  • The effectiveness of mathematics classroom teaching is directly affected by the teaching language. Comparing the teaching language of a novice teacher in algebra instruction with an expert teacher from the perspective of pragmatics, it comes to a conclusion that: both teachers attach great importance to the use of the teaching language, with the proportion of the teaching language time more than 50%; the novice teacher uses the affirmative language frequently, twice as often as the expert teacher; the declarative language the novice teacher uses in the exploration is mostly to repeat students' answer, which takes up a short time; the novice teacher uses the teaching language too much in the consolidation, which causes fewer opportunities for students to think. Then we get the following revelations: streamline the teaching language and control the time of the teaching language reasonably; make good use of the affirmative language to provide students hints and necessary time for thinking; avoid simple restatement of the student's answer and use the declarative language ingeniously to improve the feedback quality; use the teaching language appropriately to help students accumulate basic experience in mathematics activities.

  • Traditionally most of studies on voluntary turnover have focused on identifying the determinants of it under the implicit assumption that negative attitudue raises turnover rate and, in turn, it undermines organizational effectiveness. But, recently many scholars have argued that more focus be placed on the functionalty than the frequency of turnover. Based on the recent trend of voluntary turnover, this paper is to analyse the differences of the Intention to Leave(IL) level according to job characteristics(job variety, job importance, job autonomy, job identity, feedback)$\times$functionality(employee ability, attitude). Resulting from 2-way ANOVA, the Negative-attitude Group(NG) is found to expose significantly high IL level than the Affirmative-attitude Group(AG) in low job variety, low job autonomy, low job importance.

  • The purpose of this research is to test the effects of employee perceived job characteristics on service quality. Empirical analysis was based on the data of 692 hotel employees from Seoul and Gyung-gi province. To test the relationship between job characteristics and service quality, multiple regression analysis was applied, and hierarchial regression analysis(Cohen & Cohen, 1983) applied to test the moderating effects of gender and tenure. Multiple regressional analysis showed that job importance, job variety, and feedback had an affirmative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, but autonomy had a negative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance.

  • This research classified the customer service factor of on-line shopping mall into tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy and analyzed the effect that the factors affect to consumer's purchase and re-purchase. If we present suggestions on the basis of these results of study, we would provide next two points: First, purchasers have utilized online shopping mall who pursued free from hard sell that being done in off-line and convenience of purchase affected more by reliability and responsiveness such as the fame of shopping mall that visit, reliability of security, and quick product search than the Customer of After-purchase Feedback influence for online purchasers decision factor out of consumer's purchase and re-purchase by on-line shopping mall customer service factor. Second, This study analyzed that online re-purchaser recognized the Customer of After-purchase Feedback factor high and built their loyalty through friendly emotion of on-line shopping mall and satisfaction of shopping mall service, and recommendation. In addition, they behave themselves as an affirmative messenger that is role of the Customer of After-purchase Feedback that make active opinion presentation and participation through community by important adjustment impact that empathy factor of on-line shopping mall customer service.

  • This study is based on an empirical study on consequences of emotions and emotional labor in the food-service industry. It analyzed the effect of emotional labor on emotions of emotional laborers and the effect of emotional labor on communication skills. Data used for analysis were collected through the questionnaire surveyed on the various samples including employees of family restaurants, Korean restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Japanese restaurants, etc. The result of data analysis indicated that only the efforts for emotional expressions among the factors influenced affirmative emotion(P-value=0.042). It also showed that the factor of the efforts for emotional expressions by researchers had a positive effect on both language communication skills and non-language communication skills(P-value=0.000). This study was valuable in the aspect that emotions and communication skills were first selected as dependent variables of emotional labor and it verified causality between emotional labor and these variables. However, it also has some limitations that its sample size was small and it depended on convenience sampling.

  • Sentiment analysis is one of the promising approaches for developing a point of interest (POI) recommendation system. It uses natural language processing techniques that deploy expert insights from user-generated content such as reviews and feedback. By applying sentiment polarities (positive, negative, or neutral) associated with each POI, the recommendation system can suggest the most suitable POIs for specific users. The proposed study combines two models for POI recommendation. The first model uses bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) to predict sentiments and is trained on an election dataset. It is observed that the proposed model outperforms existing models in terms of accuracy (99.52%), precision (99.53%), recall (99.51%), and F1-score (99.52%). Then, this model is used on the Foursquare dataset to predict the class labels. Following this, user and POI embeddings are generated. The next model recommends the top POIs and corresponding coordinates to the user using the LSTM model. Filtered user interest and locations are used to recommend POIs from the Foursquare dataset. The results of our proposed model for the POI recommendation system using sentiment analysis are compared to several state-of-the-art approaches and are found quite affirmative regarding recall (48.5%) and precision (85%). The proposed system can be used for trip advice, group recommendations, and interesting place recommendations to specific users.

  • In this era of the knowledge-based economy, the most important issue that we faced is the management of the knowledge workers who is the main source of enterprise. There has been a big issue on the organizational commitment recently which is the idea of how much employees have a positive affection to the enterprise they work for and also how much time, knowledge and energy employees are willing to invest for their company success. Improving this concept would provide a meaningful implication in managing the knowledge workers. This research which is based on previous studies, it aims to control the effect on the organizational commitment by Shared Leadership which puts the job characteristics of knowledge workers into a dominant factor. As a result of the study, among the several job characteristics, autonomy and a feedback had a positive effect on the organizational commitment. Shared Leadership as a moderating variable, has shown an affirmative effect on autonomy, a feedback, and problem solving as an independent variable and on the organizational commitment as a dependent variable. However, related to the job complexity, it did not show a notable influence. Also, the Shared Leadership has shown a favorable impact on the feedback and problem solving, but barely effected on autonomy or job complexity.

  • This study investigated the effect of visual mathematics education using smartphones and immediate feedback through SNS on students' understanding of basic mathematical concept and academic achievement at the tertiary level. Researchers analyzed the test results of 214 students' mid-term and final examination in 4 classes consisted of 16 weeks' classes with two hours per week. Also their 30 questionnaire survey results were analyzed. The result reveals that classes using smartphones promoted understanding mathematical concepts and induced students' motivation and affirmative reaction. This study implies that an appropriate use of technology will support dynamic visualization of mathematical modeling and its interpretation, which enables students' active participation and deeper understanding.
