokerage Agents)

  • In this paper we deal with the logistics brokerage process in which a logistics agent intermediates between vehicle owners and shippers for matching empty vehicles and freights. Based on the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methodology, the proposed agent system matches the most preferred empty vehicle to the shipper and the most preferred freight to the vehicle owner. In the proposed agent system, an MCDM based sensitivity analysis is also used for supporting decision makers under negotiations. Among various MCDM methodologies, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is utilized in this paper. Although AHP is one of the most popular MCDM methodologies, AHP needs a number of pair-wise comparisons for assessing alternatives and hence may give excessive decision making burden to the decision makers. In this paper, in order to reduce the decision making burden, a preference function based estimation method is proposed. We can expect that the MCDM based logistics brokerage agent can be used as an efficient and effective tool for e-logistics marketplaces on the internet.
