In this study, we made UV cured acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive containing silicone-urethane-acrylate (SUA) oligomer for a coating on protective film and investigated the effect of SUA oligomer content and UV-dose on adhesion properties. The results illustrated that peel strength decreases with increasing oligomer content and UV-dose, while holding power increases. The gel fractions sharply increased after UV irradiation and then remain constant with prolonged UV exposure. From peel-off test, sample S70 (70% oligomer content) shows the best peelability and removability without remaining any mark or adhesive material on the test substrate than S50 (50% oligomer content) and S60 (60% oligomer content). Sample S70 also showed a surface energy lower than $26mJ/m^2$ and a transmittance higher than 95% at UV-dose 1857 and $2270mJ/cm^2$ which met the required properties for protective film application.

Thermal radiation pastes were prepared by dispersing carbon materials as fillers with a content of 1 weight percent in an acrylic resin. The kind of fillers was as follows; $25{\mu}m$ graphite, $45{\mu}m$ graphite, $15{\mu}m$ carbon nanotube(CNT), a 1:1 mixture of $25{\mu}m$ graphite and $15{\mu}m$ CNT, and a 1:1 mixture of $45{\mu}m$ graphite and $15{\mu}m$ CNT. Thermal emissivity was measured as 0.890 for the samples with graphite only, 0.893 for that with CNT only, and 0.892 for those containing both. After coating prepared pastes on a side of 0.4 mm thick aluminium plate and placing the plate over an opening of a box maintained at $92^{\circ}C$ with the coated side out, the temperatures on the uncoated side of the plates were measured. The samples containing graphite and CNT showed the lowest temperatures. The paste with mixed fillers was coated on the back side of the PCB of an LED module and thermal analysis was carried out using Thermal Transient Tester (T3ster) in a still air box. The thermal resistance of the module with coated PCB was measured as 14.34 K/W whereas that with uncoated PCB was 15.02 K/W. The structure function analysis of T3ster data revealed that the difference between junction and ambient temperatures was $13.8^{\circ}C$ for the coated case and $18.0^{\circ}C$ for the uncoated. From the infrared images of heated LED modules, the hottest-spot temperature of the module with coated PCB was lower than that of the uncoated one for a given period of LED operation.
The Bracket clock in the collection of the Korean Christian Museum at Soongsil University underwent conservation treatment for a special exhibition. The compositional analysis showed that the body was made of brass plated with gold by fire-gilding(gold amalgam process), while the dial was identified as pure copper coated with enamel. The hands were made of steel. Remnants of adhesive tape on the dial were cleaned, followed by the addition of a protective coating. In order to restore it to a condition as similar to its original form as possible, replacements for missing parts were newly constructed out of brass and were connected to the hands and the dial. The dial was then fixed to the body using an acrylic support. The compositional analysis and conservation treatment have left the clock in stable condition and readily available for exhibitions and future studies.

Infrared(IR) reflective black cool pigment and paint which is used for interior/exterior materials(IR reflectance >30%) to prevent heat island effect and to increase energy efficiency were studied. Cool pigment was synthesized using mixture of $Fe_2O_3$ and $Cr_2O_3$ with calcination from 900 to $1,200^{\circ}C$. Cool paint was prepared by formulation of cool pigment, acrylic resins, and other additives. Results showed that optimum color fixation of pigment obtained by mole ratio of Fe to Cr was 0.9 with calcination temperature at $1,000^{\circ}C$. The cool paint formulated by 20% pigment and 1.5% dispersive additive with $125{\mu}m$ thickness of coated layer showed optimum IR reflectance. Temperature difference on surface between cool paint and ordinary paint(STD) was $36.5^{\circ}C$ and IR reflectance(TSR) was 39.3% at wavelength from 700 to 2,500nm. And color change was not detected during 500hrs weathering test.
More than 200 objects selected for the newly-opened Kimhae National Museum were treated for conservation. The objects which represent ancient Kaya culture, were mainly composed of metallic such as gilt bronze, silver, copper alloy and iron. The corrosion products on gilt bronze and copper alloy objects were preserved or removed according to their stability. Minimum treatment was done for preserving the original state of the objects. For silver objects and iron objects with silver-plate decorations, silver surfaces were revealed after treatment of corrosion products and treatments to prevent corrosion of silver and iron were done emphatically. For iron objects, which were stabilized, the original shape of objects was restored and acrylic coating was applied to prevent further corrosion. For the objects which were being corroded, 2-step de-chloride treatments were undertaken. The first step was immersing the objects in a solution of 0.3M sodium hydroxide and the second was the pressure de-chloride treatment using borax-distilled water. The main purpose of those treatments was to get rid of the causes of corrosion. Besides, conservation treatments for potteries, making of special mounting board for exhibition and amendment of various modeling were done too.

To develop mixed pesticides of herbicide and topdressing fertilizer for paddy rice, twelve mixtures were formulated with combination of urea coated with different level of acrylic acid wax(AAW) and four herbicides, which were thiobencarb, pretilachlor, mefenacet + bensulfuron-methyl and mefenacet + bensulfuron-methyl + dymron, and effects of the mixtures for weed control, phytotoxicity and rice tillering were investigated in the laboratory and the field experiments. Release rates of active ingredient of herbicides in the distilled water were over 90% during 24 hours same as that of the reference herbicides. The release rates of nitrogen showed different patterns according to coated level of granular urea with acrylic acid wax. Optimum release rate of nitrogen as $NH_4-N$ was obtained by 5.5% AAW coating on urea for thiobencarb or pretilachlor mixture, and by 4.0% AAW coating on urea for mefenacet + bensulfuron-methyl or mefenacet + bensulfuron-methyl + dymron mixture. The pesticide active ingredients of the mixtures were stable, which showed $3.7{\sim}8.0%$ of degradation rate after 90 days of storage under $50^{\circ}C$. Effects on weed control of mixtures were acceptable for both annual and perennial weeds, while ACRI-M9213 mixture showed considerable phytotoxicity at double dose of standard. When treated the mixed pesticides to paddy rice, rice growth status including culm length, ear length, panicle number and polished rice yield exhibited no significant differences compared with the conventional treatment.

Numerous factors are known to affect the accuracy of elastomeric impression materials. Factor often overlooked is the quality of the bond between putty and wash during corrective reline impression technique. The putty-wash bond strength must be strong enough to over-come the local stress at putty-wash interface. It is not always possible to avoid saliva contamination in making corrective wash impres-sion. And putty preliminary impression material con be used as a template for provisional restoration. Human saliva and the residual monomer of autopolymerizing acrylic resin are thought to affect the bond strength and the failure type. This study examined the effect of contaminants like human saliva, and residual resin monomer on the putty-wash bond strength and the effectiveness of treatment. 1. Of the tested three brands of Vinyl Polysiloxane impession meterial, Express Exhibited the greatest bond strength followed by Eamix and Perfect showed the lowest putty-wah bond strength. 2. Coating the putty substrates with human saliva did not produce decreased failure load in all the breands of Vinyl Polysiloxane impression meterail. 3. Of the three brands of VPS impression material that were exposed to methhylmethacry-late resin(Jet), only the putty-wash bond strength of the Perfect group diminished signifi-cantly. Moreover, all the specimens from group C of Perfect exhibited adhesive failure. 4. Exposing the substrates to ethylmethacrylate resin(SNAP. diminished the putty-wash bond strength significantly. With Perfect and Examix, failure occurred cohesively through the light-body, whereas with Express, failure occurred adhesive-cohesively. 5. Removing approximately 1mm thickness of the contaminated putty interface was the most effective treatment in countering the undesirable effect caused by residual resin monomer. The putty-wash bond strength of the groups that were treated with 1mm even putty reduction was not significantly different from those of control groups. With Perfect and Examix, cleaning the specimens with gauze soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol increased the putty-wash bond strength, but was not as effective as 1mm even reduction of contaminated putty substrates. With Express, 70% isoproryl alcohol treatment exhibi0ted comparable putty-wash bond strength to that of control group.

Nail art is a kind of nail painting or decoration that adds to the beauty. Throughout making nail art, the worker was on a dusty operation with the smoothing of chemicals and nails. People working at nail shops not only use a variety of chemicals, but also experience a lot of fine powder during the process of nail trimmings. While drying the chemical adhesive, the workers often complain of eye, nose and throat discomfort. In addition, the acrylic brush is characterized by a lot of smell when washed with washing solution. Also nail art workers directly influence the worker's breathing through the work done by placing the guest's hands in a work space called a nail table. Chemical ingredients used in nail art procedures include acetone, ethyl acetic acid, toluene, butyl acetic acid, glue, and top coating of nail varnishes. Prolonged inhalation of these substances may cause dizziness, vomiting, as well as impaired respiratory system. The purpose of this study is to investigate the respiratory symptoms of nail shop workers who are likely to be affected by work in nail shop and to find out which factors have the greatest influence if they have respiratory symptoms. Therefore this study is to provide basic data on the health management system of people engaged in nail shop and to develop health education program. For this study, the data collection was collected on July 7, 2017 for the nail shop workers attending the nail art trend seminar held in Gwangju, in Korea. The data were all 236. However, except for the poor data, 208 data were used for the final analysis. The questionnaire consisted of 30 in general questions, questions about self-efficacy in 24 questions. elf-efficacy measuring tool developed by A.Y, Kim, I. Y, Park(2001). The self-efficacy questionnaire consists of 24 items and is self-reported 7-point Likert scale. The reliability of this tool was cronbach alpha = .934.The collected data were analyzed using spss 18.0. Information of Research participant performed frequency analysis. To examine the effects of personal characteristics on self-efficacy, $X^2$ analysis was conducted. And also $X^2$ analysis was conducted to analyze the coughing symptom appearance according to individual and environmental factors. A hierarchical regression analysis was used to determine which of the personal and environmental factors influenced cough symptoms.

In the study, acrylate copolymer as MMA-co-GMA-co-AA with a high hardness and flexibility was synthesized for applying to the clear protection film, where GMA was used as a mediator to enhance polymerization-efficiency between MMA and AA. With an increase of GMA content, molecular weight and hardness of acrylate copolymer increased, however, flexibility decreased. With an increase of AA content, its molecular weight and hardness decreased, however, flexibility increased. Molar ratio of GMA/MMA and AA/GMA were optimized as 1.6 and 1.8, respectively, at 30 g of MMA to enhance hardness and flexibility of acrylate copolymer film. Molecular weight and Tg of the acrylate copoylmer were 13,300 g/mol and 136.5 $^{\circ}C$, respectively. Hardness of the coated film at 1.4 g/$m^2$ of spread was 1 H and no crack was observed at expansion ratio of 5% and 15%, respectively. Hardness of film was improved to 3 H by increasing spread of 4.1-4.6 g/$m^2$.
Four different composition of autoxidation drying type waterborne coatings (WBC-1, WBC-2, WBC-3, WBC-4) were prepared by the compounding of bentonite (BEN) as a water swellable clay and organometallic soaps as a drier with acrylic binder and coating additives. The solution viscosity, solid content, rheological properties and drying rate of WBCs were investigated. Also the thermal stability, the transmittance and the water-resistance of the films casted by WBCs were measured, and the surface topology of WBC films were investigated by the scanning probe microscopy. As WBC-2, WBC-3 and WBC-4 containing BEN showed the thixotropy with the shear rate, the storage stability of WBC was a excellent. When the driers was mixed in the ratio of Mn/Zn/Ba=1/2/3, the dry ability of WBCs showed maximum as 5.0 sec at 60$\^{C}$. The initial decomposition temperature and the transmittance of WBC films containing BEN increased in range of 32.2∼54.7$\^{C}$ and 5.1∼8.6% than the commercial WBC (MC-21W), respectively. The water resistance of WBC films increased in order of MC-21W
