현대사회 공격성의 근원: 영화 '아메리칸 사이코'를 중심으로 (Origin of Aggression in Modern Society: Based on Film 'American Psycho')

  • One of the most striking features of modern society in the 21st century, is increased levels of aggression. Aggression refers to aggressive or hostile behavior, and is manifested in suicide or an attack against others. Aggression in modern society is more accidental, reckless, and aimless than before. As more patients visit hospitals due to the serious problem of aggression control, we need to address the nature of this growing aggression. The authors analyzed sources and the nature of aggression, based on the movie 'American Psycho.' The main character of the movie, Patrick, is similar to many people today, with traits such as egotistical thinking, lack of empathy, demand for attention and admiration, and exploited and superficial relationships. Patrick's aggression is in reaction to narcissistic injury. Through this, one can think of pathological narcissism, behind growing aggression in modern society. There are a number of social and environmental factors, attributable to increasing narcissism in modern society. Among them, change in parenting practices, and parent-child relationships, is likely to have affected increase in narcissism in terms of personality development. In conclusion, when treating patients exhibiting aggression in psychotherapy, it is critical to fully consider the possibility of pathological narcissism and its use in analysis.

1950년대 여성문화장(場)에서의 밀가루음식 소비담론 (Food Consumption Discussion in 1950's Women's Culture)

  • This study investigated women's magazines and women's food consumption stories of the 1950/s. That is, it attempted to comprehend the connection between the public and private aspects of food consumption as discussed in the 1950's. The public aspect of culture was investigated using the women's magazine "Yeo-won" which reflected the social and intellectual hegemony of the time. The private aspects of culture were investigated by reviewing the daily life of women though in-depth interviews. Mass media reflected the social and intellectual hegemony and indicated that a cultivated woman who supported western food was a wise mother and a good wife, and that a woman who consumed flour-based food was a reasonable and modern consumer, ahead of her time The admiration for the U.S. and its advanced civilization through free handouts of flour and powdered milk accelerated the consumption of industrialized flour-based foods such as noodles, hardtack, and steamed bread. This lead to the rigid traditional food-eating habits of boiled rice, and side dishes changed to flour-based and processed foods. That is, food represented a cultural identity.

eSports Fan Identity Consumer and Live Game Watching Behavior: Professional Player Fan Identity Perspective

  • This study investigated whether the Point of attachment (POA) theory can be used to measure the consumption intention on go and watch offline eSports games. The admiration for players, social interaction, and on-site consumption requirements for viewing offline eSports competitions are prioritized. In addition, eSports fans in various regions may have distinct consumption concepts and consumption patterns. Thus, this study surveyed China (n = 156) and South Korea (n = 127) eSports fans who subjectively perceive themselves to be fans of eSports player(s) and who have observed at least one offline eSports game. The results demonstrate that player attraction and socialization have positive and significant effects on offline consumption factors. There is no correlation between previous consumption behavior and satisfaction, but dining shows a significant positive effect on satisfaction. Moreover, there is a strong relationship between satisfaction and future attendance intention. In addition, effect of eSports fan attachment on future visit intentions are measured and there is no correlation between the two variables. The front end of the path in the new model's varied between Chinese and Korean supporters. Finally, theoretical and practical implications of this study are discussed.

  • 디지털 저작권 관리는 각종 디지털 콘텐츠를 불법복제로부터 보호하고, 적법한 사용자만이 콘텐츠를 사용하게 하며, 사용에 대한 과금을 통해 저작권자의 권리와 이익을 보호하는 시스템이며 콘텐츠의 자유로운 복제는 허용하되 불법 사용은 철저히 막는 것이 목적이며 이식성 품질 평가는 디지털 저작권 관리 S/W의 품질 향상을 유도할 수 있는 기술로서 국제 표준을 수용하는 전략기술 개발을 통해 객관성과 활용도를 높일 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 저작권 관리 S/W의 이식성 품질을 평가하기 위해 시험 메트릭을 제안하였다. 또한, 품질을 측정하고 그 결과를 적절한 기준에 따라 판정하는 방법에 대해 연구를 수행하고 평가 사례를 제시하여 평가 방법을 명확히 제시하였다.

아시안 룩의 탈중심화 현상과 그 기법에 대한 연구 (An Investigation of the Phenomenon of the Decentralization of the Asian Look and its Method)

  • Decentralization is an effort to liberalize people from its character of neutralizing or restraining people while indwelling in the previous thought system. Decentralization in fashion is one of the phenomenon of post-modernism fashion, and it is closely related to de-culturalism, crossover, abolition of rank, and etc, and it is in line with Asian look which includes orientalism fashion. The study intends to consider the Phenomenon of Decentralization of Asian Look and its Method depicted in the western fashion. The study focuses on documentary data, and the it is held with the basis of Asian look shown in western fashion. If ideology which influenced the formation of folk costume of Asia, Asian look is the dissolution of such ideology, and post-modern amusement is substituting it. The most conspicuous characteristic of decentralization phenomena of Asian look is pastiche which is a combination and reallocation of external style of many cultural zones and many folk costumes, and it shows mutual irrelevance, and it is a neutral imitation which has internal meaning and humor disappeared. Also, Asian look shows characteristics of parody and irony, which are reversal characteristics of aesthetic value which is expressed through methods of addition, modification, distortion, exaggeration, inversion, dissolution, and etc. Parody which is expressed through imitation regarding previous style shows effect of humor or satire, but its characteristics show that it expresses respect or admiration regarding the original The method of irony is showing sarcasm with ironical method regarding the peculiar style of Asian folk costume, and it pursues unexpected shock and joy, and it is closely related to orientalism fashion. Expansion and constancy of Asian look reflects the interest regarding folk of Asia and Asia, and it is a movement which intends new attempt by abolishing stereotype, and furthermore, it is expressing liberty of humans.

지암바티스타 비코의 언어관과 역사관 (Giambattista Vico: His View on Language and History)

  • Is there a pattern in history? How and why does social change occur? Are we to distinguish between the methods to be employed in the study of man and the study of nature? How does linguistic, or 'philological', knowledge contribute to unearthing historical facts? These are the queries that Vico grappled with throughout his life. Vico, however, was an outsider to the intellectual atmosphere of his own day, dismissed as obscure, speculative, and unsound. Only after his death did he begin to inspire enthusiasm among diverse readers, and as long as we remain concerned with the queries mentioned above, Vico's reflections will come alive with contemporary relevance. Actually he has been regarded as the founder--unrecognized by his contemporaries--of the philosophy of history and as a thinker whose ideas anticipated such later intellectual movements as historicism, pragmatism, existentialism, and structuralism. There are many among modern minds who find Vico fascinating for his view of myth as concrete thought and of an age of myth as a necessary age in the intellectual evolution of the human race. James Joyce, for one, was deeply impressed by Vico's view on myth, on metaphor, on Homer, on language, on psychology, and much else besides. 'My imagination grows when I read Vico,' he once confessed, 'as it doesn't when I read Freud or Jung.' Some philosophers, critics, psychologists, social scientists and even geographers would describe themselves as 'Vichians', sharing the view that Vico was a poet and a lawyer, a platonist and a baconian rolled into one. His refusal to be confined within any one discipline, his imaginative effort to understand different cultures, and his insight in dealing with some fundamental problems in the study of humanity all compel admiration and deserve to be emulated in our age--an age when the split between the literary and the scientific approaches to the understanding of society is widening into a chasm. Vico has left some of his most important ideas underdeveloped or even undeveloped, to be excavated and polished by us afier our own fashion. It is surprising that Vico is still a man of obscure name in the academia of our country, Korea.

남성의 몸과 패션에 표현된 미적 이미지(I) -남성 패션에 표현된 에로티시즘을 중심으로- (Aesthetic Images in Men s Bodies and Fashion(I) - Focused on Eroticism in Men s Fashion-)

  • The purpose of this study is to review the features of eroticism expressed in men's fashion, to explain psychological and social contexts which engender eroticism and to analyze in what way eroticism is portrayed in men s fashion in this context. Eroticism as the metonymy of forbidden sexual desire, has been embodied mostly in visual forms such as picture and photo. From a psychoanalytic view, the context in which eroticism is formed can be explained by primary narcissism and fetishism. Primary narcissism is the feeling of satisfaction with the self in which the subject who is admiring and the object of admiration are one and the same. Accordingly, in order to give rise to eroticism, both subject and object have to exist. Fetishism, the metonymy of castrated penis, is also one of the factors to produce eroticism. Metaphorically seen as a woman who has a penis, a man who dresses in the same manner as a woman dresses can be a source of eroticism to gays. From a sociological view, the context in which eroticism is fostered depends on the dynamic relations among social powers. In these relations, who is a subject or who is an object has been continuously changing. In the Post-modern culture appearing in the late 20th century, power begins to take various forms, and gays and women who had never been subjects begin to make man an object of eroticism. The other point is that social morality, ignoring desire itself, objectifies sexual desire and seeks to remove It by exchanging it for objectified symbols. The design elements provoking eroticism in men s fashion are exposure and decoration. In particular, models in exposure and decorative fashion have been objectified through the methods of fragmentation rather than showing the whole figure or removing a person s individuality or will,.

  • Recently, because the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution era, many information and telecommunication services have grown rapidly in the mobile business market. So, companies are based Mobile Apps on user customized services and expanding their services. From the standpoint of the business, to generate revenue, the company needs to maintain the existing current computer environment and develop Mobile Apps to offer convenience in various areas such as finance, admiration, e-commerce and sales support. However, as the number of users increase due to expansion of various Mobile services, security threats that are related to Mobile Apps are increasing and its damage is also increasing. Due to the rapid technological transformation of Mobile devices using the Internet, the level of security threats to Smartphones are rising and getting more advance, so this thesis is structured as follows. In Chapter 2, it will look at the overall trends of Mobile Apps as related research. In Chapter 3, it will discuss various security concerns that related to the latest Mobile Apps and learn about the threatening factors. In Chapter 4, it will compare and analyze the threatening factors. Then it will find and suggest the possible plan. In Chapter 5, it will end with conclusion. Finally, to protect mobile devices from security threats, the environment of operating system which manages the resources and data of Apps needs to be protected. Also, it is important that users to have awareness and check activation FinTech technology security in the process of simple payment with fingerprint or IC card.

중국 산해경에 나타난 조류를 모티브한 주얼리 디자인 개발 연구 (A study on the jewelry design inspired by birds in Chinese Sanhaeyeong)

  • 조류를 모티브로 디자인한 작품은 예나 지금이나 꾸준히 인기를 끌고 있다. 특히 신화에 나오는 조류를 모티브로 디자인 작품들이 큰 사랑을 받고 있다. 그래서 본 연구는 중국 신화의 대표작인 산해경 중에서 조류를 모티브로 한 주얼리 디자인을 연구하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 산해경에서 등장한 조류의 특징을 분석하였으며, 그 조류들을 모티브로 한 디자인 사례를 조사하였다. 산해경에 등장하는 조류는 크게 신조(divine birds)와 괴조(monstrous birds)로 구분되며, 신조는 주로 다양한 색상의 조합 및 통일된 색조로, 괴조는 주로 대비가 강한 적색, 녹색 및 흰색으로 표현하고 있다. 산해경 속의 조류를 모티브로 한 장신구의 형태, 색상 및 상징성을 분석했다. 이러한 작품들은 주로 다양한 색상(multicolored color), 녹색 및 적색을 사용했다. 시대 배경 및 디자인 형태의 관련성을 통해 산해경의 기원과 관련된 시대에서 형태와 패턴을 적용하여 디자인했다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 신화적인 조류 디자인에 관심을 가지는 디자이너들에게 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

해방전후 함대훈 소설에 나타난 '러시아' 표상 연구 (Russia Represented the Novel of Dae Hun Ham before and after the Liberation)

  • 식민지 시기 함대훈은 러시아 문학을 자신의 소설 창작에 반복적으로 활용했다. 그 중에서 투르게네프의 소설 "그 전날 밤"은 함대훈의 첫 장편소설 "폭풍전야"에도, 1943년 발표된 "북풍의 정열"에도 반복적으로 차용되고 있다. 함대훈 문학에 차용된 러시아 문학은 지금 이곳과는 다른 문화, 다른 질서에 대한 인물들의 동경을 이끌어냈으며, 인물들의 동경은 1930년대 중반 발표된 "폭풍전야"에서는 민족운동에 뛰어든 신청년(新靑年)의 형상으로 구체화되어 당대 식민지 조선의 상황과 긴장 관계를 만들어냈다. 반면 1943년 발표된 "북풍의 정열"은 "폭풍전야"와 마찬가지로 투르게네프의 "그 전날 밤"을 차용하고 있지만, 이 소설에는 "폭풍전야"와는 변별되는 지정학적 상상력이 구현되어 있다. "북풍의 정열"에서는 '만주'를 둘러싼 당대의 정치적 역사적 맥락은 소거된 반면, '만주'와 과거 지식인 청년들의 열정을 이끌어냈던 '러시아'를 연결시키고 있다. '러시아'에 대한 열정이 만주에 대한 동경으로 대체되는 과정은 함대훈 문학에 나타난 '북국(北國)' 표상의 변화와도 밀접하게 연관된다. 1930년대 후반 함대훈의 소설에서는 '러시아'가 '북국'으로도 표상되고 있었다. 그러나 함대훈 문학에서 '북국'은 점차 '러시아'가 아니라 '만주'를 지칭하는 공간 표상으로 사용되기 시작한다. 북국' 표상을 통해 러시아와 만주를 연결시키는 방식은 '만주'가 시베리아 지방과 멀지 않은 지역임을 부각시키는 언술에서도 암시되어 있듯이 시베리아 지역으로까지 대동아공영권을 확대하고 싶은 제국 일본의 욕망과 긴밀하게 연동되어 있었다. 함대훈은 '북국' 표상을 통해 러시아에 대한 낭만적 동경을, 제국 일본의 지정학적 논리를 정당화하는 담론으로 바꾸어 놓고 있는 것이다. 식민지 시기 함대훈에게 '러시아'는 동경을 불러일으키는 공간이었지만, 그 동경은 '만주'에 대한 함대훈의 인식에서 드러나듯 언제든 세속적 욕망으로 변화될 수 있는 것이었다. 이는 해방 직후 발표된 함대훈 장편소설 "청춘보"에서도 확인된다. 해방 직후는 소련이 냉전질서의 한 축으로 부각되고 러시아어가 한국인의 일상적 담화공간에까지 영향력을 행사했던 시기였다. 함대훈은 "청춘보"를 통해 러시아 문학을 전공했고 소련의 문화를 동경하던 연구자를 주인공으로 등장시킨 후, 그의 시선으로 해방 전후의 북조선 사회를 재현하고 있다. 그 과정에서 이 작품은 러시아의 문화 및 '소련'과 관련된 다층적 표상을 보여주고 있다. 그러한 재현의 양상을 만들어낸 것은 주인공이 지니고 있는 심퍼사이저(sympathizer) 의식, 즉 '동반자 의식'이다. 이러한 주인공의 동반자 의식은 식민지 후반의 조선에서 금지의 대상이었던 '소비에트' 문화의 이국성을 그가 동경하고 있었던 것에 기인한다. 그러나 러시아어가 일상에서 사용될 수 있는 언어이자 영어와 교환될 수 있는 위상을 확보하게 된 해방 직후 '러시아' 및 '소비에트'를 재현하던 주인공의 시선은 변모하게 된다. '붉은 군대'라는 상징 아래 '러시아'와 '소비에트'를 통합적으로 인식하던 시선은 점차 변모하였고, 월남(越南) 이후에는 '러시아'를 '공산주의'라는 도깨비에 의해 점령된 소굴로 간주하기에 이른다. 그 과정에서 '러시아'와 '소비에트'는 분리되어 이해되기 시작했다. 식민지 시기 가장 핵심적인 러시아 문학 연구자이자 번역자로 규정된 함대훈의 해방 이후 행보, 그리고 해방 직후 그가 발표한 소설 "청춘보"의 러시아어 번역/통역가 곽성식의 면모는 해방직후 한국의 러시아 문학 연구가 걸어야 할 침체의 길들을 서사의 형태로 예견하고 있다. 금지된 것에 대한 열망 및 러시아의 이국적 문화에 대한 동경에 의해 수행되던 낭만적 번역, 해방 전후 함대훈 소설의 러시아 표상은 그러한 낭만적 번역의 시대가 종언을 고했음을 보여주고 있는 것이다.
