This paper examines the incorporation of the crushed sand (CS) and desert sand (DS) in the formation of self compacting concrete (SCC). These sands have been substituted for the rolled sand (RS), which is currently the only sand used in concretes and which is likely to run out in our country. DS, which comes from the Tunisian Sahara in the south, is characterized by a tight distribution of grains size. CS, a by-product of careers containing a significant amount of fines up to 15%, is characterized by a spread out granulometry having a maximum diameter of around 5mm. These two sands are considered as aggregates for the SCC. This first part of the study consists in analyzing the influence of the type of sand on the parameters of composition of the SCC. These sands consist of several combinations of 3 sands (DS, CS and RS). The method of formulation of the adopted SCC is based on the filling of the granular void by the paste. The CS substitution to the RS made it possible, for all the proportions, to decrease the granular voids, to increase the compactness of the mixture and to decrease the water and adding fillers proportioning. These results were also obtained for a moderate substitution of DS/CS (< 40%) and a weak ratio of DS/RS (20%). For higher proportions, the addition of DS to CS or RS did not improve the physical characteristics of the SCC granular mixture.
This study is conducted to investigate the effect of phase change materials (PCM) on hydration heat and strength characteristics of cement mortar. Two types of Barium and Strontium-based PCMs were used in this study and the addition ratio of each PCM to the cement mortar ranged from 1% to 5% by cement weight. Flow test, semi-adiabatic temperature rise test, compressive strength and flexural strength test were carried out to examine the PCM effect on heat and mechanical properties of cement mortar. Test results indicated that PCMs used in this study were effective to control hydration heat of cement mortar, and Barium-based PCM slightly reduce flow value. The compressive and flexural strength of cement mortar with PCM decreased with increasing the adding mount of PCM. The prediction model for compressive strength of cement mortar with different addition levels of PCMs are suggested in this study.
Synthesis of spinel pigment on ZnO-Fe2O3 system. The object of this research is the synthesis of new spinel pigments on the basic of ZnO-Fe2O3 system which was substituted by ZnO-Fe2O3 by MgO-Al2O3. This research was progressed by measuring the X-ray diffraction and the reflectances of the substitued ZnO-Fe2O3 group. Which was obtained by sintering at the temperature of 1,00$0^{\circ}C$, 1,10$0^{\circ}C$, 1,20$0^{\circ}C$ and 1,25$0^{\circ}C$ and them by regrinding. In order to coloring test, here basic compositions of Barium glaze, Zinc glaze, Lime glaze, Lead glaze and Talc glaze used in this experiment are obtained from the ceramic work. Adding synthetic stains in these basic glazes with 3%, mixing and glazing on the specimen. The specimens was fired at 1,28$0^{\circ}C$ in reducing and oxidizing atmosphere in the gas kiln. The results of the research as follow. 1. Many kinds of spinel pigment was produced on ZnO-Fe2O3 system that is to say, not always only spinel. 2. Spinel peak was observed strongly on the ZnO-Fe2O3 system withsubstituting by MgO-Fe2O3 and MgO-Al2O3 group(the ratio of MgO, Al2O3 being increased, observed more strongly). 3. The most effective temperature ranges was 1,20$0^{\circ}C$~1,25$0^{\circ}C$. 4. The color of spinel pigments on this system was observed by "stable YR". 5. It was yellow red in oxidizing and green in reducing atmosphere on the coloring test.ring test.

The purpose of this study was to make soy milk without using any food additives. First, it was attempted to find the effects of homogenizing pressure on the emulsion stability of soy milk without addition of monoglyceride. The soy milk was made with the ratio of bean and water as 1:8, and the yields of soy milk was measured to be 5.87 fold of the beans used. lifter making soy milk by differentiated pressure of the homogenizer at $50kg/cm^2,\;100kg/cm^2,\;150kg/cm^2\;and\;200kg/cm^2$, general composition of the center part of soy milk was analysed. The analysis results indicated that the lipid content increased by the increase of the emulsion pressure. Moreover, the suspension stability, emulsion stability and viscosity also increased by the increase of the emulsion pressure. Therefore, we thought that the production of soy milk without adding any emulsifier was possible only by homogenizing at higher pressure over $150kg/cm^2$.

Homographs can have multiple senses. In order to understand the meaning of a sentence, it is necessary to identify which sense isused for each word in the sentence. Previous researches on this problem heavily relied on the word co-occurrence information. However, we noticed that in case of verbs, information about subordinating cases of verbs can be utilized to further improve the performance of word sense disambiguation. Different senses require different sets of subordinating cases. In this paper, we propose the verb sense disambiguation using subordinating case information. The case information acquire postposition features in Standard Korean Dictionary. Our experiment on 12 high-frequency verb homographs shows that adding case information can improve the performance of word sense disambiguation by 1.34%, from 97.3% to 98.7%. The amount of improvement may seem marginal, we think it is meaningful because the error ratio reduced to less than a half, from 2.7% to 1.3%.
A novel hydrophilic poly (vinylidene fluoride)/poly (p-phenylene terephthalamide) (PVDF/PPTA) blend membrane was prepared by in situ polycondensation of p-phenylene diamine (PPD) and terephthaloyl chloride (TPC) in PVDF solution with subsequent nonsolvent induced phase separation (NIPS) process. For comparison, conventional solution blend membrane was prepared directly by adding PVDF powder into PPTA polycondensation solution. Blend membranes were characterized by means of viscometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM). The effects of different blending methods on membrane performance including water contact angle (WCA), mechanical strength, anti-fouling and anti-compression properties were investigated and compared. Stronger interactions between PVDF and PPTA in in situ blend membranes were verified by viscosity and XPS analysis. The incorporation of PPTA accelerated the demixing rate and caused the formation of a more porous structure in blend membranes. In situ blend membranes exhibited better hydrophilicity and higher tensile strength. The optimal values of WCA and tensile strength were $65^{\circ}$ and 34.1 MPa, which were reduced by 26.1% and increased by 26.3% compared with pure PVDF membrane. Additionally, antifouling properties of in situ blend membranes were greatly improved than pure PVDF membrane with an increasing of flux recovery ratio by 25%. Excellent anti-compression properties were obtained in in situ blend membranes with a stable pore morphology. The correlations among membrane formation mechanism, structure and performance were also discussed.

In this paper, we propose a methodology to estimate the number of users in e-Commerce systems. There have been a lot of previous work under the closed-LAN system environment. But the study on the number of acceptable users in real network environment is hard to find in the literature. Our research applies a Hybrid Simulation by using QoS results for end-to-end high-speed Internet service, and experiments are performed with regard to LAN and WAN, network equipments, and various network bandwidth. As result of the experiments we observed that the response time of high-speed Internet service media(Wireless LAN, ADSL, Cable, VDSL) depends heavily on the sequence and depth of transactions and on the ratio of transactional and non-transactional interactions. That is, as the network and application get more loads, the number of acceptable users decreases. By adding a cache server and an L4 switch to the simulation model, we analysed the changes in the number of users and client response time.
Barium titanyl oxalate was synthesized by adding ethanol solution of oxalic acid to the mixed aqueous solution which contained barium or lanthanum radiotracers in addition to Ba(NO$_3)_2$ and TiO(NO$_3)_2$. The oxalate was finally converted to BaTiO$_3$ by calcination at 1000$^{\circ}$C in air. The chemical formula of the oxalate was confirmed to be BaTiO(CTEX>$_2O_4)_2{\cdot}4H_2O$ by the thermal analysis of the barium titanyl oxalate. When the mixture's molar ratio(Ba/Ti) was within a range of 0.950-1.05, the formation of stoichiometric Barium titanate was confirmed with the help of barium tracers. The homogeneity of lanthanum deposite in the final product was also confirmed through the behavior of lanthanum tracers. The results as well as those obtained by XRD and SEM have been explained on the basis of the fact that the reaction occurs on the molecular level in solution and the barium titanate is formed in crystals of single phase.
The characteristics of enzymic sources and its effective uses concerned with brewing of Yack-Tack Joo which is traditional and popular liquors for all Korean have been studied. Results obtained are as follows; 1)Kock Ja (enrich of fungi and yeast produced in Korean brewery) is found to be weak in its liquifying(600U.) and saccharifying activity(1300U.), so that it is useful to conbine two factors effectively for better brewing. 2) The additional ratio of Kok Ja per materials is seems proper at line of 20 percent for better fermentation and the enzymic preparations inoculated of microorganisms in wheat bran is seems proper at 25 percent line. 3) Adding the enzymic preperation in which the strain Rhyzopus had been inoculated to the experimental mash at 5 percent per material, the rate of fermentation was revealed highest degree than those of else. 4) It is not proper to add a single Bun Kok in fermentation, as it produce much acid in mash during brewing. 5) However, the enzymic preparation composed of Asp usami and Rhyzopus sp. produced less acid in brewing. 6) The increasing of temparature in enzymic samples, temparatures of the mixtured Kuk(Kok Ja and enzymic preparation) are higher than those of single addition at the first stage in pre-fermentation, but there are no differences at the late stage of post-fermentation. 7) Amount of amino acids in the plot of enzymic prepation are found much more than those of single use at late stage of post-fermentation. In the plot of single use of Kock Ja, the amount was the most than else, the proteinase activity is strongest more than else. 8) In the brewing of Korean Tack-Yack-Joo, it is desirable less amount of acidity, more amount of amino acid, stronger liquifaction of starch and vigorous saccharification. Thren it was found that the application of two prepations(Kock Ja and Bun kok) is most effective to get moderate quality in Tack-Yack-Joo brewing.

The aggregate, which does not satisfy the standard of KS F 2573, was selected for this investigation. The 28day compressive strength of recycled aggregate concrete without pozzolan material was 21.7MPa, which was less than the strength of concrete made with crushed stone. However, the compressive strength at 28 days was improved by mixing early rapid hardening cement to the cement at the weight ratio of 2.5%. Furthermore, the compressive strength at 91 days and 180 days increased significantly by adding fly ash, slag powder, and diatom powder. The tensile strength of recycled aggregate concrete with pozzolan material also increased about 40% compared to the general concrete. Futhermore, the shrinkage and creep of recycled aggregate concrete with fly ash and slag powder was a little decreased that of recycled aggregate concrete with fly ash and diatom powder. Relationship between compressive strength and creep coefficient was shown to the linear relation like as ${\sigma}_c=-30CF+404$.
