  • Recently orders of projects in the field of oil and gas plants have increased due to rising oil prices and consumption. The markets of oil and gas plants are expanding into the Middle East area and all over the world. Because the oil and gas markets have a lot of overseas construction operations, competition among advanced companies is more important. However, companies in the period of growth have not had enough competitive powers of license in the design phase. Therefore, they are faced with difficulty of adopting the technology which is maximizing the effect of investments, and scheduling of a long-range plan. In order to achieve adequate technology management and competitive power, this study considers a long-range plan through an analysis of an appropriate introduction and the strategic planning process of technology management.

  • In this regard, the newly focused logistics information system makes reducing the expenses of whole logistic available by cutting down the expenses of materials, transportation and stock and also, it allows the company to cut down the procurement expense through the reduced lead-time and rationalize producing plans by eliminating the uncertain orders and fluctuation in procurement. It further more optimizes the efficiency of over all productions by meeting the dead line for delivery to the customers. In the recent environment of globalization where fierce competitions exist between manufacturers, logistics plays important role in the strategies of companies, and managements of companies try their best efforts in establishing the strategy to accomplish the innovative relationship between supply chain channels. Therefore, in this study, we try to suggest the model of consolidated logistics system that is integrated logistics information system with suggesting the better way of logistics and comparative analysis with logistics system to resolve the difficulties numbers of companies face after realizing what logistics information system is in Korea.

  • In order for the companies under current business environment to survive, develop, and to grow more complicated than the companies under a simple competition, they have to make a management decision considering the relationships among companies and constraints. Since product life is shortening and customers' needs is changing, companies should reflect the change in their agenda, and should be spontaneous to the change. In this study, I will analyze and improve the factors of APS systmem.

  • Recently, monitoring systems, such as POP, take a core role in scheduling or planning of manufacturing facilities for production, maintenance, and so on. Such monitoring systems require functionalities for real-time parameter monitoring and controlling to maximize efficiency of facilities. However, vendors usually do not provide internal communication protocols or interface to access the machine controller. Therefore, the values of parameters related to machine operations and controls cannot be easily accessed from external devices. In this paper, we propose an interface methodology for a real-time monitoring and controlling of injection molding machine parameters such as user input parameters, embedded sensor data and injection molding status information.

휴대인터넷 시스템 셀 설계 방식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Cell Planning for High-Speed Portable Internet)

  • ADSL, VDSL과 같은 초고속 유선 인터넷 기술의 발달에 힘입어 유선 인터넷 사용자가 증가함에 따라 언제, 어디서나 시간과 장소에 구애 받지 않는 휴대인터넷 서비스에 대한 요구가 점점 증대하고 있다. 이런 휴대인터넷의 성공적인 도입을 위한 셀 설계기술이 필요하고, 이를 위한 셀 크기나 가입자의 수에 따른 성능 평가를 바탕으로 한 셀 설계가 이루어져야 한다. 기존의 CDMA를 이용한 방식에서는 전력제어를 바탕으로 링크 설정의 여부에만 관심이 있었으나 휴대인터넷에서는 스케쥴링 방식을 이용하여 시스템 성능이나 사용자 QoS를 더 고려해야 한다. 시스템 레벨 시뮬레이션을 이용한 성능 분석 결과, 시스템수율(throughput)은 셀 크기에 민감한 것으로 나타났고 사용자 수에 따른 변화는 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 서비스 시간 지연값의 변화는 사용자 수가 증가할수록 그 값의 변이가 크게 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었으나 셀 반경의 변화에는 별다른 영향이 없음이 확인되었다.

Analysis of Impact on ERP Customization Module Using CSR Data

  • The enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a standardized and advanced business process that many companies are implementing now-a-days through customization. However, it affects the efficiency of operations as these customizations are based on uniqueness. In this study, we analyzed the impact of customized modules and processing time on customer service request (CSR), by utilizing the stacked CSR data during the construction and operation of ERP, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As a result, a positive correlation was found between unit companies and the length of ERP implementation; ERP modules and the length of ERP implementation; ERP modules and unit companies; and the type of ERP implementation and ERP module. In terms of CSR, a comparison of CSR processing time of CBO (customized business object) module and STD (standard) module revealed that while the five modules did not display statistically significant differences, one module demonstrated a statistically very significant difference. In sum, the analysis indicates that the CBO-type CSR and its processing cost are higher than those of STD-type CSR. These results indicate that companies planning to implement an ERP system should consider the ERP module and their customization ratio and level. It not only gives the theoretical validity that should be considered as an indicator for decision making when ERP is constructed, but also its implications on the impact of processing time suggesting that the maintenance costs and project scheduling of ERP software must also be considered. This study is the first to present the degree of impact on the operation and maintenance of customized modules based on actual data and can provide a theoretical basis for applying SW change ratio in the cost estimation of ERP system maintenance.

가상물리제조 기반 항공기 부품공장 생산통제시스템 개발 (Development of Cyber-Physical Production System based Manufacturing Control System for Aircraft Parts Plant)

  • To enhance the effectiveness of the FMS (flexible manufacturing system), it is necessary for the manufacturing control system to be upgraded by integrating the cyber and the physical manufacturing systems. Using the CPPS (Cyber-Physical Production System) concept, this study proposes a 4-stage vertical integration and control framework for an aircraft parts manufacturing plant. In the proposed framework, the process controller prepares the operations schedule for processing work orders generated from the APS (advanced planning & scheduling) system. The scheduled operations and the related control commands are assigned to equipments by the dispatcher of the line controller. The line monitor is responsible for monitoring the overall status of the FMS including work orders and equipments. Finally the process monitor uses the simulation model to check the performance of the production plan using real time plant status data. The W-FMCS (Wing rib-Flexible Manufacturing Control & Simulation) are developed to implement the proposed 4-stage CPPS based FMS control architecture. The effectiveness of the proposed control architecture is examined by the real plant's operational data such as utilization and throughput. The performance improvement examined shows the usefulness of the framework in managing the smart factory's operation by providing a practical approach to integrate cyber and physical production systems.

반도체 기술 R&D 연구인력의 역량연구 -H사 기업부설연구소를 중심으로 (A Study of Competency for R&D Engineer on Semiconductor Company)

  • 본 연구는 반도체 제조업 회사인 H사의 기업부설연구소를 대상으로 구성원에게 필요한 역량을 규명하였다. 포커스 그룹 인터뷰와 직무분석 자료를 바탕으로 비전을 확인하고 구성원이 직무를 수행하는데 필요한 역량을 확인했다. 또한 규명된 역량에 대해 설문을 통해 구성원이 인식하고 있는 역량별 중요도인식과 역량수준을 확인함으로써 개인과 조직의 역량을 향상시키기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 인터뷰와 직무분석은 각자 그룹별, 내용별로 정리된 후 통합 분석되었고, 분석된 결과는 Spencer&Spencer의 역량사전과 선행연구에서 개발된 역량모델들과 비교분석을 거친 뒤 유목화되어 재분류하는 과정을 거쳤으며, 그 결과 16개의 역량이 도출되었고, 7개의 역량군으로 분류하였다. 이 연구는 이러한 결과를 근거로 H사 기업부설연구소가 필요한 역량을 규명하고 직무별로 요구되는 역량의 차이를 발견하였다. 또한 역량의 중요도 인식과 역량별 본인의 수준 인식 정도를 확인하여 연구인력에 대한 보다 적극적인 교육의 방식이나 다양한 종류의 교육을 제안했다.
