대량살상무기의 확산을 근본적으로 차단하기 위한 경제 제재의 활용은 1990년대에 들어서 새로운 차원으로 전개됨. 이전시기까지 제정된 법규들은 특정한 핵확산 활동에 관여한 국가들에 대한 외국원조의 중단을 요구하였으며, 해당 국가들이 관련 조약 및 국제협약상의 목표를 준수하게끔 하나의 가능한 메커니즘으로서 제재 방안들을 규정함. 1990년에 들어서서 미 의회는 미사일 확산에 관련되어 무역제재를 위한 명확한 지침을 입법화함. 1990년에 들어서 무기수출통제법(Arms Export Control Act)과 1979년 수출관리법 (Export Adminstration Act of 1979)에 미사일기술통제레짐의 부속서(MTCR Annex)에 등재된 품목이나 기술을 거래하는데 관여한 미국 시민 또는 외국인에 대해 미 대통령이 규제를 부과한다는 점이 필수사항으로 첨가됨. 이어서 미 의회는 광범위한 형태의 법률을 통해 생ㆍ화학무기 및 핵무기의 확산에 기여하는 국가들에 대해 경제제재를 가할 것을 입법화함. 본 보고서에서는 미국내 비확산 규정을 위반한 국가, 기업 또는 개인들에 대해 일종의 경제제재를 부과하는 것을 요구하거나 승인하는 법규들을 간략히 서술하고 있음. 다음에 열거하는 각각의 규정에는 제재 부과의 이유, 제재 기간에 관련된 정보를 포함하여, 미 대통령이 제재 부과를 연기, 중단 및 포기할 수 있는 권한의 구체적 내용들을 서술함.

현재 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학교(이하 ‘학교기관’ )에서 쓰이고 있는 기존의 수작업 방식의 회계관리와 DOS 방식의 행정전산관리 프로그램의 한계점을 벗어나 새로운 GUI 윈도우 체계의 프로그램의 개발 필요성이 대두되어 본 시스템을 개발하게 되었다. 또한 학교기관에 납입해야 할 모든 납부금, 급식비, 장부관리에서부터 수입, 지출 등 학교에서 쓰이는 회계부분의 수작업을 모듈화 및 집약화하고 누구나 쉽게 운영할 수 있는 행정관리 시스템, 일괄처리로 구성하도록 하였으며, DB를 이중모드(사용자 모드와 관리자모드)로 분리, 보안문제를 보충하고, 문서의 표준화로 정보교류의 용이하다. 전국 학교기관의 회계운영방식을 표준화하여 구축 설계하고, 초보자 입장을 지향한 순차적 처리방식과 회계관리의 중복처리를 집약화 하여 구축하였다.

정보통신분야의 발전으로 인해 익명성의 사이버 사회가 도달하였고 해킹과 같은 역기능이 많이 발생함에 따라 정보보호를 위해 암호모듈에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있다. 하지만 국내에서는 암호모듈에 대한 평가 기준 정립이 미흡하여 수요자가 모듈 선택 시 어려움이 있고, 모듈 및 제품 상호간의 운용 및 호환성 확보에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문은 정보보호 제품에 대한 안전성을 평가해 제품의 신뢰성을 높이고, 기술의 향상을 유도하는 국외의 정보보호 제품에 대한 평가 프로그램인 CMVP의 현황을 살펴본다. 이를 통해 다가오는 국제 표준에 대비하여, 국내 정보보호 제품 보호와 기술보호를 위해 선진외국의 제도, 기술, 현황분석 및 국제 암호제도 공조체계 구축을 위한 기반을 제공코자 한다.

Stock market prediction is regarded as a challenging task of financial time-series prediction. There have been many studies using artificial neural networks in this area. Recently, support vector machines (SVMs) are regarded as promising methods for the prediction of financial time-series because they me a risk function consisting the empirical ewer and a regularized term which is derived from the structural risk minimization principle. In this study, I apply SVM to predicting the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI). In addition, this study examines the feasibility of applying SVM in financial forecasting by comparing it with back-propagation neural networks and case-based reasoning. The experimental results show that SVM provides a promising alternative to stock market prediction.

The potato scab is caused by several species of Streptomyces. Among these species, only pathogenic strains were found to produce thaxtomin A characterized by necrotic bioassay and HPLC. In this study, identification of the pathogenic strains of Streptomyces was performed through the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) by using specific pathogenicity primer sets derived from the nec1 gene sequences of Streptomyces scabies. The expected PCR products were obtained approximately 580 bp and confirmed by sequencing. This PCR technique can be used effectively to identify the pathogenic Streptomyces species, that cause scab on potato tubers.

Toxic effects of chronic adminstration of methamphetamine (MA) to SD rats were studied in respect to histopathological changes induced in each organ. In experimental groups liver weight decreased and brain weights increased markedly compared with controls in the 12th month after subcutaneous injection of 0.5 mg and 5mg/kg/BW MA. Serum alkaline phosphotase levels increased, but marked decrease of cholesterol, triglyceride, and BUN levels were checked depending on both the dose of MA and duration of treatment.

This study focuses on red snow crabs for fisheries cooperation in South Korea, North Korea, and Japan. South Korea, North Korea, and Japan have had experience in promoting red snow crab fisheries cooperation. However, this cooperation is now discontinued. South Korea, North Korea, and Japan are required to play a role in mediating South Korea in order to promote red snow crabs fisheries cooperation. South Korea has the capacity to carry out economic intervention in North Korea and Japan. This is even more so in the red snow crabs. On the other, South Korea, North Korea and Japan's red snow crabs fisheries cooperation can develop into Northeast Asian fisheries cooperation including Russia and China. This can be done through the major fisheries of the East Sea, the squid and the alaska pollocks. The role of the Korean peninsula is important in Northeast Asian fisheries cooperation.

This preliminary study examines historical background of construction, establishment process, and destroy process for the Goryeo-sa-haeng-guan in Myeong-Ju during the Song Dynasty. The research was conducted based on local journals at that time. The Myeong-Ju is one of the famous port cities for marine trade. The Myeong-Ju had a good relationship with the Goryeo. Especially, the Song Dynasty built the Goryo-sa-haeng-guan for Goryeo envoys and traders to maintained a good partnership with Goryeo. A comprehensive review on records and historical issues of the Goryeo-sa-haeng-guan helps us to understand foreign policy and inter-relationship between Korean and China.
