단일 호스트 환경에 특화되어 설계되어온 기존 침입탐지 시스템(Intrusion Detection System: IDS)은 침입 시 도메인의 보호만을 그 목적으로 하는 수동적인 성격으로써, 새로운 공격 기법에 대한 탐지 및 대응, 그리고 보다 그 규모가 큰 네트워크로의 확장 면에서 구조적인 결함을 가지고 있다. 이러한 IDS의 구조적 문제점의 해결방안으로 액티브 네트워크 기반의 IDS 에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 액티브 네트워크(Active network)란 패킷 스위칭 네트워크 상에 프로그램 가능한 라우터 등인 액티브 노드들을 배치하고, 사용자의 요구에 상응하는 적절한 연산을 위한 데이터와 프로그램으로 구성된 스마트 패킷(smart packet)에 대하여 수행 가능하게 하는 접근 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 이를 기반으로 자율적이며 지능적인 에이전트로 구성된 멀티 에이전트 기술을 액티브 노드에 적용함으로써 기존 IDS 보안메커니즘에서 보다 러 진보된 능동적이고 적극적인 대응을 위한 보안 메커니즘을 제공하여 네트워크 공격에 의한 피해 최소화와 신속한 대응이 가능한 멀티 에이전트 기반 공격 대응 메커니즘을 제시하고, 이를 적용 가능한 액티브 네트워크 기반 프레임 설계를 제안한다.

One of the Principal problems encountered in the use of filer reinforced composites is to establish an active fiber surface to achieve maximum adhesion between resin and fiber surface. Now, we want to develope new process that will overcome the disadvantage of the chemical coupling agent and achieve maximum adhesion at the interface between resin and fiber by active plasma treatment on the glass fiber surface. In this study. we investigated the effect of plasma treatment on the wettability of glans surface .

In this study, we screened twenty four extracts of eight medicinal plants and three extracts of the commercial product for their antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Ethanol and ethyl acetate extracts were found active where as aqueous extracts were little or no active. Extracts of Sophora flavescens, Salvia miltlorrhiza and Glycyrrhiza uralensis showed strong activity againsttested organisms and could be the potential antimicrobial agent. The increase of antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of formulations might be due to synergic effect. The results also indicated that the activity of bamboo salt and herbal products can be enhanced by making appropriate formulations.

The cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs), a group of serine/threonine kinases that form active heterodimeric complexes binding to cyclins, are key regulators of the cell cycle. The role of cyclin dependent kinases(CDKs) in cell cycle regulation has stimulated an interest in them as potential targets for proliferative diseases such as cancer, psoriasis, and chemotherapeutic agent-induced alopecia. Indirubin, an active ingredient of a traditional Chinese recipe Danggui Longhui Wan, are potent CDK inhibitors competing with ATP for binding to the catalytic site of the CDKs. (omitted)

The aim of this article is to argue that BanLyeo music (companion music) is much better than medicine. A companion who shares thoughts or actions, or a metaphorical description of an object that is always close or carried. Isn't the music that we share in our daily lives a BanLyeo music (companion music)? Music stays with us forever as long as we choose. Therefore, it is music that can go with us until the end, so I think we should call it BanLyeo music (companion music). Music can be with us whenever and wherever we want, soothing sadness and pain and cheering us up. Here is a person who is living a second life happily because of BanLyeo music. Beyond the passive listening to music, direct and active music performance is a great power to save one person. As a more effective healing agent than medicine, BanLyeo music is a great power to stay together for the rest of your life and cheer you up. So, I think music is much better than medicine.

The main purpose of the aeration units in activated sludge process is to enable micro-organisms to metabolize the constituents of the waste effectively by supplying sufficient oxygen for their respiration. Normally, aeration is achieved by bringing the mixture of waste and sludge into intimate contact with air. The main type of aeration unit is diffused air unit in which air is injected into the liquid in the form of bubbles. The object of these laboratory studies is to compare the performance of three laboratory scale aeration systems at various depths of submergence, aerating water with and without the addition of a surface active agent.

SB31, an extract of Pulsatilla koreana, has been tried as an antitumor agent by traditional medicine pratitioner in Korea for the past 30 years, SB31 was evaluated for cytotoxic and antitumor activity against a variety of cancer cell lines. The SB31 exhibited 5-6 fold less cytotoxic activity against normal mononuclear cells (ED$\sub$50/. 1.1 mg/$m\ell$) than against cancer cell lines (ED$\sub$50/ 0.14-0.19mg/$m\ell$). (omitted)

Diazepam (DZ) is one of the most frequently prescribed drugs as an antianxiety agent. muscle relaxant. and anticovulsant and sometimes causes intoxication due to accidental overdose, misuse or abuse. DZ is metabolized to nordiazepam (NDZ, desmethyldiazepam), oxazepam (OX) and temazepam (TM) which are also pharmacologically active, although OX and TM do not accumulate in blood or plasma to an appreciable extent. For screening of the antiviral agent from soil, about 520 strains of microorganisms were evaluated for their antiviral activity, About 6.9% of strains showed more than 95% antiviral activity against Herpes Simples Virus (HSV)-1. Two strains among 30 strains active against HSV-1 virus showed a quite strong activity against human immunodeficiency virus.

Abdominal compartment syndrome is one cause of deep vein thrombosis of lower extremity. Although prophylactic dose of anticoagulation agent is safely started after 24~48 hours without the evidence of active bleeding, there may be bleeding complication related to invasive procedure which trauma victims undergo. Inferior vena cava filter should be considered in the treatment plan of this complex situation.
