As the importance of Culture Technology (music, publication, mobile, film, video, cartoon, animation, character, game, broadcasting etc) is increased, the field of character industry recently has been recognized as an independent brand value beyond the existing view point of simple designing; it also has been given much attention as a main axis leading the cultural industry of the 21 st century. The character of a local government plays roles such as a symbolic part of a region, parts of tourism and public relations, and a profit-making function, which results into generation of regional image and activation of regional economy. However, the present application strategy of the character is only limited to an early stage of regional advertisements. In this context, this study is aimed to investigate and analyze the character development of local governments, especially 31 cities and goons of Gyeonggi Province, comparing with those of local governments of Japan. In the long run, this will provide some suggestions for strategy of character applications. Then, this research is expected to be used as basic reference materials for character development of other local governments and government agencies.

Kwang-shi Han-woo agriculture-farm village theme park plan is thought that active participation of thorough environmental protection and local resident is necessary condition as plan that take advantage of peculiar latency resource of area. In plan process, reflected various opinion of local resident representatives to space but there is a little insufficient page, and sees that also thorough environment analysis should be preceded. Hereafter, see that correction' repletion need a little through thorough grasping of latency resource that put together thorough natural environment investigation. in Yesan County with analysis at final design step. RnD Service firms are the innovative company that supports innovation, determines the healthy ecosystem in the high tech business sector. RnD service also brings up a regional innovation through the business ecosystem. This study conducted a case study RnD Service firms leading to the activation of high tech industry. We analyze the role of the RnD Service firms through reports and interviews with corporate managers. We understand the growth process was RnD Service firms, and identify the cost of organizing. RnD Service firms are independent economy, but was also a problem that appears is dependent on universities and research institutions sometimes. When the subject of a regional innovation take place the RnD Service sector, It should be noted that the emergence of innovative business. RnD Service model should not be developed by universities and public institutions, it should be a technology development model that occur between companies.

Purpose - This study aims to determine the problems and limitations of the Commercial Area Activation System, which was created by a special law for promoting traditional markets and shopping districts to revitalize and efficiently manage the central commercial area in different regions. We also suggest different options for its improvement. Research design, data, and methodology - We also look into the problems of which is being promoted as a demonstration project, from the aspects of legal text and guidelines. Results - The current commercial area activation system has several problems. First, the establishment of a comprehensive basic plan on the commercial area activation is not a requirement. Second, the benefit principle should be established to prevent the moral laxity of merchants who serve important roles in the main components of the commercial area activation business when they conduct their business. Third, the current special law constrains the commercial management organization, as under the civil law yields a limitation on finding a profitable business model. Fourth, to efficiently, constructing a system that links the other central government businesses and is needed. into a regional development budget or a budget for funding small businesses that the central government can control, which is effective. Further, we offer some suggestions for medium- and long-term policies. First, an integrated coordination mechanism at the central office level should be installed while setting the basic policy to revitalize the Based on this policy, local governments need a system that exclusively based on the after establishing a comprehensive plan for urban regeneration and getting approval from the integration organization. Second, a system that enables an understanding of the problems with business promotion by monitoring the procedure of supporting projects and regularly assessing business achievements is needed. Third, a plan is needed for resolving conflicts between various interested parties that adopts the commercial area activation system for carrying out a total redevelopment of the commercial area where small shops are densely located. A market maintenance project has been conducted as a means to recover our traditional market, which was economically depressed, and to revive the local economy, but it is mostly conducted in the form of reconstruction or redevelopment and represents the interests of landowners and merchants. Thus, it is most likely to lead to a gradual disappearance of traditional markets. Conclusions - This study looks primarily into the problems that appeared in the legal text or the guidelines regarding the direction of improvement of the commercial area activation business that has been going on as a demonstration project since 2011 and suggests some solutions.

This study was carried out to grasp the economic effects of the social welfare foundation by establishing and operating it. For this purpose, the effects of the social welfare law of Daegu Metropolitan City on the regional economy were analyzed using the input-output analysis model. As a result, the effects of GDP was 43,445 billion won, the total value-added effect was 1,940 billion won, and the total employment inducement effect was 37,411. Based on these results, the future direction of the social welfare corporation is suggested as follows. First, it is necessary to shift the perception of consumer-oriented welfare toward welfare that contributes to the activation of the local economy. Second, efforts should be made to continuously expand employment linked to social welfare services, to create an environment where jobs can be created from a long-term perspective, and to establish a separate support system. Third, the value-added created by the social welfare foundation should be newly recognized and sought to be expanded in various fields. Fourth, efforts should be made to secure the legitimacy of social service provision and ensure accountability by appropriately promoting the economic ripple effects of social welfare foundation to the local community.

Camp Page, To minimize the negative impacts such as the contraction of the local economy and the reduction of community activities, it has designated Baekdudaegan as protect area since September 2005, also the Korea Forest Service has implemented Support Project for National Income. However, the fundamental purpose and linkage called protection of Baekdudaegan is in lacking status, also various problems were also corrected such as indiscretion business application. For this, the purpose of this research is to provide improvement method by analyzing the problems of support project for national income of Baekdudaegan through a literature research and questionnaires of the responsible officers. First, as the research results, the strengthening sense of responsibility for Baekdudaegan supporting project for National by developing the local nationals as the Baekdudaegan's protection and management agent. Second, think the local nationals as the part of Baekdudaegan and there is need for development of system that can keep income as well as culture with community. Third, By constructing governance that the local nationals and administrations can cooperate, the area activation shall be realized through the Baekdudaegan's symmetric protection and management. The research like this, ban be used as base material of business promotion that consists area development and nationals of development restricted area while protecting the Bekdudaegan later.

This study aims to find implications for urban economic regeneration strategies of local initiative by analyzing of promoting regional strategic industries, both Seongnam and Goyang in terms of regional industrial policy, institution and specialized service agency. The main results based on the case studies are as follows. First, It is a top priority to formulate the policy direction, such as selecting strategic industries and prepare means for improving it. It should keep reliability and continuity for inducing economic units. Second, It is necessary to consider the effectiveness and diversity of institutions. The institutions to be formalized by municipal ordinance and rules for making the successful implementing system of policies. It is necessary to implement strategic industry policy linked with the central government or public organizations for expanding of a diversity of policies. It is necessary to change in viewpoint on the deregulation and tax break for the private sectors as inducements to achieve the regional economy activation. Third, It is necessary to introduce the specialized service agency to improve an effectiveness and efficiency of institutions and accelerate a network within economic units.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Busan Ocean Industry Expo on ocean related industries and Busan regional economy. The study analyzed the effects of the various projects related to Busan Ocean Industry Expo and answered the question of how to link the effects to development of ocean related industries as well as the economic activation of Busan area. Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of policy changes in Busan's local currency, Dong Baek Jeon, on the use of Dong Baek Jeon. In particular, this study tried to investigate consumption changes due to changes in local currency policy depending on the region, industry, and consumer characteristics. Design/methodology/approach This study used the transaction data of Dong Baek Jeon franchise for analysis. Specifically, the data from January 2022 to December 2022 were used to analyze the current status of the use of Dong Baek Jeon and changes in consumption before and after policy changes. Findings As a result of the analysis, the consumption of Dong Baek Jeon tended to be concentrated in specific regions, industries, and ages. In most regions and ages, the top consumption industries were similar. The use of Dong Baek Jeon showed a clear change in the pattern of use depending on policy changes. Specifically, when the benefits were revised downward, the use of Dong Baek Jeon decreased, and when it was revised upward, it increased. Depending on the policy change, the rate of increase and decrease by region and consumer characteristics was relatively similar, but it was confirmed that there was a difference in the rate of increase and decrease depending on the industry.

In this study, Analysis of DRT model and contribustion based on the case of local governments adopting the Demand Responsive Transit(DRT) in order to provide transportation in public transportation service weak area. Based on the case of Yeoju Area, the contribution of the DRT was analyzed. The DRT model was established as a fixed and call type model with taxi and bus transportation. Based on the results of the happy taxi service in Yeoju Area in 2016, the contribution of DRT was analyzed. According to the happy taxi performance of Yeoju city, it was introduced to 27 villages, and operated 4,188 times. And 9,111 people used it and Yeoju Area supported about 53 million Won. The contribution of local governments was analyzed in terms of local government, users, and social aspects. On local government aspects, we analyzed the budget cuts and complaints resolution. On the user aspects, we analyzed waiting time reduction, walking time reduction, travel time reduction, comfort, punctuality, and stability. On social aspects, we analyzed taxi and regional economy activation, and convenience of mobility.
